IMPACT Wrestling Results for 7/5 Rich Swann vs Fenix, Brian Cage vs Kongo Kong

Rich Swann vs Fenix

Pro Wrestling NOAH Reschedules Mitsuharu Misawa Memorial Show

Fenix takes Rich down to start the match before Fenix gets back to his feet and hits a springboard arm drag that sends Swann out of the ring. When Rich gets back in he hits an arm drag of his own before they both miss several moves including standing moonsaults and dropkicks. Fenix dropkicks Swann our of the ring before Swann hits a moonsault off of the top and onto Fenix at ringside. Once they're back in the ring Fenix misses a moonsault, but hits a rolling cutter for a near fall as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial to the two exchanging slaps across the chest, then Swann hits a Michinoku driver for a near fall before hitting a 450 splash for another near fall. Fenix hits a sit-out tombstone piledriver before catching Rich up top and hitting a spinning Michinoku driver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Fenix defeats Rich Swann via pinfall with the Fire Driver. 

-After the match OvE come out and attack Fenix before Pentagon comes out and sends them out of the ring and to the back as we go to commercial. ​​​​​

Killer Kross vs Fallah Bahh 

Kross beats Bahh down in the corner until the referee pulls him away and just gets aggravated by the chops of Bahh before dropping him with a lariat. Kross then hits a Saito slam before locking in a rear naked choke until the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Killer Kross defeats Fallah Bahh via submission with a rear naked choke.

-After the match Kross chokes out KM before Petey Williams comes and chases him off with a chair as we go to commercial.

- We get a match between Sting and Rob Van Damme on the Global Wrestling Network.

Women's Tag Team Match

All four women brawl as soon as the match starts before Allie and Madison take control and Allie hits a running clothesline in the corner to the undead bridesmaid that is teaming with Su Yung. Su comes in and she and her undead partner double team Allie for a quick two count before Allie fights out of a cravat and tags Madison in. Madison drops the bridesmaid with a series of forearms and a cutter before Allie takes out the other maids at ringside and Madison hits a variation of Cross Rhodes. Tessa Blanchard comes out and attacks Madison after Madison accidentally takes out the referee before Allie sends her out of the ring. Madison then hits another Cross Rhodes, this time on the bridesmaid for the pin and the win.

Winner: Allie and Madison Rayne defeat Su Yung and her undead bridesmaid when Madison hits the maid with a variation of Cross Rhodes. 

-We get a video package for the Desi Hit Squad training, then get a video package for the career of Austin Aries before Tommy Dreamer calls out Eddie Edwards for Slammiversary.

Rebel vs Katarina

Katarina takes Rebel down and puts her in a head scissor before they exchange quick two counts off of sunset flips. Rebel comes back with a flapjack for a quick two count before missing a cartwheel splash in the corner. Katarina hits a frankensteiner for a near fall before missing a splash off of the top. Rebel then gets a quick two count off of a leg drop before Katarina hits a backbreaker for the pin and the win.

Winner: Katarina defeats Rebel via pinfall with a backbreaker.

Brian Cage vs Kongo Kong

Brian dropkicks Kongo before sending him out of the ring and hitting a flipping senton over the top rope and onto Kong on the outside. Kong hits a fall away slam and a running splash in the corner before hitting a huricanrrana when Brian tries to powerbomb him for a near fall. Brian hits a drop toe hold into a 619 before Kong drops him with a headbutt and powerbombs him for a near fall. Kong then goes up top, but Brian catches him and hits a superplex, but Kong is right back up. Brian then hits an F5 for the pin and the win.

Winner: Brian Cage defeats Kongo Kong via pinfall with an F5.

-Konnan comes out to the ring and calls Eddie Kingston out to the ring, but Santana and Ortiz come out with them. Konnan says that he had been there for Eddie his entire life and Eddie asks for proof that he's not being truthful. Konnan says that he didn't make the phone calls from the hospital, Kingston saying that it's Konnan's word against his and that it's his time and Konnan's time is over. Eddie says that he did it for the crew and tells Santana and Ortiz that he's the future and Konnan is the past. Santana and Ortiz then side with Konnan before Homicide and Hernandez come out and attack them as we go off the air with two members of the original LAX standing tall alongside Eddie.
