Match By Match Recap

Darby Allin vs. Anthony Henry

The match begins with Henry catching Allin with a pin attempt just as the bell rings, Allin catches Henry with a springboard arm drag. Allin knocks Henry out of the ring before hitting him with a coffin drop, Allin brings Henry in the ring for a near fall. Allin goes to the top rope and Henry crotches him, Henry then hits Allin with a back suplex from the middle rope for a near fall. Henry stomps away on a downed Allin before chopping him in the corner, Henry traps the arm of Allin before nailing him with a kick to that arm and then landing a drop kick. Henry wrenches on the hurt arm of Allin, Henry charges at Allin and he gets caught with a boot to the face.

Allin looks for the backslide and Henry counters by smashes his shoulder on the ring mat for a near fall, Henry taunts Allin before nailing him with a forearm strike. Henry goes for a pump handle slam and Allin counters with a rolling cradle for a two count, Allin looks for a few headbutts and Henry catches him with a knee strike. Henry then hits Allin with a TKO along the top rope and Allin falls to the arena floor, Henry then hits Allin with a suicide dive. Allin is tossed into the ring and he gets hit with a frog splash from Henry for the near fall, Henry locks Allin in the regal stretch. Allin breaks the hold by turning it into a pin attempt, Henry then hits Allin with a German suplex followed by a power bomb for a two count.

Henry locks Allin in the Texas cloverleaf and Allin gets to the ropes to break it, Henry nails a pleading Allin with a back breaker. Henry places Allin on the top rope and he attacks him with a variety of strikes, Allin fights back with a head butt that drops Henry. Allin nails Henry with another Coffin Drop for the three count.

Winner: Darby Allin

Nathan Cruz vs. Jason Kincaid

The match begins with Cruz catching Kincaid in a headlock, Kincaid breaks free and he wrenches on the arm of Cruz. Cruz breaks free and he works on the arm of Kincaid as well, Kincaid does a series of reversals before catching Cruz with a hip toss. Cruz goes for the arm of Kincaid again and Kincaid escapes to again work on his arm, Cruz responds by hitting Kincaid with a European uppercut. Kincaid does a series of reversals that ends with him in a praying position, Cruz taunts Kincaid and he gets nailed with a spin kick. Cruz rolls to the ring apron before Kincaid nails him with a springboard forearm strike, Cruz gets trapped in the ropes and Kincaid nails him with a 619. Cruz is thrown back in the ring and he kicks a flying Kincaid out of the ring, Cruz follows Kincaid outside the ring to attack him.

Cruz throws Kincaid into the ring to apply the sleeper hold, Kincaid breaks free and Cruz nails him with a slingshot back suplex for a near fall. Cruz then hits a dazed Kincaid with a pair of knee strikes, Kincaid tries fighting back and Cruz nails him with a drop kick to the back. Cruz applies the chin lock to a downed Kincaid, Kincaid starts fighting back again and Kincaid nails Cruz with a knee strike to the face. Kincaid then catches Cruz with a power slam that is followed by a double stomp and springboard drop kick for a near fall. Cruz nails Kincaid and he looks for a springboard hold and he instead eats a springboard clothesline, Kincaid looks for something and Cruz counters with a code breaker for a near fall.

Cruz gets Kincaid on his shoulders and Kincaid grabs the ropes to break free, Kincaid then hits Cruz with a sunset flip into the turnbuckles. Kincaid looks for a springboard and Cruz rolls out of the ring, Kincaid does a springboard drop kick onto an outside of the ring Cruz. Kincaid brings Cruz into the ring and Kincaid nails him with a twisting springboard ace crusher for a near fall, Kincaid misses a double stomp from the top of the ring post. Cruz hits Kincaid with the Show Is Stolen and then Cruz Control to force a tap out.

Winner: Nathan Cruz

 

DUSTIN w/Drew Galloway vs. Fred Yehi

The battle begins with DUSTIN jumping Yehi as the bell sounds, DUSTIN brings Yehi in the corner to stomp on him for a few moments. DUSTIN then hits Yehi with a few forearm strikes to the face, Yehi recovers and he nails DUSTIN with a basement drop kick. Yehi trips up DUSTIN before stomping in his knee cap, DUSTIN rolls out of the ring to catch his breathe. DUSTIN returns to the ring and he eats chops from Yehi, DUSTIN drops down for something and Yehi stomps on his hand. Yehi follows that up by nailing DUSTIN with a drop kick for a near fall, Yehi places DUSTIN in the corner before nailing him with some more chops. Yehi follows DUSTIN around the ring while assaulting him with more chops, DUSTIN tries fighting back and Yehi drops him with a forearm strike followed by a suplex.

