AEW Dynamite (11/1/23) Results: Tony Khan Announcement, Three Title Bouts, MJF vs. Bullet Club Gold

AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

This week's episode will feature a very important announcement from Tony Khan. Also, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will be in tag team action. In addition to that, three titles will be on the line, including Orange Cassidy and Hikaru Shida defending their gold.

AEW Dynamite (11/1/23) Results

- AEW World Champion MJF was interviewed by Rene Paquette. He has a list of available guys on a -clipboard and he's determined to find tag team partners for tonight. He video chats Adam Cole who suggests that he needs to take Samoa Joe up on his offer. MJF goes away, as he has to concentrate on his match tonight. Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett arrive. Cole is accused by Strong of being The Devil after Cole says he doesn't believe it's MJF. The Devil hacks into the broadcast and appears.

* AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) def. Claudio Castagnoli

- Jon Moxley appears and fights Cassidy. Moxley grabs control and assaults security guards. Claudio eventually pulls Jon off Cassidy.

- MJF approaches Kenny Omega's locker room. Chris Jericho responds as he's tagging with Omega tonight. Jericho laughs and slams the door in his face. Wardlow confronts MJF, slams him against the wall, and warns him that he'll take everything from him when MJF is least expecting it. MJF walks by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. MJF snubs him.

- Backstage, Jon Moxley claims that Orange Cassidy won the AEW International Championship by picking the bones of Rey Fenix. He claims to be sick of Cassidy and everyone else. MOX challenges Cassidy to a bout at AEW Full Gear.

* ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona & Kaun) (c) (w/ Prince Nana) def. The Hung Bucks (Hangman Page, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)

- Backstage, officials separate Page and Strickland. Ringside, however, Matt crashes a table and strikes a ring post with a chair, visibly enraged by the defeat.

- Backstage, MJF is still looking for a partner. He takes the time to write "Emo Bitch" on Darby Allin's locker room sign. MJF runs into The Acclaimed again, but again he rejects them.

- Adam Copeland comes to the ring and puts over Tony Schiavone when he's interrupted by Christian Cage. Cage advises him not to accept Sting's offer because he's going to leave him confined to a wheelchair. Christian sent his goons to the ring to take out Adam early. Adam fights back. Sting and Darby Allin make the save. All of this was enough for Adam to get over his aversion to hitting his best friend and he delivers a Spear to Christian and accepts the offer to team with Darby and Sting at Full Gear.

- Tony Khan's announcement: Fans can sign up for tickets for All In 2024 now.

* Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega def. Matt Menard & Angelo Parker

- Don Callis and his family walk down the ramp. Callis challenges Omega and Jericho to a street fight in two weeks against them. Omega says they'll partner up with Kota Ibushi. Callis observes that they are still a man short, and Jericho mentions yet again that he has a "big" friend which is, of course, Paul Wight (subscribe to Fightful Select).

- Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho are in the locker room being interviewed by Renee Paquette. The Young Bucks are also in there and they seem genuinely upset that Kenny is teaming with Chris Jericho, reminding Kenny that they were all enemies at one point. Omega tries to talk to them but they storm off.

* AEW Women's World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) def. Willow Nightingale

- Toni Storm came out after the match but Shida ran right down and attacked her, chasing her away. A blackout occurs, and Julia Hart is behind Willow. She offers Willow a place with her. Skye Blue arrives on the scene and appears to be aligned with Julia, but actually mists her with blue mist.

- The Acclaimed approach MJF once more. They give him specific clothing to wear. He declines, and Jeff Jarrett and his side attempt to enlist MJF.

- Adam Cole is called by Roderick Strong and The Kingdom. Strong becomes enraged that MJF didn't ask them to tag with him. Cole tells Strong to shut up.

* Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) def. MJF & The Acclaimed

- When Bullet Club Gold assaults MJF, The Acclaimed, and Billy Gunn defend him. White approaches MJF with the title. Caster pushes MJF aside and takes the bullet for his (wannabe) man. As Bullet Club Gold flees, MJF checks on Caster. Caster raises his hand, expecting to scissor. MJF declines. Gunn screams at MJF. Finally, MJF scissors The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
