Will The Rock finally come back?

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that WWE is "hoping for" The Rock to make an appearance at Survivor Series in November, but nothing has been confirmed.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling podcast notes that the plan is to have Survivor Series in Brooklyn, but that could change.

The Rock has not appeared on WWE television since SmackDown premiered on FOX in October 2019.

A match between Rock and Roman Reigns has been heavily talked about by both parties and The Rock has stated he's open to a match against Reigns, should things work out between everyone involved. It was previously reported by Meltzer that Rock would be open to doing the bout in 2022.

Rock, Paul Heyman, and Reigns have all publicly commented on the potential marquee match at WrestleMania between the two, but nothing has been made official.

Reigns noted that he believes WrestleMania 39 in 2023 would be the spot for the match as the event takes place in Hollywood. You can find Roman's full comments on the bout by clicking here.