Yehi goes for a pin before twisting and wrenching the neck of DUSTIN, Yeho decides to follow that up by tying DUSTIN up into a pretzel like form. Yehi releases the hold before stomping on the legs of DUSTIN, Yehi is sent out of the ring by DUSTIN and DUSTIN follows up by hitting him with a baseball slide drop kick. DUSTIN follows Yehi out of the ring before throwing him into the barricade, DUSTIN throws Yehi into the ring apron before bringing him back into the ring. DUSTIN follows that up by stomping on the hands of Yehi, DUSTIN nails Yehi with an elbow drop for a two count. DUSTIN brings Yehi to the corner before nailing him with a few punches and a kick to the face, DUSTIN nails Yehi with a butterfly suplex before taunting the crowd. Yehi tries fighting back and DUSTIN decides to drop him on the top rope, DUSTIN drops Yehi to stomp on him a little bit.

Yehi fights back again and DUSTIN nails him with strikes, Yehi goes for a pin attempt and DUSTIN catches him with an inzaguri. Yehi finally slows DUSTIN down by catching him with a release German suplex, Yehi starts hitting DUSTIN with a few forearm strikes. Yehi then hits DUSTIN with a series of release German suplexes, Yehi then hits DUSTIN with a roaring elbow for a two count. DUSTIN nails a charging Yehi with a knee to the face, DUSTIN then hits Yehi with a super kick and a DDT for a near fall. Yehi recovers and gets to the top rope, DUSTIN meets him up there and he nails Yehi with a top rope belly to belly suplex that takes them both out. DUSTIN gets up first and he attacks Yehi with forearm strikes, Yehi responds by nailing DUSTIN with chops and stomps. DUSTIN recovers and hits a charging Yehi with a pop up power bomb, DUSTIN goes for the Awful Waffle and Yehi counters with a Koji Clutch to force a tap out.

Winner: Fred Yehi

Bunk & Funk (CT Brown & Rex Bacchus) vs. The Gatekeepers w/Ethan Page

The match begins with The Gatekeepers jumping their opponents before the bell sounds, Bacchus is hit with an elevated power bomb by one of The Gatekeepers. Brown tags in and he lands no effective offense on one of The Gatekeepers, the other member of The Gatekeepers levels Brown with a clothesline. The Gatekeepers nail Brown with their finisher and the three count follows.

Winners: The Gatekeepers w/Ethan Page

Ethan Page grabs the microphone and he says that he will win the Evolve Championship tonight, Page then calls Thatcher a failure. Page then mocks the lack of social media usage and interaction Thatcher has with the fans, Page says everybody will be reminded of how awesome he is tonight. Thatcher hits the ring and he demands the title match should happen right now, which leads us to...

Evolve Championship Match: Timothy Thatcher (Champion) vs. Ethan Page w/The Gatekeepers

The title match begins with Page tying himself up in the ropes to avoid Thatcher, Page runs out of the ring to avoid Thatcher as well. Page returns to the ring and he nails Thatcher with a kick to the midsection, Thatcher brings Page to the ground with a front headlock. Thatcher gets back control on Page and Page gets to the ropes to break the hold, Thatcher trips up Page and he locks for a cloverleaf. Page scramble to his feet to hit Thatcher with a few forearm strikes, Thatcher regains control and he holds Page in a front face lock. Page breaks free and he hits Thatcher with a suplex, Page then hits a dazed Thatcher with a punch to the face. Thatcher trips up Page again and he wrenches away at his leg, Thatcher rolls for the ankle lock and Page gets to the ropes to break the hold. Page stands up and Thatcher cracks him with knee strikes and European uppercuts, Thatcher hits Page with a suplex for a near fall. Thatcher then locks Page in the straight arm bar, Thatcher drops Page again and he applies the hammerlock to him.

