AEW Dynamite (5/15)

  • AEW World Title Eliminator: Swerve Strickland vs. Brian Cage
  • Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone contract signing
  • Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson vs. Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher
  • AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) vs. Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal
  • AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Dax Harwood
  • HOOK returns
  • Toni Storm vs. Harley Cameron
  • Will Ospreay and Roderick Strong face-to-face
  • Malakai Black answers Adam Copeland's challenge

AEW Dynamite (5/15/24) Results

* Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson DEF. Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher

- Konosuke Takeshita hit the ring and attacked Moxley. After the beatdown, he motioned that he wanted the IWGP World Championship.

- Adam Copeland ran down to the ring and got attacked by Brody King, Malakai Black, and Buddy Matthews. Kyle O'Reilly tried to make the save but failed. Black demanded that they take Adam's wedding ring. Black left without actually answering Adam's challenge for a match at AEW Double or Nothing.

- The Elite cut a promo and proclaimed Eddie Kingston's out of AEW Double or Nothing. FTR later said they found a new partner.

* AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) def. Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal

- The Young Bucks claimed Christopher Daniels was fired after the match. They had him removed by security. Jack Perry threw Woooo! energy on Tony Schiavone. Love that for them.

- Toni Storm cuts a promo on Serena Deeb.

- Malakai Black is featured in a vignette, accepting Copeland's challenge.

* HOOK def. Sebastian Wolfe

- HOOK calls out Chris Jericho. Jericho comes out and HOOK challenges him to a match right then and there. Jericho says he will be in a qualifying match on AEW Collision. If he wins he will earn a future shot at the FTW Championship. Bill and Jericho attack HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata runs down to make the save.

* AEW World Title Eliminator: Swerve Strickland def. Brian Cage

- Christian Cage and Mother Wayne appear. Nick Wayne appears and low blows him. Nick cracks Strickland over the head with a picture of his daughters. Christian Cagre promises to take everything from Strickland at AEW Double or Nothing.

* Toni Storm def. Harley Cameron

- HOOK is backstage and says that he would go through anybody, including Shibata, to get another chance at Chris Jericho. Samoa Joe gives him a pep talk.

- Will Ospreay and Roderick Strong have a face-to-face conducted by Arkady.

- Renee Paquette oversees the contract signing between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone. The contract signing ends with Nightingale telling Mercedes that the last time they fought for a championship she walked out a champion while Mercedes didn't walk out at all. Mercedes slaps the champion. Willow puts Mercedes through a table.

* AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Dax Harwood

- Post-match: Chaos ensues as the members of Anarchy in the arena all fight. Darby Allin hits the ring and he returns to join Bryan Danielson and FTR against Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry, and Okada at AEW Double or Nothing.
