IMPACT Wrestling on POP TV Results 4/12 Taya Valkyrie vs Rosemary in a Demon's Dance Match, Moose vs Sami Callihan, Josh Matthews Challenges Petey Williams & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of IMPACT Wrestling on POP TV! Tonight Rosemary looks to vanquish Taya Valkyrie in what she calls a Demon's Dance Match, Moose takes on Sami Callihan, Josh Matthews challenges Petey Williams to a match and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of the action!

-We open the show with a recap of how Alberto El Patron was fired and how Austin Aries will now face Lucha Underground's Pentagon Jr and Fenix in a triple threat match at Redemption. We then get a video package for the IMPACT Wrestling vs Lucha Underground at WrestleCon this past Friday night.

-Eli Drake comes out to the ring and talks about how he has two briefcases now and talks about how he wanted a title shot and went and got one with one of the briefcases. Eli goes on to say that he could get all of the belts in the company before he's interrupted by LAX who are awaiting his tag team partner in their title match at Redemption before Eli leaves the ring and goes up to the ramp. Eli then reveals who his partner is before introducing Scott Steiner who comes out and talks about their match and what he's going to do to LAX. 

Sami Callihan vs Moose

Moose boots Sami as soon as the match starts before hitting a series of splashes in the corner and a headbutt that sends Sami into a heap in the corner. Moose hits a dropkick in the corner before Sami rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, then Moose beats on Sami at ringside before rolling him back into the ring. Sami hits an enzuigiri when Moose tries to get back in the ring and Moose powerbombs him onto the apron twice. They get back in the ring and Sami grabs the referee before hitting a low blow as we go to commercial.
We come back from commercial to Sami in control, Sami dropping Moose with a boot for a quick two count before Moose comes back with a dropkick, then Sami sends Moose into the middle turnbuckle and hits a running knee in the corner. Moose hits a pop-up powerbomb into a senton for a near fall before Moose hits Go to Hell for another near fall. Sami hits a superkick into a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before Moose hits a discus lariat for a near fall, then Sami hits Moose with a bat for the disqualification.

Winner: Moose defeats Sami Callihan via disqualification when Sami hits him with a baseball bat.

-After the match Tommy Dreamer comes out to the ring and saves Moose when Sami continues to hit him before setting up a six-man tag match between oVe and Eddie Edwards, Moose and Tommy Dreamer.

Petey Williams vs Josh Matthews

Josh hesitates to start the match, continuing to stretch before getting out of the ring. Matt distracts Petey before Josh attacks him from behind, but it just angers Petey, Petey chasing Josh around ringside before they get back in the ring and Petey puts Josh in a sharpshooter. Josh manages to get a quick two count before superkicking Matt when he tries to interfere. Matt then attacks Petey once he gets back up for the disqualification.

Winner: Petey Williams defeats Josh Matthews via disqualification when Matt Sydal interferes.

-We get a video package for Brian Cage before getting a backstage interview with Johnny Impact who is interrupted by Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong, setting up a match between them at Redemption.

Six-Man Tag Match

Bahh, Justice and Tyrus clear the ring to start the match before Bahh and Lee shove each other; Bahh knocking Lee over repeatedly before rolling over top of him and playing to the crowd. David comes in and drops both Lee and Caleb before KM tags in drops David with a boot. Cult of KM tag in and out and beat on David in the corner until he finally tags Tyrus in. Tyrus drops KM repeatedly before hitting a slam for a quick two count that Lee breaks up. Tyrus, David and Bahh team up against KM before Bahh squashes KM and sits on him for the pin and the win.

Winner: Fallah Bahh, David Justice & Tyrus defeat The Cult of Lee & KM via pinfall when Bahh squashes KM.

Demon's Dance Match

Rosemary vs Taya Valkyrie

Taya immediately attacks Rosemary as soon as the match starts before they roll out of the ring and brawling at ringside until they tease their finishers and Taya drops Rosemary across the railing. Taya gets chairs out from under the ring before tossing Rosemary back in the ring and beats on her in the corner before putting a chair over her face and hitting running knees in the corner. Rosemary comes back with a roundhouse kick before hitting a Samoan drop onto a chair, then Rosemary gets a ladder out from under the ring and puts it in the ring before setting it up in the corner. Taya hits a suplex and a series of kicks before Rosemary hits an arm drag that sends Taya into the ladder. Rosemary gets a table out from under the ring and puts it in the ring before Rosemary accidentally goes head first into a chair wedged between the turnbuckles.


Taya puts Rosemary on the table before she gets up and they go back and forth on the top turnbuckle before countering each other's finishers. Rosemary then hits a piledriver off of the top and through the table for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rosemary defeats Taya Valkyrie via pinfall with a piledriver through a table.

-We get an extended video package for all of the matches from IMPACT Wrestling vs Lucha Underground at WrestleCon this past Friday night. They then  on to have a video package for Redemption as we go off the air.