Thatcher goes for the arm bar and Page rolls him up for a pin attempt, Page gets up and Thatcher chases him around while in the seated position. Page rolls out of the ring to catch a breather, Page returns to the ring and Thatcher nails Page with several knee strikes. Page goes down and Thatcher attacks him with more knee strikes, Thatcher goes back to work on the arm of Page. Thatcher releases the hold and he attacks Page with more knee strikes, Page backs Thatcher into the corner before nailing him with chops and forearm strikes. Page then hits Thatcher with iconoclasm for the two count, Page looks for a rope assisted move and Thatcher catches him with a knee strike. Thatcher and Page stand on the ring apron to exchange strikes, Page eventually nails Thatcher with a DDT onto the ring apron. Page then hits Thatcher with a double under hook back breaker while on the arena floor, Page rams Thatcher into the ringside edge a few times. Thatcher tries fighting back with a plethora of forearm strikes, Thatcher gets back into the ring first and The Gatekeepers toss Page into the ring. Thatcher then hits Page with a few gut wrench suplexes, Thatcher goes for the pin and then some more gut wrench suplexes on Page. Thatcher goes for the cross arm breaker and Page gets to the ropes to break it up, Page kicks Thatcher and hits him with RK-Ego.

Thatcher gets up and he angrily nails Page with a few strikes, Thatcher then hits Page with a running European uppercut. Page hits Thatcher with a bicycle kick and Thatcher responds by nailing him with a head butt, Page rolls to the ring apron and the two wrestlers exchange forearm strikes. Thatcher and Page both start climbing to the top rope, the two men continue exchange strikes on the top rope. Page eventually catches Thatcher with an ace crusher from the middle rope for a near fall, Page goes for a package pile driver and Thatcher backs him into the referee to knock him out. Page then kicks Thatcher in the testicles, The Gatekeepers the ring and they hold Thatcher. Thatcher fights back against both Page and The Gatekeepers, Page then hits Thatcher with the Evolve title to get a near fall. Page then knocks out a second referee with a forearm strike, Page grabs a rope and he tries choking Thatcher with it, Thatcher breaks free andhe hits Page with a head butt for a near fall. Thatcher locks in the fujiwara arm bar and Page escapes with a roll up, Thatcher locks in the arm bar again and a tap out follows.

Winner: Timothy Thatcher, still your Evolve Champion

After the match, Stokeley Hathaway comes to ringside and he says that he has been studying Timothy Thatcher lately, Hathaway offers to take care of the legal side of things for Hathaway while showing him some beautiful ladies as they make it rain. Hathaway talks about all the success he had managing TJ Perkins and how that got him in the WWE, Hathaway says that he wants to form a dream team with Thatcher. Hathaway says nothing and simply walks backstage, Hathaway follows with a few ladies following him as well. 

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Tracy Williams w/Fred Yehi

The match begins with Williams attempting to work over the arm of Sabre Jr., Sabre Jr. drags Williams to the mat and he controls his head. Williams gets to his feet and he briefly trips up Sabre Jr., Williams catches Sabre Jr. in the head scissors and Sabre Jr. eventually escapes. Sabre Jr. grabs Williams and he applies the full Nelson on him, Williams escapes and Sabre Jr. drags him to the mat while controlling his legs. Williams gets up and Sabre Jr. trips him up for a two count, Williams traps both arms of Sabre Jr. before getting a pin attempt. Sabre Jr. takes Williams down with a headlock and he works on his arm as well, both wrestlers lock each other in a head scissors like hold. Williams escapes and he nails Sabre Jr. with an elbow drop before awkwardly bending his opponent, Sabre Jr. scrambles to his feet.

Sabre Jr. catches Williams in the headlock before dropping him with a snap mare, Williams reverses Sabre Jr. and he wrenches away on his arm. Williams is pretty much countering everything Sabre Jr. attempts to do to him, Sabre Jr. escapes and he cranks away on his neck. Sabre Jr. sits on Williams while twisting his neck in awkward positions, Sabre Jr. gets up and he nails Williams with a few European uppercuts. Sabre Jr. keeps Williams down and he rips away at his arm, Sabre Jr. grinds the face of Williams with his forearm before pulling both of his arms backwards. Williams escapes with an arm drag to get a two count, Williams goes for a rear naked choke and Sabre Jr. gets to the ropes to break the hold.

