Tonight after a historic moment Sunday night when the IMPACT and GFW titles were unified and we saw Alberto El Patron defeat Bobby Lashley a new era of IMPACT will begin under the Global Force Wrestling brand. -We open the show with Alberto with his brother and father celebrating his victory Sunday night, Alberto talking about the match and what kind of champion he will be for GFW. Lashley comes out to the ring, all smiles and with open arms before he tells Alberto's dad that he's going to beat both if his sons before his dad slaps Lashley. Security then comes out to separate them all before Alberto takes the bait and accepts the challenge.
Caleb Konley vs Sonjay Dutt
Sonjay takes Caleb down and gets a quick two count to start the show before Caleb gets one of his own. Caleb knees the gut of Dutt before putting him in a cravat, but Dutt powers out of it and hits a forearm only for Caleb to sweep his feet out from under him. Caleb puts a body scissor on Dutt before dropping him with a clothesline for a quick two count. Caleb hits a sunset flip into the turnbuckle for a near fall before Dutt comes back with a Pele kick and a dropkick into a tornado DDT. Dutt then hits a splash off of the top rope for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sonjay Dutt via pinfall
-Trevor Lee attacks Sonjay after the match and holds the belt up before leaving with it.
Chris Adonis, Eli Drake, Fallah Bahh, Mario Bokara, vs VOW, Grado & Eddie Edwards
The faces are in control early until Adonis and Bahh team up on Grado, Bahh tagging in Mario after he drops Grado for a quick two count. Grado crawls over and tags in Eddie after Bahh misses a splash, Eddie sending Bahh out of the ring before clotheslining Mario in the corner. Grado tags in and sends Bahh back out of the ring with an elbow before Eli drops him. VOW then take out Eli before Eddie hits the Boston Knee Party to Adonis for the pin and the win.
Winner: Eddie Edwards, VOW & Grado via pinfall
-After the match Joseph Park comes out to the ring and talks to Grado in the ring before Grado leaves with him, visibly upset about the news that Joseph gave him as we go to commercial.
Matt Sydal vs Braxton Sutter
They lock up to start the match for a clean break before they exchange arm drag takeovers. Sutter hits a gutwrench buster before Sydal comes back with a series of kicks and a leg drop for a quick two count. Sutter then hits a powerslam before Sydal comes back with a roundhouse kick and a shooting star press for the pin and the win.
Winner: Matt Sydal via pinfall
-We get an introduction to all eight men involved in the Super X Cup which includes notable names such as Drago from Lucha Underground and AAA. We also have international talent as Taiji Ishimori from Pro Wrestling NOAH; Taiji having the promotions record for longest reigning Junior Heavyweight Champion. Next we get a video package for the two men involved in the first first round match up next featuring Idris Abraham and Dezmond Xavier.
Idris Abraham vs Dezmond Xavier
They start the match off by exchanging wrist locks and flips before Dezmond hits a huricanrrana before Idris dropkicks Dezmond in midair. Dezmond gets out of the ring before Idris rolls him back in for a quick two count. Idris suplexes Dezmond into the turnbuckle before stomping on him in the corner as we go to commercial.
Dezmond hits Idris with a series of punches in the corner as we come back from commercial, Idris coming back with a rake to the eyes for a quick two count. Dezmond comes back with a series of strikes after a spear before hitting a running forearm in the corner. Dezmond then sends Idris face first into the turnbuckle before hitting a German suplex, Idris coming back with a running forearm of his own. Idris then drops Dezmond with a discus forearm and a single leg basement dropkick before Dezmond hits a Saito suplex and a phoenix splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Dezmond Xavier via pinfall
-We have an interview backstage with Gail Kim who talks about her career, this being her final year and more before we cut to a vignette featuring Naomichi Marufuji from Pro Wrestling NOAH as we go to commercial.
Sienna vs Rebel
Siena is all over Rebel as soon as the match starts, beating on her and tossing her around by her hair before playing to the crowd. Sienna then catches Rebel when she goes for a back flipping elbow in the corner before hitting a German suplex and a Samoan drop for a quick two count. Rebel comes back with a series of strikes before hitting a running back elbow and a running double knees. Rebel hits a hand spring back elbow before Sienna counters a suplex into a guillotine for the tap and the win.
Winner: Sienna via submission
Alberto El Patron vs Lashley Undisputed Unified World Heavyweight Championship Match
AEP kicks Lashley when he misses a splash in the corner and hits him with several punches before Lashley charges out of the corner and knocks AEP over. Lashley tosses AEP out of the ring before beating on him at ringside and sending him shoulder first into the steps. Lashley tosses AEP back into the ring for a series of quick one counts before whipping him hard across the ring, sending him flying off of the turnbuckle. Lashley beats on AEP in the corner before he counters a whip only to be sent over the top rope and out onto the floor as we go to commercial.
Lashley in in control as we come back from commercial, hitting a flat liner before AEP counters a spear and a neckbreaker with a clothesline and a backstabber for a quick two count. They counter each other before Lashley hits a brutal powerbomb for a near fall, then Alberto comes back with an arm breaker only to be hit with a spinebuster for another near fall. AEP counters another spear before hitting a double foot stomp off of the top rope for a near fall of his own. Alberto plays to the crowd before going for a cross arm breaker, but Lashley counters with a neckbreaker before shoulder tackling him in the corner. Lashley puts AEP in the tree of woe before he tries to finish him with his own move, but Alberto tosses him down.
Alberto goes for another double foot stomp, but Lashley spears him in midair before hitting a Dominator. LAX then come in and attack Lashley right as he goes for another spear for the disqualification.
Winner: Lashley via disqualification
-Konnan then gets on the mic and says that Alberto is the newest member of the stable, but Alberto is too out of it to confirm or deny it as we go off the air.
