AEW Rampage Results For 1/28/22 Jon Moxley vs. Anthony Bowens, Jade Cargill vs. Julia Hart

- AEW commentator Excalibur kicks off the show "It's Friday Night, and you know what that means." Excalibur then welcomes his colleagues Taz, Ricky Starks, and Chris Jericho to the telecast.

Jon Moxley vs. Anthony Bowens ( w/ Max Caster)

Before the bell rings, Jon Moxley takes out Max Caster with a right. Then, Moxley hits Anthony Bowens with a German suplex. Moxley is all over Bowens and is punishing him with many strikes; Moxley sends Bowens into the barricade with ease.

Moxley then sends Bowens into the crowd; they make it back to the ringside area. Bowens gains control after sending Moxley into the ring post. Bowens controls the match; Bowens takes Moxley down with a Russian leg sweep.

Moxley begins getting some strikes in, but he gets distracted after Caster trips him up, allowing Bowens to get back into the match. Then, they head out for their first picture-in-picture commercial break with Bowens in control.

We return from the break with Bowens hitting Moxley with a superplex. Moxley sends Bowens over the top rope; Moxley then dives onto both Bowens and Caster.

Moxley gets back into the ring, but Bowens hits him with a DDT. Moxley is up, and now both begin exchanging strikes. Bowens hits Moxley with a thrust kick, Moxley hits Bowens with a piledriver. Moxley goes for the pin, but Bowens kicks out.

Moxley hits Bowens with multiple elbows, Bowens hits Moxley with Acclaim to Fame, but Moxley kicks out. But, Moxley is asking for more; Moxley hits Bowens with a stunner. Caster distracts Moxley and Bowens has the boombox.

The referee takes the boombox, which appeared to be planned because Bowens pulls out brass knuckles while the referee gets rid of the boombox. But, Moxley is ready for it, and he hits Bowens with the Paradigm Shift to get the victory.

Winner: Jon Moxley

- Andrade El Idolo walks into Darby Allin's locker room. Andrade wants to talk to Darby Allin's boss. Darby laughs and says Sting is not his boss. Allin says he has his dignity, and it's not for sale. Andrade tells Darby again that he wants to talk to Sting.

Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson ( w/ Arn Anderson) vs. FTR ( w/ Tully Blanchard)

The match begins with FTR controlling the match; Brock Anderson and Dax Harwood are countering each other's holds and maneuvers. Then, Lee Johnson gets tagged in, and he clears the ring; Lee takes out Cash Wheeler with a tope con hilo.

Lee then dives over the top rope with an assist from Brock Anderson. We go to another picture-in-picture commercial break with FTR in complete control.

We return from the break with Brock Anderson getting the hot tag; he clears the ring, he takes down Wheeler with a double leg takedown. Brock tags in Lee Johnson, and Lee hits a twisting splash. Tully Blanchard gets in the face of Brock Anderson, Arn hits Tully. FTR hits Lee Johnson with the stuffed piledriver; Harwood then pins Lee to victory.

Winner: FTR ( w/ Tully Blanchard)

- We get a video package setting up next week's AEW Rampage match between Thunder Rosa vs. Mercedes Martinez.

TBS Championship Match
Julia Hart vs. Jade Cargill (C) ( w/ "Smart" Mark Sterling)

The bell rings, and we see Julia Hart and Jade Cargill start with a collar and elbow tie-up. Cargill hits Hart with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Cargill begins doing pushups in the ring. Hart attempts to pin Cargill, but Cargill kicks out.

Cargill has Hart up in the air to go for Jaded; however, Julia counters it into a pin attempt. Cargill kicks out, and then Cargill gets up right away and hits Jaded. Jade Cargill pins Julia Hart to retain her TBS Championship title.

Winner: Jade Cargill ( w/ "Smart" Mark Sterling)

- Mark Henry interviews both teams. Matt Hardy and Christian Cage go at it for the most part until Private Party talks about pounding Jurassic Express's ass. Then, Jungle Boy says they don't have a shot tonight, and he wonders why he only hears them talking about pounding ass.

AEW Tag-Team Championship Match
Private Party ( w/ Matt Hardy) vs. Jurassic Express (C) ( w/ Christian Cage)

Before the match, Jurassic Express is starring down The Gunn Club. Private Party attacks Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus from behind. Private Party gets Jungle Boy in the ring and hits him with Gin and Juice right away. They go for the pin; however, Jungle Boy kicks out. Matt Hardy hits Luchasaurus with a chair, and The Blade begins stomping on Luchasaurus.

Jungle Boy makes it over to Luchasaurus for the tag as we go to our last picture-in-picture commercial break.

We return from the break with Luchasaurus hitting Private Party with a double clothesline; Luchasaurus gets to Jungle Boy for the hot tag. Jungle Boy hits Private Party with multiple tope suicida's. Isiah Kassidy jumps from the top turnbuckle, but Jungle Boy counters a crossbody into a slam. Jungle Boy locks in the Snare Trap, but Marq Quen hits Jungle Boy with a Shooting Star Press to break it up. Jurassic Express hits Marq Quen with the Thoracic Express and pin him to retain their AEW Tag-Team Championship.

After the match, The Gunn Club attacked Jurassic Express and Christian Cage. The show goes off the air with Colten and Austin Gunn holding the AEW Tag-Team titles.
