The Buy In begins with video packages previewing several matches on tonight's card that previously aired on AEW programming, including Cody vs. MJF, Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley, Nyla Rose vs. Kris Statlander among others.

We now head to the ring with Excalibur and Taz calling the action tonight. They run down the entire card and reveal that we will have a tag team match between SCU and Dark Order before the pay-per-view begins. Before the match, both Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky tell Christopher Daniels to stay put and not join them. Daniel reluctantly obliges.

SCU (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) vs. Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

Both teams begin brawling before the match starts with Grayson and Kazarian wrestling in the center of the ring. Kazarian begins with a lariat and Sky tags in. Kazarian hits a German suplex and Sky lands a dropkick on Uno. Sky traps Grayson and hits a pair of knife-edge chops. Kazarian tags in and hits both a body slam and then a springboard leg drop. Grayson drives Kazarian to the corner and Uno gets into the ring. Kazarian fends off both Uno and Grayson and sends them out of the ring.

Kazarian jumps to the outside and Grayson catches him with Uno sending Kazarian to the corner post, leading to several Dark Order members attacking Kazarian. Kazarian is sent to the center of the ring and kicks out at one. Grayson tags in and starts assaulting Kazarian. Uno returns and is raking Kazarian’s back. Grayson and Uno keep tagging in and out, attacking Kazarian. Grayson is relentless and goes for multiple pinfalls, but Kazarian kicks out each time. Uno tags in and hits a knife-edge chop to Kazarian into the corner. Kazarian tries to tag in, but is sent back to the corner by Dark Order. Kazarian fights off Dark Order and manages to tag in Sky. Sky hits a dropkick on Uno and then a Manhattan drop to Grayson. Sky goes for a sunset flip pinfall and Uno kicks out.

Sky gives Kazarian a chance to get some action in, but Uno joins in the action and is able to hit some moves on Sky, but wasn't able to secure the three-count when he goes for the pin. Uno lifts Sky and sends him to Grayson, who hits a powerbomb, but Sky kicks out. Sky monkey flips Kazarian and hits a double lariat on both Grayson and Uno. Several Dark Order members hit Sky and Uno was able to break up a pin and Grayson pins Sky for the win.

Winner: Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

After the match, both Sky and Kazarian are attacked by Dark Order, but Colt Cabana runs in for the save. Cabana and Grayson briefly brawl before several Dark Order members surround him and attack Cabana. Music plays and a hooded figure arrives. It was revealed to be Daniels and flies into the ring, saving Sky, Kazarian and Cabana.

We turn things over to Jurassic Express, who are asked what they are most excited about the pay-per-view and Luchasaurus said he's keeping an eye out for the Cody vs. MJF match. Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone join Excalibur on commentary.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Jake Hager

Rhodes jumps up and Hager catches him, sending him to the corner. The two brawl, but Hager hits a backdrop suplex. Hager and Rhodes trade shots and Rhodes sends him out of the ride. Rhodes then sends Hager over the guardrail and continues attacking Hager among the crowd. Both men return ringside and Rhodes uses the corner post to inflict damage onto Hager’s left arm. Hager returns to the ring, but Rhodes quickly clotheslines him to the outside. Hager drops Rhodes onto the ring apron and lands a running lariat. Hager brings Rhodes back to the ring for a pin, but Rhodes kicks out. Hager then starts working on Rhodes’ left arm and controls Hager’s wrist. Rhodes gets out and hits a couple of boots to Hager’s midsection.

Rhodes runs the ropes and Hager hits an elbow. Rhodes escapes a hold by stomping on Hager’s foot but Rhodes is sent to the outside once again. Rhodes explodes with a small flurry of offense, including a lariat on Hager on the apron. Both men are back outside and Rhodes hits Hager with a big boot. Both men are in the ring and Rhodes has another flurry of offense, hitting Hager with a powerslam, but Hager kicks out when Rhodes went for the pin. Hager is hanging on to dear life on the ropes Rhodes throws a couple of body punches. Hager recovers and does a chop block to Rhodes’ left knee. Hager misses with the Vader Bomb, but eventually connects on his second attempt, but Rhodes kicks out at two. Hager throws Rhodes to the corner and lands a pair of running clotheslines.

