WWE WrestleMania 42 will reportedly not be taking place in New Orleans.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WrestleMania 42 in 2026 will not be taking place in New Orleans.
Thurston received a statement from the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation saying the event will be rescheduled to a later year. The statement says that WWE Money in the Bank will be held in New Orleans in 2026.
“The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company are working closely with our friends at TKO to expand our long-standing partnership, which will include UFC 318 on July 19, 2025, Money In The Bank in 2026, and WrestleMania – which will move from the currently scheduled 2026 timeframe to a future year.”
WWE has confirmed the news of WrestleMania 42 moving locations.

WrestleMania 42 had been scheduled to take place on April 11 and 12 at the Caesars Superdome.
The Rock and WWE announced New Orleans as the host city of WrestleMania 42 on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown.
