This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! IMPACT Wrestling On POP! Tonight we have a great show as we kick things off with a main event worthy match as Eddie Edwards welcomes the newcomer Matt Sydal to the IMPACT Wrestling elite. We also have Sienna looking to defeat the GFW Women's Champion Christina Von Eerie and EC3 is in action! Eddie Edwards vs Matt Sydal
They start by exchanging hammer locks and flips before Eddie shows off his power, knocking Matt down repeatedly. Matt comes back and shows off his athleticism, showing off his speed and his dangerous kicks before dropkicking Eddie into the corner. Matt hits Eddie with a running knee in the corner for a quick two count, then locks in a submission before Eddie fights out of it. Eddie hits a blue thunder bomb for a two count of his own, then Matt drops Eddie with a series of kicks, following up with a standing moonsault for a quick two count. Matt hits a frankensteiner for another quick two count, then goes for a springboard, but Eddie sends him to the outside.
Eddie then dives out of the ring onto Matt as we go to commercial.
We come back to Eddie hitting a stunner for a near fall, then Matt comes back and finishes with a shooting star press for the pin and the win.
Winner: Matt Sydal via pinfall
Sienna vs Christina Von Eerie
Sienna is in control early until Eerie drops her into the ropes and hits a big boot from behind before Sienna drops her with a boot for a quick two count. Christina comes back with a series of chops before Sienna dumps her over the top rope and to the floor. Sienna gets her back in the ring and hits the Silencer for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sienna via pinfall
EC3 vs Enhancement Talent
EC3 is all over the guy as soon as the match starts, tying him in the ropes and hitting him with clubbing blows before sending him out of the ring with a knee to the back of the head. EC3 then hits a TK3 and the One Percenter once they're back in the ring for the pin and the win.
Winner: EC3 via pinfall
Magnus vs Matt Morgan GFW World Championship Match
Morgan is in control for at least three minutes until he misses a Carbon Footprint, then Magnus comes back with a series of clubbing blows before sending him out of the ring. They get back in and Matt goes for a chokeslam, but Magnus counters it, then goes up top and Matt catches him coming off of the top rope and hits it that time. Magnus locks in a figure four, but Matt rolls over reversing the pressure before Magnus is quick to the ropes. Magnus goes out of the ring and grabs his belt, then comes back in and low blows Matt as the referee is distracted before hitting a Michinoku Driver and an elbow off of the top rope for the pin and the win.
Winner: Magnus via pinfall
Kongo Kong vs Enhancement Talent
Kong beats on the guy, then smashes into him in the corner repeatedly before hitting two chokebreakers, then a cannon ball in the corner before finishing up with a huge splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kongo Kong via pinfall
-After the match Braxton Sutter comes out and attacks Kongo, but he's quickly dispatched as we go to commercial.
Eli Drake vs Alberto El Patron
They brawl around ringside before the match starts after Tyrus is made to leave by the referee, then Eli hits a suplex on the ramp. Eli sends Alberto back into the ring, but Alberto is quick to send him over the top rope and out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Eli is in control as we come back, hitting a back suplex onto the apron to Alberto before choking him on the floor. Alberto comes back, then Eli sets him on the top rope before Alberto puts him in an armbar before the referee breaks it up. Eli hits a running neckbreaker for a near fall, then hits a leg drop after putting Alberto in the ropes throat first for another near fall. Eli locks in a camel clutch, but he turns it into a pin attempt for a quick two count, then another quick two count when he hits a slam. Alberto hits a step up enzuigiri when he catches Eli on the top rope, then they exchange right hands before Eli beats Alberto down with clubbing blows in the corner.
Alberto comes back with a series of clotheslines and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall, then Drake hits a reverse TKO before Alberto hits a DDT and a superkick for a near fall. Drake hits a pump handle for a near fall, then sets Alberto on the top rope, but he fights him off, then Drake hits a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Alberto rolls Drake up for a near fall, then locks in the cross armbreaker, but Drake picks him up and slams him down before stomping his face. Alberto then hits a double foot stomp using the ropes for the pin and the win.
