IMPACT Wrestling Presents Slammiversary 2019 Results Sami Callihan vs Tessa Blanchard

Hey there Fight Fans, we hope you have had an excellent weekend and are ready for IMPACT Wrestling's biggest show of the year, Slammiversary!

Pre-show

Karrion Kross: There's Something Much Bigger Going On Here Than What's Happening In The Ring

-We get a video package for all of the competitors involved in tonight's event. We then move on to an extended video package for the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship match between the champion Brian Cage and the challenger Michael Elgin, including a Fight Network segment called LAX Diary that shows them backstage and traveling before they are seen talking to Fallah Bahh and a couple of other people, talking about how they got their start and about growing up. Santana talks about a backyard wrestling match where he fell on thumb tacks and his mother and sister freaked out before they talk about their barbed wire rope ladder match against OvE. Santana talks to Michael Elgin about Nike shoes before they look at the weapons for a match and Santana talks about an ECW match between Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer where Bully used a cheese grater on Tommy. Konnan meets with them while Ortiz is having dinner before we see them finding out that their match is being moved to the main event spot while the crew are putting the ring together.

Ortiz talks about the kind of mindset he has to be in before a match and how people think that wrestling is fake before Ortiz talks about becoming a father and the effects of that has on you mentally in the ring. Ortiz talks about how guys get injured off of the simplest things and not the crazier stuff while talking about his son and being reluctant to do some things now he wasn't a few years ago. We end with Santana being nostalgic about being a kid and wanting to become a wrestler and his home life and using wrestling as an escape from reality.

Main Show

-We open the show with a video package for the history of IMPACT and the transition from the old to the new and the new generation.

TJP vs Trey vs Jake Crist vs Willie Mack

Jake plays to the crowd and gets hit with a double superkick before TJP hits a huricanrrana and Willie hits a Samoan drop into a standing moonsault for a quick two count. TJP puts Jake in a one legged figure four before Trey sends Willie into TJP and makes TJP DDT Willie. TJP locks in an octopus stretch that Willie breaks up before TJP hits a wrecking ball dropkick and Jake sends him to the outside. Willie hits a springboard cross body before Jake hits a diving tornado DDT and Trey a 619 from the apron into a flipping senton over the top rope. Trey rolls TJP back into the ring and catches Willie on the top turnbuckle before TJP locks in a surfboard stretch to Trey that Willie breaks up with a diving stomp. Everyone hits a move before Jake suplexes TJP into the corner for a near fall and rocks him with a variety of kicks before hitting Willie with a DVD for a near fall that TJP breaks up. TJP suplexes Jake who counters the Detonation Kick before TJP locks in a kneebar that Trey breaks up with a meteora. Jake then hits a diving cutter before Willie hits him with a frog splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: Willie Mack defeats Jake Crist, TJP and Trey when he pins Jake with a frog splash.

-The IMPACT World Tag Team champions The North are interviewed about winning the titles at Bash at the Brewery and tonight's triple threat match.

IMPACT Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match

The North (c) vs The Rascalz vs LAX

LAX send The North out of the ring before hitting Dez with a variation of a backbreaker and Wentz with a running boot before Santana hits Dez with a rolling cutter. Josh hits Wentz with a blue thunderbomb for a two count before locking in an ankle lock and Ethan keeps anyone else from getting in the ring until Dez superkicks him and uses Wentz as a weapon by launching him into Ethan. Rascalz double up on Josh for a two count before LAX double team Josh for a two count and Josh hits a variation of a diving moonsault before Ethan hits a flipping senton for a near fall. LAX hit their assisted cannonball in the corner and hit Josh with a double reverse suplex before The North counter a doomsday device by LAX. The North double team Ortiz while Santana is being attended to at ringside for a near fall that Wentz breaks up.

The Rascalz then hit their finisher to Ortiz before Ethan takes them out and he and Josh pin Ortiz for the win.

Winner: The North retain their IMPACT World Tag Team Championship by defeating LAX and The Rascalz via pinfall when they pin Ortiz.

-After the match The Rascalz help Santana to the back before we cut to a promo by Sami Callihan ahead of his match against Tessa Blanchard.

-We get a video package for Eddie Edwards and Killer Kross' first blood match.

First Blood Match

Eddie Edwards vs Killer Kross

Eddie attacks Kross on the ramp before they make their way into the ring and right back out of it before Eddie chops Kross at ringside and grabs a chair. Kross chokes Eddie and powerbombs him onto the apron before Eddie comes back with an overhead belly to back suplex and sends him out of the ring with forearm strikes. Eddie goes for a suicide dive before Kross throws a chair at his head and piles chairs up at ringside before Kross hits a gun wrench suplex off of the apron and down onto the floor. Kross swings a chair around, but Eddie dodges repeatedly before throwing a chair at Kross, Kross getting into the ring and trying to cover his head to avoid a potential trickle of blood if he's cut open. Kross takes control off of the distraction and sets Eddie on the top turnbuckle before Eddie fights him off and crotches him on the top rope before hitting a flying Boston Knee Party.

Eddie finds Kenny and Kross locks in a choke before they roll out of the ring and Eddie hits a Tiger driver onto the floor. Eddie hits a shining wizard and breaks Kenny in half before he digs the broken stick into the mouth of Kross until he bleeds for the win.

Winner: Eddie Edwards defeats Killer Kross by making him bleed.

