AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Collision on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

This week's episode is the first AEW Collision following the inaugural AEW Dynasty pay-per-view on April 21.

AEW Collision (4/27/24) Results

- Swerve Strickland kicks off the show. He runs down all of the new happenings since AEW Dynasty. He claims that Jack Perry and The Elite made a bitch move by attacking Tony Khan. He says we're in the Dynasty era. Claudio Castagnoli interrupts him. They are going to have a match tonight and Claudio promises to take the championship from him.

- Tony Schiavone announces that Tony Khan is banged up but will continue to work remotely from Jacksonville.

* AEW Unified World Trios Championships: Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Austin Gunn, & Colten Gunn) (c) def. Action Andretti and Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin)

- Tony Schiavone announces that both members of FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) are banged up and we will see them soon

- Via vignette, The House of Black has accepted Adam Copeland's TNT Open Challenge, which will air this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite. Copeland will not know who he will face until the match starts.

* Rey Fenix def. The Beast Mortos

- A video recaps the issues between Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta. Arkady Aura tries to interview Orange Cassidy. Cassidy says he's working through things but then Kris Statlander interrupts the interview and says "he needs us."

* RUSH def. Martin Stone

- The former Danny Burch lost to the returning RUSH in short order. RUSH attacked Martin after the match.

- Serena Deeb says that it's obvious she is the next challenger for the Women's World Championship and that failure is not an option because to her this is real life.

* Toni Storm def. Anna Jay

- Chuck Taylor is getting ready for his parking lot fight with Trent and tells Orange Cassidy that no matter what happens he needs to do this alone.

* The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) def. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zach Gibson)

- Katsuyori Shibata plans on fighting Shane Taylor promotions alone tonight but Daniel Garcia comes in and offers to be his partner

* AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland (c) def. Claudio Castagnoli
