Report: WWE Reinstates Promotions And Raises For Employees

Good news for WWE employees.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, WWE held an "all hands on deck meeting" with employees on Thursday.

Johnson reports the company has reinstated promotions and raises for employees after freezing them earlier this year. He also notes "the implication" was a big part of the staff would be receiving raises in the upcoming days and weeks.

Fightful Select reported on February 12 there was a major meeting in WWE where they were told by the company that they wouldn't be provided promotions, raises or bonuses. The meeting was for employees and not talent or wrestlers and several employees were upset.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported on February 18 WWE employees received a stock award valued at $3,000. Thurston clarifies that not everyone received the stock award, but a large number did.

WWE employees returned to their offices in July. The company is set to hit the road again on Friday with WWE SmackDown.