Hager connects with a gutwrench powerbomb and can only get a two-count from the referee when he went for the pin. Rhodes throws Hager outside the ring and his head hits the ring apron. Rhodes lands multiple right hands and a Code Red. Rhodes goes for the pin and Hager kicks out. Rhodes then tries to apply a cross armbreaker and Hager reverses it into an ankle lock. Rhodes escapes, but Hager hits a low blow while the referee’s view was obstructed. Hager puts Rhodes to sleep and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Jake Hager

AEW announces Blood & Guts, taking place on the March 25 episode of AEW Dynamite in Newark, New Jersey.

Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin

Before the match starts, Allin suicides dive through the middle ropes onto Guevara on the outside. Allin hits a shotgun dropkick and throws Guevara to the guardrails. Guevara manages to escape another dropkick and throws Allin to the guardrails. Allin drops Guevara on the railing. Allin gets into the ring and does a suicide dive to the outside onto Guevara but misses almost entirely because his foot hit the ropes. Guevara gets up and throws Allin’s skateboard to him. Guevara brings out a table and sets it outside of the ring. Guevara places Allin onto the table and goes to the top rope and hits a 630 senton to Allin through the table. Allin is being tended to outside of the ring.

The match officially begins and Guevara hits a running knee to Allin and goes for the pin. Allin kicks out at two, but Guevara stays on the attack, slapping his opponent. Allin blocks another slap and went from trying to go for a Gory special into a Fujiwara armbar. Guevara recovers and hits a diving stomp onto Allin on the apron. Allin kicks out at two. Allin eventually wins the match with a Coffin Drop.

Winner: Darby Allin

AEW Tag Team Championships: Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

Omega and Nick Jackson start wrestling, vying for wrist control. Nick leapfrogs over Omega and hits a hip toss onto Omega. Page and Matt Jackson wrestle and the two also start off looking for wrist control. Matt and Page scramble on the mat, looking to assert their mat wrestling dominance. Matt extends his hand to shake Page’s, but Page responds by spitting Matt. Matt goes for a double leg sweep and Matt is striking away at Page. Nick keeps Matt from getting them both disqualified and Nick tags in while Matt cools off. Page and Nick trade kicks. Matt tags in and hits an elevated dropkick to Page. Page is in the Bucks’ corner, but the Bucks hit a twisting neckbreaker on Page.

Page goes on offense and works on Matt’s back, hitting several knees onto a downed Matt. Omega tags in and hits a backbreaker on Matt, goes for a pin, but Matt kicks out at two. Page tags in and sends Matt to the outside, then to the rails. Page looked like he was going to hit Matt with the bell, but Omega stops him from doing so. Matt is sent back to the ring and Omega and Page land multiple chops onto Matt. Matt tries to go for a Northern Lights suplex onto both, but after initially failing on doing so, he manages to connect in onto both Omega and Page. Nick tags in and hits various knees and a double bulldog on the champions. Nick takes out Omega to the outside and hits a facebuster on Page. Nick locks in a Scorpion Death Lock, but Omega breaks up the submission to save his partner. Omega tags into the match and Matt works on Omega’s back. Omega went for a tope con hilo but Matt superkicks Omega before he left the ring.

Nick returns and has Omega in a headlock. The Bucks hit a double Irish whip on Omega, but Omega manages to get Nick out of the ring and Matt spits at Page in the corner. Omega went for a tag, but Nick pulls Page out of the corner and Omega is still the legal man. Matt hits a jumping piledriver onto Omega, but Omega kicks out at two. Nick tags in and tries to stop Omega from tagging in Page. Omega is hit with a spinebuster from Omega and Page enters the match once more. Page goes on the offensive on both of his opponents, hits a fallaway slam on Matt. Page goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault on the Bucks. Page brings Nick into the rick and hits a running lariat. Nick is thrown into the corner and Page tells Matt to tag in, which he does. Page and Matt stare at each other and later, trade punches in the center of the ring.

