Report: WWE Offered Jeff Hardy A Spot In 2022 Hall Of Fame

WWE is reportedly looking to bring Jeff Hardy back.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, John Laurinaitis reportedly called Jeff Hardy and offered him a spot in the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame as a way to get him back. Hardy reportedly turned down the offer and wanted the results from his drug test, which reportedly took six weeks to get back.

Jeff was released by WWE on December 9 after teaming with Drew McIntyre & King Xavier Woods at a live event on December 4. In the bout, Jeff was reportedly sluggish and left the ringside area after tagging out. He was sent home on December 5. Fightful had heard WWE had breathalyzed Jeff Hardy on the spot, which he passed.

Jeff has done an acoustic meet and greet tour following his WWE release.
