AEW hosted its latest episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, live from the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia.

AEW Dynamite (1/24/24) Results

- Samoa Joe entered the ring and said that it was a night of celebration because opportunities would have to be won from now on. He claims everyone will strive for an opportunity, but all that they'd receive is the worst night of their lives. HOOK interrupted and conceded defeat. He shook Joe's hand and promised to meet him again.HOOK then beat up security guards after Samoa Joe requested he be ejected

* Hangman Page def. Penta El Zero Miedo

- Orange Cassidy is interviewed backstage. He talks about his match against Roderick Strong at Revolution. Cassidy says he still wants to defend his title in the meantime and says he will defend the gold on Saturday Collision.

- The Young Bucks are interviewed. They joked that backstage morale was through the roof and they were making sure the show ran smoothly. They ran into Top Flight. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson joked that the group might get fined for being late again and they say they were there the whole day.

* Wardlow def. Trent Beretta

- After the match, Beretta showed clear frustration with Orange Cassidy.

- Deonna Purrazo and Toni Storm had their face-to-face interaction. Deonna said she was more interested in facing the real Storm. She reflected on their friendship and the fact that they have matching tattoos. Toni became angry about everything and threw her shoe at Deonna. Deonna through her shoe and retaliation. She tried to put the Venus de Milo on Storm, but Mariah May made the save. Lutha ate a big boot from Purrazzo, who posed with the belt to end the segment.

- Jon Moxley cut a promo about the BCC being truly Elite. He says he'll be fighting on AEW Rampage. It is revealed he will be fighting Lee Moriarty.

- Backstage, Taya Valkyrie says she knows "The Virtuosa" and challenges her to a match.

* Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana) def. Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy)

- Sting and Darby Allin confirm that they want to be Tag Team Champions. Big Bill and Ricky Starks would accept their challenge. The match will take place in two weeks.

* AEW Trios Championships: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Billy Gunn def. Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona, Kaun)

- A Serena Deeb video package airs.