Matt runs the ropes and Page hits a big boot. Omega tags in, lifts Matt onto Page who connects with a suplex. Omega hits a Dr. Wily Bomb, but Matt kicks out. Page and Nick tag in for their respective teams. Nick strikes Page and superkicks Omega. Page throws Nick onto the outside, but Nick lands on his feet and connects on a Destroyer, but Page kicks out at two. Page is held up by Matt and Nick kicks Page’s face in the corner. The Bucks isolate Page, but Page manages to attack both of his opponents and locks in a submission on Matt. Matt rolls out of harm’s way and Nick connects on a 450 splash, but Page kicks out at two when Matt went for the pin. Matt fails to hit More Bang For Your Buck, but the champions have some tandem offense on Matt.

Page hits a shooting star suplex from the top rope, but Nick kicks out at two. Omega lands a V-Trigger, but Matt breaks up the ensuing pin attempt. Omega lands a V-Trigger on Nick and Matt. Omega hits Nick with a Tiger Driver 98, but Nick kicks out at two. Omega hits one more V-Trigger on the back of Nick’s head. Page enters the fray with a clothesline, but Matt lands multiple Northern Lights suplexes on Page onto the ramp. The Bucks hit an Indietaker on Page onto the entrance ramp. The Bucks return to the ring and superkick Omega multiple times. The Bucks hit a Golden Trigger and Omega kicks out at one.

Matt stomps on Omega’s right shoulder and Nick heads into the ring to calm down Matt. Matt lifts Omega up and Nick tries to go for the Meltzer Driver, but Page catches Nick and powerbombs Nick through a table. Both Omega and Page hit a V-Trigger/Buckshot Lariat combo on Matt and Matt kicks out at two. Omega tries to go for a One-Winged Angel, but Matt escapes and superkicks Omega. Page tags in and hits a One-Winged Angel on Matt, but Nick breaks up the pin. Page hits a pair of Buckshot Lariat on the Bucks, pins Matt to retain the titles.

Winners: Kenny Omega & Hangman Page to retain the AEW Tag Team Championships

After the match, Page won't shake the Young Bucks' hand. He teases a Buckshot Lariat on Omega, and gets a beer from a fan after the match.

AEW Women's World Championship: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Kris Statlander

Rose and Statlander lock up to start the match and Rose switches into a side headlock. Statlander leapfrogs over Rose and the two trade shoulder tackles. Rose takes down Statlander on her second shoulder tackle and Statlander misses with the step-up enziguri. Statlander hits a standing moonsault, but Rose kicks out. Rose strikes Statlander with an elbow strike and both women are on the outside. Statlander misses with the spear through the middle ropes and Rose stomps on the challenger, throwing her back into the ring. Rose hits her own spear through the middle ropes and Statlander manages to kick out at two.

Statlander gets hit with a pair of lariats from Rose and Statlander kicks out at two. Rose picks up Statlander and throws her onto the corner turnbuckles. Statlander recovers hits a couple of elbow strikes and kicks Rose’s jaw. Statlander connects on a couple of right hands and elbow strikes, followed by another enziguri, which sends Rose to the outside. Statlander connects on a tope suicida to Rose, gets back up and does another one. Rose returns to the ring and Statlander hits a top rope dropkick, but Rose kicks out at two. The two women trade corner lariats. Rose lands a clothesline across Statlander’s shoulders. Statlander recovers, goes for an inside cradle, then a kick and a DDT to Rose, but Rose kicks out. Rose counters into an STF lock to Statlander. Rose eventually lets go of the hold, but Statlander is hit with a big powerbomb. Both women go to the top rope and Statlander connects on an Avalanche Brainbuster, but Rose still kicks out. Rose hits a big boot to Statlander’s jaw and the two women go to the top rope again. Statlander goes for a hurricanrana, but Rose blocks it and hits a top rope powerbomb, pinning her to retain the title.

