With a decline in WWE Network subscriptions, the WWE are discussing the possibility of making big changes to the company.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE officials have been looking at reducing their pay-per-view schedule in 2017. The report says that the plans aren't finalized as of yet.
By the end of 2016, the WWE will have promoted 15 pay-per-view events, in addition to 5 Network exclusive specials, for a total of 20 events. With the brand split ramping up, it's unknown how this will affect the individual brands.
The WWE's next pay-per-view event is this month's Survivor Series, which pits Raw talents against Smackdown competitors.
