Hey there Fight Fans, we hope you have had an excellent weekend and are ready for IMPACT Wrestling's biggest show of the year, Slammiversary!

Pre-show

-We get a video package for all of the competitors involved in tonight's event. We then move on to an extended video package for the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship match between the champion Brian Cage and the challenger Michael Elgin, including a Fight Network segment called LAX Diary that shows them backstage and traveling before they are seen talking to Fallah Bahh and a couple of other people, talking about how they got their start and about growing up. Santana talks about a backyard wrestling match where he fell on thumb tacks and his mother and sister freaked out before they talk about their barbed wire rope ladder match against OvE. Santana talks to Michael Elgin about Nike shoes before they look at the weapons for a match and Santana talks about an ECW match between Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer where Bully used a cheese grater on Tommy. Konnan meets with them while Ortiz is having dinner before we see them finding out that their match is being moved to the main event spot while the crew are putting the ring together.

Ortiz talks about the kind of mindset he has to be in before a match and how people think that wrestling is fake before Ortiz talks about becoming a father and the effects of that has on you mentally in the ring. Ortiz talks about how guys get injured off of the simplest things and not the crazier stuff while talking about his son and being reluctant to do some things now he wasn't a few years ago. We end with Santana being nostalgic about being a kid and wanting to become a wrestler and his home life and using wrestling as an escape from reality.
