- Jake Roberts appears to start the show, Roberts asks the fans if they would stand on the tracks of an incoming train or jump out of a plane without a parachute or face Lance Archer in the ring. Roberts talks about what Archer did to Marko Stunt last week, Roberts calls Stunt an idiot for facing Archer last week. Roberts says Cody may get beat by Shawn Spears tonight so he won’t have to face Archer in the AEW TNT Title Tournament, Roberts asks if Cody is a man or a mouse.

Lance Archer vs. Allan Angels

The match begins with Archer immediately kicking Ingles in the face, Archer corners Angels before attacking him with more strikes. Angels fights back and he nails Archer with some strikes, Archer recovers and he throws Angels across the ring. Archer then hits Angels with a running back elbow strike, Archer follows up by hitting Angels with the Blackout for a three count.

Winner: Lance Archer

Dr. Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida

The match begins with Baker nailing an incoming Shida with a side kick, Shida and Baker get into a shoving match. Baker corners Shida while ramming her face first into the top turnbuckle, Shida fights back and she cracks Baker with a few forearm strikes. Shida misses a drop kick and Baker exits the ring, Shida follows Baker and Baker gets back in the ring. Baker attacks Shida with a ton of strikes when she gets back in the ring, Baker keeps Shida seated while kicking her in the back. Shida gets up and she backs Baker into the corner until Baker goes down, Baker fights back and she kicks Shida in the midsection. Baker then hits Shida with a knee strike and Fame Asser, Baker keeps Shida down while attacking her with more strikes. Baker corners Shida again while choking her, Baker keeps Shida cornered while landing a face wash for a near fall. Baker drags Shida to the ropes while choking her on the middle rope, Baker goes to the ring apron before nailing Shida with a side kick.

Baker leaves the ring and she talks to Schiavone, Shida leaves the ring and she attacks Baker from behind. Baker recovers and she throws Shida into the barricade, Shida fights back and she dumps Baker on top of the barricade. Shida has the fans hold Baker while she lands a running knee strike, Shida then suplexes Baker back over the barricade as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Shida nail Baker with a suplex for a near fall, Shida misses a knee strike and Baker rolls her up for a near fall. Shida catches Baker in a triangle choke and Baker makes it to the ropes, Baker recovers and she nails Shida with a sling blade followed by a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Baker gets angry and she stomps away on a downed Shida, Baker then hits Shida with a side Russian leg sweep. Baker then looks for Lockjaw and Shida gets to the ropes, Shida fights back and she has a striking exchange with Baker.

Shida ends the exchange by landing an enziguri, Baker recovers and she hits Shida with a super kick. Shida follows up by nailing Baker with a falcon arrow, Baker catches Shida in a roll up before reapplying the Lockjaw. Shida gets free and she clobbers Baker with a knee strike to her bloody face, Baker fights back and she nails Shida with a spinning fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Baker follows up by nailing Shida with a side kick to the face, Baker traps Shida’s mouth on the bottom rope before missing a stomp attempt. Shida then dumps Baker to the ring apron, Shida and Baker get into another striking exchange. Shida sets up for a superplex and Baker rakes her eyes before landing a leg kick, Baker goes to the top rope and Shida meets her up there. Shida picks up Baker and she drops her midsection first on the top turnbuckle, Shida then hits Baker with a running knee strike for a three count.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

- Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa are backstage talking about their history as a team, Nakazawa says they should be called Best Friends and Omega reminds them that there is already a team called Best Friends in AEW. Orange Cassidy comes out of a bathroom and he lets the Best Friends in the locker room, things get hostile between both teams and Best Friends say they’ll put their team name on the line.

- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Jon Moxley and Jake Hager.

- Cody and Shawn Spears talk about their match tonight in the AEW TNT Title Tournament.

Best Friends (Trent & Chuck Taylor) w/Orange Cassidy vs. Kenny Omega & Michael Nakazawa

The match begins with Taylor backing Omega into the ropes before letting him go free, Omega starts working over the arm of Taylor. Taylor gets free and Omega drops him with a shoulder tackle, Taylor recovers and he nails Omega with a few arm drags before working over his arm. Trent tags in and he nails the arm of Omega with a top rope axe handle drop, Nakazawa tags in and he backs Trent into the ropes before landing a chop. Trent fires back and he exchanges strikes with Nakazawa, Nakazawa uses baby oil to lessen the impact of Trent’s chops. Omega tags in and he double teams Trent with Nakazawa, Taylor interferes and he gets double teamed by the opposition. Omega goes back to work on Trent while attacking him with a ton of strikes, Nakazawa interferes and he crotches Trent on the ring post as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Nakazawa tagging in and attacking the back of Trent, Nakazawa then crotches Trent on the top rope before sliding him across the ropes.

Nakazawa gets Trent off the ropes before landing an atomic drop for a near fall, Omega tags back in and he attacks Trent with some elbow strikes to the neck. Omega drops Trent before landing an elbow drop for a near fall, Omega keeps Trent down while holding him in a chin lock. Trent gets free and he nails a charging Omega with a clothesline, Taylor and Nakazawa are tagged in by their respective partners. Taylor quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Taylor then drops Nakazawa head first onto the balls of Omega. Taylor and Trent clear the ring before landing stereo dives, Cassidy gives a thumbs up before avoiding a hug from Nakazawa and Omega. Trent and Taylor return to attack their foes from behind, Nakazawa misses a leaping clothesline against Best Friends. Cassidy returns and Nakazawa throws his sunglasses away, Cassidy puts another pair of glasses on before nailing Omega with a suicide dive. Trent then hits Nakazawa with a tornado DDT for a near fall, Nakazawa recovers and he nails Trent with a spear.

Omega and Taylor are tagged in by their respective partners, Omega cleans house against the opposing team. Omega nails Taylor with a Finlay Roll before hitting Trent with a back stabber, Omega then hits Trent with a snap dragon suplex. Taylor returns and he nails Omega with a knee strike, Trent gets up and hits Omega with a knee strike of his own. Taylor then hits Omega with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Trent tags in and Omega nails him with a buckle bomb into Taylor. Nakazawa then hits Taylor with a super fall away slam, Nakazawa tags in and he works with Omega to hit Trent with The Wind for a near fall. Nakazawa takes off his thong and he tries hitting Trent with it, Nakazawa eventually hits him with the thong to land the Ultimate Venom Arm for a near fall. Nakazawa accidentally hits Omega with the thong, Trent and Taylor then double team Nakazawa for a near fall.

Taylor and Omega take their battle to the arena floor, Trent then hits Nakazawa with a pile driver for a near fall. Best Friends then hit Nakazawa with Strong Zero for a three count.

Winners: Best Friends (Trent & Chuck Taylor) w/Orange Cassidy

- Brodie Lee arrives outside of the AEW taping site and he addresses some masked men, Lee chastises two of them men for not wearing suits. Lee tells the person wearing a suit that he has an opportunity for him, both of them head inside the AEW building.
