This week's episode emanated from Montreal and featured Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage for the TNT Title. Also, the Continental Classic continues.

AEW Dynamite (12/6)

* AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Jon Moxley (9) def. RUSH (3)

- Roderick Strong was interviewed by Renee Paquette. He once again warned that MJF was going to show his true colors. He said he had been confined by the wheelchair as a result of his own choices. He then got out of the wheelchair and The Kingdom dumped the wheelchair with Strong saying that he was going to take care of business that should have been taken care of.

- Renee Paquette is waiting to interview Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Hangman Page comes up to her. He concedes that he lost to Swerve Strickland at two pay-per-views. He also said that he knows what Strickland wants more than anything in the world and that he's going to make sure that Strickland never gets it. MJF comes out of his locker room. He confronts Page. Page tries to leave him alone but Max keeps antagonizing him. They go through their history together and Max offers to fight Hangman, but Samoa Joe breaks this up. Joe says that he is responsible for Max now and reprimands Max for picking these fights.

* AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Swerve Strickland (9) def. Mark Briscoe (0)

- Mariah May reveals in an interview that her AEW in-ring debut is approaching, but she doesn't give any information other than that it will be huge.

- Samoa Joe & MJF vs. The Devil’s Masked Men never gets started because The Devil's men surround the ring where Samoa Joe stands alone. The lights go out and the goons disappear. On the screen, The Devil appears and MJF is depicted collapsed backstage with broken glass surrounding him.

- Jon Moxley addresses his victory. He says he expected to be undefeated so far. He also expects to continue to be undefeated until he wins the whole tournament. He's confronted by Swerve Strickland. Strickland reminds Moxley that he is also undefeated and reveals that they will fight next week.

- TCM's Ben Mankiewicz introduces Toni Storm

* AEW Women's World Championship: Toni Storm (c) def. Skye Blue

- After the match, Riho returns and attacks Storm, who gets carried out by Lutha.

- A video package shows all the upcoming Canadian tour dates for AEW in 2024.

- The rivalry between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage is recapped in a video package. Their match is still to come in the main event.

* AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Jay White (6) def. Jay Lethal (0)

* TNT Championship: Christian Cage (c) def. Adam Copeland

- Nick Wayne's mom, Shayna Wayne, hit the ring, while the referee was down and cracked Adam Copeland with the championship, allowing Christian Cage to get the victory.