Winner: Nyla Rose to retain the AEW Women's Championship

Cody (with Arn Anderson) vs. MJF (with Wardlow)

​​​​​MJF ducks under Cody’s right-hand punch to start the match and leaves the ring. Cody grabs the MJF’s leg, but MJF escapes. Cody tries to go for a powerslam, but MJF hangs onto the ropes to avoid trouble. MJF leaves the ring and ringside and goads Cody to leave the ring as well. Anderson keeps Cody from leaving the ring and MJF splashes a fan with a beverage. MJF slowly returns to the ring and the two men exchange right hands. Cody hits an uppercut on MJF and MJF kicks out when Cody goes for a pin. MJF is on the outside and Cody runs from the entrance ramp the full length to hit a clothesline on MJF, but MJF kicks out.

Cody keeps the offense going, hitting an Alabama Slam after a long airplane spin. Cody then hits MJF with multiple right hands. Wardlow gets MJF out of the ring and Brandi Rhodes responds by throwing beer to Wardlow. Cody hits a tope suicida to Wardlow to take him out of the equation. MJF is back into the ring works Cody’s left arm with an assist from Wardlow. MJF throws Cody left shoulder first into the ring post. MJF hits a powerbomb on Cody and Cody kicks out at two. MJF throws Cody into the corner and goes for another pin, which Cody kicks out. MJF continues to target Cody’s left arm, dealing damage to it. Cody escapes the hold by pressing his face to the bottom rope and break the count. MJF is trying to take out Cody’s right boot because of Cody’s injured right toe. MJF then proceeds to bite the injured toe.

MJF goes to the top rope and Cody quickly drops him onto the turnbuckle. Cody hits a clubbing blow to MJF’s back and goes to the top rope, connecting with a reverse vertical suplex. Cody lands a disaster kick and Wardlow comes in to distract Cody. Anderson brings out a chair and threatens Wardlow with it. MJF is busted open and bleeding profusely from his forehead. MJF is thrown onto the steel steps and back into the ring. Cody goes for a powerslam and MJF kicks out at two when Cody goes for the pin. Cody channels Randy Orton and tries to go for a draping DDT, but MJF escapes and plants Cody, looking for a pin. Brandi goes for a crossbody on Wardlow, but Wardlow catches Brandi. Cody tries to kick Wardlow, but Wardlow gets out of the way and accidentally kicks Anderson. MJF hits a low blow on Cody, going for a pin, but Cody kicks out at two.

Both men go outside when Cody tries to suplex MJF out of the ring. The match nearly goes to a double countout, but the two competitors get back into the ring on time and start trading punches. Cody goes for a bionic elbow, but MJF drops onto the mat beforehand. MJF reverses Cody’s Cross Rhodes with a Double Cross and Cody kicks out. MJF takes Cody’s weight belt and nearly hits Cody with it, but the referee takes it away, giving Cody a chance to hit a low blow, but MJF kicks out. Cody has the weight belt and hits MJF with it. Cody pleads with the referee for one more hit with the belt and the referee lets him.

MJF crawls onto Cody’s feet and hugs him before spitting him. Cody hits Cross Rhodes, but instead of pinning him, Cody hits another Cross Rhodes. MJF counters a third Cross Rhodes by hitting Cody with his ring and MJF drops onto Cody. The referee considers that a pin and counts to three to give MJF the win.

Winner: MJF

PAC vs. Orange Cassidy

Cassidy tries to put his hands in his pocket but PAC blocks him and drops PAC onto the mat. The two trade their “devastating” leg kicks and PAC shoves Cassidy to the floor. Cassidy runs the ropes and hip tosses PAC. Cassidy goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out and hits Cassidy with a backbreaker. Both men are outside of the ring, and PAC throws Cassidy to the barricade. PAC body slams Cassidy in the ring and PAC goes to the rope to connect with the shotgun dropkick. PAC hits Cassidy with multiple kicks and a powerbomb, but Cassidy still manages to kick out. 

