AEW Dynamite (4/10/24)

  • TNT Championship: Adam Copeland (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo

  • AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Dustin Rhodes

  • Mariah May vs. Anna Jay

  • Chris Jericho, HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo, Shane Taylor, & Lee Moriarty)

  • Matthew & Nicholas Jackson will reveal backstage footage from AEW All In at Wembley Stadium

  • Toni Storm to toast Thunder Rosa

AEW Dynamite (4/10/24) Results

- AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Dustin Rhodes doesn't get started because Swerve Strickland attacked Joe during his entrance. Joe ended up being speared through a table. The status of the match is unclear.

- A video package covering Trent Beretta's heel turn plays.

* TNT Championship: Adam Copeland (c) def. Penta El Zero Miedo

- Brody King and Julia Hart attack Adam Copeland. Willow Nightingale evens the odds and the babyfaces stand tall.

- Renee Paquette interviews HOOK, Chris Jericho, and Katsuyori Shibata. Jericho is calling plays for their upcoming match with Shane Taylor Promotions. Shibata questions Jericho's motives.

- Adam Copeland and Willow Nightingale will face Julia Hart and Brody King next week.

- Matthew and Nicholas Jackson show the footage of Jack Perry and CM Punk's altercation backstage at AEW All In. Afterward, FTR cut a promo about why they need to win at AEW Dynasty.

- Will Ospreay is interviewed on the stage by Renee Paquette. He addresses a rumor that he's afraid of the grind and makes a joke about other people grinding on the boss's daughter to get where they need to be. He turns his attention to his match against Bryan Danielson. He calls Brian Danielson a living legend and says that they're going to show the world that this is where the best wrestle, but he's on another level.

* Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo, Shane Taylor, & Lee Moriarty) def. Chris Jericho, HOOK, & Katsuyori Shibata

* Kazuchika Okada def. Cristiano Argento

- Post-Match: Okada accepts PAC's challenge for AEW Dynasty. PAC arrives but is attacked by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. FTR's Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler come out to save him but Okada stops them with a chair. The Elite stand tall.

- Toni Storm's toast to Thunder Rosa results in Toni throwing champagne at her Challenger and throwing a tray at her. Deonna Purrazzo tries to check on Rosa. Mariah May then makes her entrance for her match.

* Mariah May def. Anna Jay

- After the match, Anna locks Mariah in the Queen Slayer. Mina Shirakawa runs down to the ring to save Mariah. They share some champagne and Mina kisses Mariah.

- Mercedes Mone has a sit-down interview where she speaks with Alex Marvez all about her upcoming TBS championship match at AEW Double or Nothing. There is a blackout and Mercedes is attacked. It is not shown who attacks her.

* AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: Samoa Joe (c) def. Dustin Rhodes

- Swerve Strickland attacks Samoa Joe and hits him with his chain both men are separated but Strickland is able to pose with the AEW Title to close the show.