Williams brings Sabre Jr. to the corner before assaulting him with chops, Williams drags Sabre Jr. to the ground and he wrenches away on the injured arm of his foe. Williams then locks Sabre Jr. in the bow and arrow stretch, Sabre Jr. breaks free to stomp on the bent arm of Williams. Sabre Jr. brings Williams to the corner before crushing his face against the middle turnbuckle, Williams gets mad and he attacks Sabre Jr. with chops and a forearm strike. Sabre Jr. slows William down and he holds him down with a head scissors, Williams uses a pin attempt and Sabre Jr. refuses to release the hold. Sabre Jr. then pulls on the arm of Williams and Williams scrambles to the ropes, Sabre Jr. attempts a chin lock and Williams grabs the ropes again. Williams recovers to slam Sabre Jr. and then nail him with a double stomp, Sabre Jr. recovers and he locks Williams in a modified abdominal stretch. Sabre Jr. releases that hold in order to lock Williams in the cravat, Williams breaks free and he stomps on the back of Sabre Jr..

Williams brings Sabre Jr. into the corner before attacking him with more chops, Williams then hits Sabre Jr. with a running clothesline in the corner. Sabre Jr. rolls to the ring apron and Williams throws him back into the ring, Sabre Jr. charges at Williams and Williams locks him in the cross face. Williams eats a few shots before hitting Sabre Jr. with a high angle suplex for the near fall, Williams waits for Sabre Jr. to stand up before dropping him with a kick to the face. Williams then kicks a seated Sabre Jr. a few times in the back to get a few near falls, Williams then hits Sabre Jr. with a few head butts to his midsection. Williams rolls for a knee bar and Sabre Jr. counters to an arm bar, Williams then counters again into a cross face. Sabre Jr. counters again and he locks Williams in a kimura, Williams eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold.

The wrestlers attack each other with forearm strikes until Sabre Jr. goes down a few times, Williams goes for something and Sabre Jr. counters with a dragon suplex into the dragon sleeper. Williams escapes and he holds Sabre Jr. in the ankle lock, Sabre Jr. counters into an octopus stretch and Williams counters with a back breaker into a German suplex. Williams looks for a pile driver and Sabre Jr. counters with a jackknife cradle for the two count, Williams gets up and he nails Sabre Jr. with multiple chops. Sabre Jr. recovers and he nails Williams with a Sabre Driver and penalty kick for the near fall, Williams then counters Sabre Jr. into the abdominal stretch and Sabre Jr. eventually does the same to him. Sabre Jr. drops to the mat and he locks the knee bar on Williams, Williams applies an ankle lock to Sabre Jr. at the same time. Williams chops away at Sabre Jr. and he applies the ankle lock again, Sabre Jr. kicks away at Williams to break everything up. The wrestlers get up and Williams nails Sabre Jr. with a bunch of European uppercuts and forearm strikes, Sabre Jr. catches Williams in a flying triangle choke.

Williams breaks the hold by nailing Sabre Jr. with a power bomb, Sabre Jr. goes for something and Williams nails him with a pile driver for a two count. Williams waits for Sabre Jr. to stand before catching him with a head butt, Williams and Sabre Jr. also exchange forearm strikes. Sabre Jr. trips up Williams and he applies the double arm bar and a tap out follows.

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr.

Chris Hero vs. Drew Gulak

The match begins with Hero working over the arm of Gulak, Gulak reverses things and he works over the arm of Hero as well. Hero trips up Gulak and both men get back to their feet, Gulak takes Hero down with a headlock and Hero is quick to escape. Hero gets behind Gulak and he drops him and works over his back, Hero goes back to work on the arm of Gulak. Hero grabs the hands of Gulak and he cracks away on them, Hero then pulls the arms of Gulak backwards. Hero trips up Gulak and he wrenches away on his head as well, Gulak reverses Hero and he pulls his arms over his head while going for the pin. Hero escapes and both wrestlers get back to their feet, Gulak locks Hero in the headlock and he drags him back to the mat. Hero gets up with Gulak still holding onto the headlock, Hero gets to the ropes and he pounds Gulak with a right. Gulak recovers quickly and he drags Hero back to the ground with a headlock, Hero again gets to the ropes to break the hold. Hero causes Gulak to stumble after landing another punch to his face, the wrestlers exchange chops in the middle of the ring.

