AEW taped matches for the December 9 episode of AEW Rampage on December 7 from the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas.

AEW Rampage Spoilers For 12/9 (Taped On 12/7)
- Jon Moxley def. Konosuke Takeshita
- Hangman Page confronted Moxley after the match and said that doctors wouldn't clear him to compete. He then attacked Moxley, and they brawled around ringside. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta tried to separate them, but Hangman got shoved into a ring post. While Yuta and Castagnoli pulled Moxley away, Page had to be helped up.
- Regina Di WAVE Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) def. The Bunny to earn a future title shot at AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter
- Hayter came to the stage after the match.
- W. Morrisey and Lee Moriarty (with Stokely Hathaway) def. Izzy James & Clayton Bloodstone
- AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) def. the debuting Trent Seven.
- During the match, Penelope Ford brought The Butcher and The Blade to ringside with her. The Best friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) brawled with them. After the bell, Kip Sabian and Seven attacked Cassidy, but Dustin Rhodes made the save.