PAC the hoists Cassidy up on the top rope and hits an Avalanche Brainbuster. PAC goes for the pin, but breaks up the pin himself at two. PAC drags Cassidy to the corner to set up the Black Arrow. Cassidy rolls out of harm’s way and out of the ring. PAC brings Cassidy back into the ring and Cassidy rolls out of the ring once again. Cassidy is back into the ring and hits tope suicida on PAC, followed by a top rope dropkick and a DDT, going for a pin, but PAC kicks out. PAC connects with a big lariat, followed by an elbow strike. Cassidy gets back up and drops PAC with a Superman Punch, then a stunner. PAC drops Cassidy onto the top turnbuckle and goes to the rope. Cassidy hits another DDT and goes to the top rope with a diving DDT. Cassidy eventually hits PAC with an Air Raid Crash, but the Lucha Bros arrive, causing a distraction by fighting Best Friends. PAC takes advantage and locks in the Brutaliser, forcing Cassidy to submit.

Winner: PAC

AEW World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jon Moxley

The match starts with both men punching away at each other and Moxley throws Jericho out of the ring. As Jericho paces himself around ringside, Moxley runs in and clotheslines Jericho. Jericho and Moxley then fight among the crowd at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The two men walk up the stairs and Moxley throws several right-hand punches. Moxley applies the sleeper hold, but Moxley gets out. Jericho takes an AEW camera and throws the middle finger at him. Moxley throws Jericho to the entrance ramp followed by a pair of right hands. Moxley hits Jericho with some chops and bites Jericho to try and take out his stitches from the cut he received earlier this week. 

Jericho throws Moxley to the corner post and Moxley is bleeding. Jericho is now on offense, landing several right hands and a powerbomb, dropping Moxley on top of the timekeeper’s bell. Moxley drags himself to the ring and Jericho continues to attack Moxley. Jericho goes outside and rings the bell to declare himself the winner, but obviously, the match is still going on. Jericho catapults Moxley throat-first into the bottom rope. Moxley recovers and throws several chops to Jericho, but Jericho throws Moxley onto the corner. Moxley is on the outside with Santana & Ortiz attacking Moxley while Jericho distracts the referee.

Moxley is then sent to the steel steps and the referee starts the 10-count for Moxley. Moxley beats the count, but Jericho is quick to stomp away at the challenger once Moxley re-enters the ring. Jericho goes for a pin and Moxley kicks out. Moxley is on the corner and Jericho has his turn at throwing chops across Moxley’s chest. Both men are on the top rope and Jericho is attempting a superplex, but Moxley counters and hits a diving lariat to Le Champion. Moxley hits Jericho with various lariats, kicks and stomps. Moxley goes for a dropkick, but Jericho tries to counter it into a Lion Tamer. Moxley reverses it to escape the submission hold. Moxley knee strikes Jericho, but Jericho kicks out when Moxley went for the pin. Santana & Ortiz distract Moxley with Ortiz hitting Moxley with the sock full of baseballs. Jericho goes for the lionsault and Moxley kicks out of the ensuing pin.

Jericho tries to go for the Walls of Jericho, Moxley reverses it and transitions it into his own Walls of Jericho. Jake Hager runs in to make a distraction, but Moxley dispatches Hager. Jericho applies the Walls of Jericho, but Moxley eventually drags himself to the bottom rope and escapes. Moxley hits a clothesline on Jericho and Moxley gets hit with a right hand from Hager. The referee throws Santana, Ortiz and Hager out of the match. Guevara arrives out of nowhere, hits Moxley with the championship belt. Jericho and Moxley are down, but Jericho slowly crawls for a pin and Moxley kicks out. Moxley takes Jericho’s punches and forearm strikes and gets back up, with an exchange of blows to follow. Jericho gouges Moxley’s left eye and now Jericho is taunting him. Jericho misses the Judas Effect and Moxley takes out his eye patch, hits the Paradigm Shift and pins Jericho to become the new AEW World Champion.

Winner: Jon Moxley and becomes the new AEW World Champion

Moxley celebrates in the center of the ring and cuts a promo, starting with "I love this shit!" Moxley says the fans are the energy that fuels AEW and that he wanted to bring pro wrestling back to the people. The new champion adds that the AEW Championship doesn't just belong to him, but it belongs to everyone in the AEW audience. Moxley says he's not hiding behind the belt and will fight anyone, but now it's time to drink.
