Komander vs. Chris Jericho

The match was taken to the floor very early on, with Komander flooring Chris Jericho with a kick. Back in the ring, Jericho takes over control. Komander comes back with a series of kicks, but Chris Jericho would hip toss the Luchador to the outside of the ring as the show goes to its first commercial break. During the commercial break, Jericho kept control and dropped Komander back first on the apron as he continued to taunt the crowd. Jericho was distracted by Alex Abrahantes, allowing the luchador to briefly fight back before Chris Jericho assumed control again, suplexing the high flyer from the apron to the ring for a two-count.

Eventually, Komander quickens the pace and gets several near-fall attempts with pinning combinations. Chris Jericho catches him in a Powerbomb for two. Komander gets a near fall with a Rope-Walk Shooting Star Press. Chris Jericho misses the Judas Effect. Komander goes for a Dragonrana but gets caught in the Liontamer for the submission victory.

Winner: Chris Jericho

- Don Callis comes out and brags about the rating he and Chris Jericho drew last week. He plays a video package of a time when they were in a stable together in 1995 with Bad News Brown. Jericho remarked that he still has his hair while Don does not but recalls Brown telling them to stay together. Don pressures him more to join his growing family, and Chris Jericho is left in the ring with a lot to consider.

- A video package covers the history of Jack Perry and HOOK. Alex Marvez tries to interview the former Jungle Boy, who refuses to get out of his car. HOOK decides to get in his car, and Perry runs away.

- Don Callis tells Renee Paquette that he will be out in the ring to make the announcement by himself of the fifth member of team BCC in Blood and Guts.

- Adam Cole & MJF are in a bar. Four women pass by. Max suggests that there are two for each of them. Adam says he actually really cares about Britt Baker, so MJF goes off with the girls by himself. Adam Cole gets to decide what they do next so they play AEW: Fight Forever. Max realizes that playing multiplayer games with friends is fun and lets it slip that he doesn't really have friends. Adam says he's a cool guy. They defeat the virtual versions of FTR to win the Tag Team Championship in the game.

Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament – Semifinals: Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia

Guevara and Cassidy begin the fight. Cassidy takes the upper hand as they trade arm drags. Garcia catches him off guard, but Allin comes in and dropkicks him. Guevara and Allin exchange handshakes. At ringside, Allin dives on Garcia. Garcia counters Cassidy's dive and smacks him into the barricade. Garcia has the upper hand and knocks Allin to the ground. Garcia and Guevara isolate Allin and maintain control of the fight. Allin rallies behind Guevara with a Code Red. Cassidy tags in and unleashes a barrage of assault. Garcia hits the Dragontamer after countering the Orange Punch. Cassidy confronts him about Stundog Millionaire. Cassidy gets a two-count with a DDT and then hits Beach Break on Guevara. Garcia and Cassidy trade pin attempts. Both men are knocked out following a heavy boot to the face. Allin and Guevara exchange punches. Garcia slaps Cassidy over the apron. Guevara lands a knee strike on Allin. Allin avoids the Shooting Star Press. At ringside, Garcia has Cassidy in a Dragontamer. Prince Nana appears and delivers Garcia Allin the skateboard. Swerve Strickland jumps in and kicks Darby while the referee isn't watching. Guevara strikes Allin with the GTH to secure the victory.

Winners: Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia

- Nick Wayne is featured in a video package prior to his ring debut. Nick claims he continued training, at least in part, to honor his father. He claims to be prepared for the pressure. He has been preparing for his entire life.

- Backstage, Roderick Strong approaches Adam Cole and wonders if Cole is growing fond of MJF. Cole believes MJF isn't completely horrible.

Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament – Semifinals: MJF & Adam Cole vs. Brian Cage & Big Bill

MJF attempts a body slam on Big Bill but is unable to lift him. He tags Cole and begins to walk away, but Cole pursues him and brings him back. Cole tries some push-ups as Cage flexes. MJF is dead set on slamming Big Bill. He is still unable to pick him up. Bill stomps on MJF after he finishes some push-ups. Bill challenges MJF to fight him. Cage and Bill team up to keep the advantage over MJF. MJF organizes a rally and criticizes Big Bill. Cole takes the upper hand after MJF tags him. MJF orders the double clothesline, but Cage anticipates it. Big Bill clotheslines Cole and MJF. Cole and MJF fight back, with MJF hitting the Heatseeker. Cole takes the victory with The Boom.

Winners: Adam Cole & MJF

- After the match, Cole & MJF excite the crowd and say they will become the new AEW Tag Team Champions on July 29. They have to get by Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia next week first.

- Backstage, Jake Hager confronts Chris Jericho about his relationship with Don Callis. He asks if Jericho is really considering joining Don and his new family. Jericho says they have history, so it's complicated. Hager brings up their own history and says that because Jericho won't be straight with him, he can't give him "100," so Jake hands Jericho his beloved purple bucket hat.

Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament – Semifinals: Ruby Soho vs. Skye Blue

Blue takes an early lead. Toni Storm climbs onto the apron, and Blue kicks her. Blue is slammed into the steel steps by Storm. Saraya and Storm are ejected. Soho slams Blue's knee into the steps and aims for her leg. Blue fights back, but her leg gives way briefly. She continues to fight, but Ruby counters the Code Blue. She twists Blue's injured knee and moves into a single-leg crab, but Blue reaches the ropes. Blue slams Soho with a Full Nelson Facebuster for two. Soho wins with the No Future, pulling Blue down from the top rope.

Winner: Ruby Soho

- Backstage, the QTV team pitches to a music video where Harley Cameron raps about The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.

Swerve Strickland vs. Nick Wayne

The match starts out even with both men trying to gain an advantage. Nick Wayne is allowed a brief moment to shine before Strickland completely takes over. Swerve beats up Nick on the outside in front of his mother. Swerve eventually throws him back in the ring. Wayne battles back briefly, but Swerve takes him out with a sliding neck breaker to the outside of the ring. Wayne eventually gets control back in the ring hitting a springboard stunner into a standing sliced bread for two. Nick Wayne goes to the top but is caught by Swerve in a Torture Rack Backbreaker. Darby Allin comes back to ringside to encourage Wayne. Wayne hits a top rope Poison Rana. He then hits Wayne's World (A Flying Cutter) for two because Strickland puts his foot on the bottom rope. Swerve counters another Rana attempt with a top rope Powerbomb and a drive-by kick for two. Swerve hits an arm breaker, followed by the JML Driver for the victory.

Winner: Swerve Strickland

Mystery Picks for the final two spots for the “Blood & Guts” match.

Don Callis is back out for a third time tonight. He says he's so excited to announce the fifth member of the team, who along with the rest of the BCC will slaughter Kenny Omega and The Elite. Don says there is no one more deserving of this beating than Omega. Omega comes out to confront Callis and he gets assaulted by Jon Moxley, Konosuke Takeshita, and PAC from behind. PAC utilized a steel chair and it appears he is the fifth man. An assault is put down on Omega. PAC says he's waited for this for a very long time, confirming he is the fifth member. PAC goes to deliver a Black Arrow, Kenny tells them to check the screen where a video package reveals that Kota Ibushi will indeed team with The Elite, forming The Golden Elite once again. The Elite come out and attack the BCC.

Adam Page says next week, they finish this once and for all. Kenny Omega says that next week they will learn that it's about more than violence. It's about heart, passion, soul, friendship, and love.