Hero then hits Gulak with a bicycle kick, but Gulak recovers quickly to hit Hero with a series of drop kicks. Hero traps Gulak on the ring apron and he kicks Gulak off that ring apron and into the barricade, Hero follows Gulak out of the ring before throwing him into the barricade again. Hero nails Gulak with a few more strikes before tossing him into the barricade again, Gulak fights back and Hero retreats into the ring. Hero looks for a slam and Gulak briefly catches him in the dragon sleeper, Hero rolls out of the ring and he nails Gulak with several forearm strikes when he follows him out there. Gulak tries fighting back and Hero lays him out with another forearm strike, Hero waits for Gulak to return to the ring and he catches him with a senton bomb. Hero waits for Gulak to get to his knees before nailing him with a knee strike to the head, Hero picks up Gulak and he drops him with a right hand. Hero continues working over Gulak by kicking him in the head, Gulak looks for a suplex and Hero nails him with a few strikes instead.

Gulak eventually catches Hero with the suplex on his third attempt, Gulak starts fighting back on Hero and he catches him with a trio of atomic drops for a near fall. Gulak traps Hero in the corner before nailing him with a few standing clotheslines, Gulak then hits Hero with a clothesline in the corner. Hero then hits a charging Gulak with the Cyclone Kill for a near fall, Hero then hits a kneeling Gulak with a few boots to the face. Gulak gets up and he drops Hero with a spinning clothesline for a two count, Gulak then kicks away at the head of the kneeling Hero. Hero gets mad and he attacks Gulak with a plethora of strikes, Gulak surprises Hero with a roll up for a two count. Gulak catches Hero in the Gulock from out of nowhere and Hero gets to the ropes to break the hold, Gulak sets up for the pile driver and Hero nearly rolls him up a few times. Hero then hits a ducking Gulak with the short pile driver, Hero spikes Gulak with the Gotch Pile Driver for another near fall. Hero picks up Gulak and he nails him with a few more elbow strikes, Hero then hits Gulak with a roaring elbow to the back of the head for a three count.

Winner: Chris Hero

After the match, Drew Galloway hits the ring to shake the hand of Chris Hero and Hero refuses to shake his hand, Galloway then grabs the microphone and he praises Hero for all of his success in wrestling. Galloway then talks about the folks who are fans of Matthew Riddle, Galloway says he cannot wrestle tonight because Riddle had injured him. Galloway talks about how he cannot compete for another six weeks, Galloway then says that he will be able to return to action in just around two weeks time. Galloway then brings out AR Fox for his main event match.

Matthew Riddle vs. AR Fox

The main event begins with Fox nailing Riddle with a suicide dive during his entrance, Fox then throws Riddle into the barricade a few times. Fox throws Riddle into the ring and Riddle locks him in a rear naked choke from out of nowhere, Fox gets to the ropes to break the hold. Riddle then hits Fox with a few leg kicks before scoring a takedown, Riddle goes for the arm bar and Fox gets to the ropes to break the hold. Riddle traps Fox in the corner and he assaults him with a ton of strikes, Fox recovers and he nails Riddle with the sling blade. Fox then locks Riddle in a modified camel clutch, Fox gets a near fall on Riddle after landing a few more maneuvers.

Riddle tries fighting back and Fox puts him in the corner, Riddle plants Fox on the ring apron before knocking him out of the ring with a springboard knee strike. Riddle follows Fox out of the ring before eating a knee strike, Fox then hits Riddle with Lo Mein Pain before throwing him back into the ring. Fox then nails a downed Riddle with a guillotine leg drop for a two count, Riddle tries fighting back again and Fox drops him with an inzaguri. Riddle finally drops Fox with a brain buster and both men are down, the wrestlers exchange strikes while they are on their knees. Riddle then then hits Fox with an up kick and Bro To Sleep for a near fall, Riddle then hits Fox with multiple knee strikes and multiple gut wrench suplexes as well. Riddle then connects with a German suplex on Fox for a near fall, Riddle assaults Fox with some more knee strikes before kicking him in the back.

Fox recovers and he crushes Riddle with a bicycle kick, Fox then hits Riddle with a springboard ace crusher followed by a swanton bomb for the near fall. Fox misses a 450 splash and Riddle locks him in the Bromission to force a tap out.

Winner: Matthew Riddle

After the match, DUSTIN attacks Riddle with a DDT and Fox joins in on the attack as well, Catch Point come out and they make the save. Drew Gulak grabs the microphone and he wants to make sure that Matthew Riddle is still a part of Catch Point, Riddle says he is before shaking each team members hand.