Moose vs RVD

RVD drops Moose with kicks before Moose rolls out of the ring and RVD hits a tope before Moose drops him with a strike and goes to powerbomb him onto the apron before RVD counters into a huricanrrana. RVD hits a cannonball off of the apron and rocks Moose with a kick before tossing him back into the ring and hitting a wheel kick in the corner. Moose hits a dropkick into a delayed dropkick in the corner before choking him in the corner and suplexing him before tossing RVD out of the ring. Moose whips RVD into the corner when he gets back into the ring and locks in a rear chin lock before he nearly knocks him out with a boot. RVD sends Moose over the top rope and onto the ramp before RVD clotheslines him and mocks him before Moose pokes him in the eye and RVD hits a wheel kick.

RVD hits a split legged moonsault for a two count before hitting a running wheel kick in the corner and Moose hits Go to Hell for a near fall. They exchange until Moose hits a DDT and missed a frog splash before RVD hits a DDT for a near fall and Moose uses the referee as a shield. Moose shoves the referee out of the way and low blows RVD before bringing a chair into the ring. The referee grabs the chair before RVD hits a Vandamninator for a near fall, Moose getting his foot on the bottom rope for the break. RVD then missed a Five Star Frog Splash and lands on the chair before Moose spears him for the pin and the win.

Winner: Moose defeats RVD via pinfall with a spear.

Knockouts Championship Fatal Four Way Monster's Ball Match

Taya Valkyrie (c) vs Rosemary vs Su Yung vs Havok

Taya and Rosemary go after Su before Havok drops them both and everyone duels with chairs, a trash can and a staple gun before Rosemary sends Havok out onto the apron and throws a trash can at her. Su sends Rosemary out of the ring and Taya kicks her before stapling her back and staples a picture of ge self to the head of Su before stuffing it in her mouth and kneeing her in the face. Havok hits a backbreaker and puts Taya in the tree of woe before dropping her onto a chair and hitting several running boots in the corner. Rosemary hits a missile dropkick and wears a baking sheet out on Havok before Su puts a dog collar on Rosemary and herself before Su sends Rosemary face first into a chair wedged in the corner. Taya takes out both Su and Rosemary with a ladder before she counters a chokeslam and sends Havok face first into the chair before Su catches her up top and puts her in the tree of woe.

Rosemary and Su exchange on the top before Taya sends both of them off of the top and onto Havok and the ladder before Havok goes face first into a chair in the corner. Rosemary spears Taya and grabs thumb tacks before pouring them in the ring, Taya and Rosemary countering each other until Taya hits a Herman suplex and slams Rosemary face first into the tacks for a near fall that Havok breaks up. Su mists James at ringside before she and Havok go at it and Rosemary and Taya exchange strikes on the apron before Taya hits a side effect through a table at ringside. Su then locks in the mandible claw before Havok hits a diving tombstone for a near fall that Taya breaks up before Taya pins Su for the win.

Winner: Taya Valkyrie retains her Knockouts Championship by defeating Su Yung, Havok and Rosemary when she pins Su.

X-Division Championship Match

Rich Swann (c) vs Johnny Impact w/John E. Bravo

Impact repeatedly dodges Swann and takes his time engaging when does get into the ring before they exchange arm drags and Rich dropkicks Johnny who rolls out onto the apron. Back in the ring Impact slaps Rich and he crotches him on the top rope before hitting a springboard roundhouse kick that sends Rich down onto the floor. Johnny sends Rich into the railing and drops him with a whirlwind kick when they're back in the ring for a quick two count. Johnny distracts the referee as John stomps Rich at ringside before hitting a neckbreaker for a quick two count. Rich comes back with right hands before Johnny sends him out of the ring and Rich hits an enzuigiri into a DDT before superkicking Johnny and hitting a running 450 for a two count. Rich hits a tope to the outside and tosses Johnny back into the ring and hits a diving elbow for a two count before Johnny hits a shining wizard and a twisting uranage for a near fall. Rich catches Johnny in midair with an uppercut when he goes for a springboard move before they brawl on the second turnbuckle and fall out of the ring. John puts Johnny back into the ring before Rich gets back in at nine and Johnny hits a Spanish fly into a standing Spanish fly for a near fall. Rich takes out John at ringside before Johnny misses a tope and they get back in the ring and Johnny hits a springboard roundhouse kick. Johnny then hits Starship Pain for a near fall before Rich hits two Lethal Injections and a 450 for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rich Swann retains his X-Division Championship by defeating Johnny Impact via pinfall with a 450.

IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship Match

Brian Cage (c) vs Michael Elgin

They run right at each other and brawl until Michael rocks Brian with a boot and Brian drops him with a shoulder block before they exchange forearms and Brian drives Michael into the corner. Brian hits Michael with clotheslines in the corner and whips Michael across the ring before hitting a boot into a German suplex, Michael rolling out of the ring before Brian hits a flipping senton over the top rope and lands on his feet. Brian tosses Michael into the ring and Michael hits a dragon suplex into several running clotheslines and a superplex for a two count. Michael drives Brian into the corner and whips him across the ring before driving him into the railing and dropping him onto the apron. Back in the ring Michael misses a corkscrew senton and hits a backbreaker before Brian catches a superkick and hits a superkick of his own before hitting a springboard roundhouse kick into a 619 and an inverted suplex for a near fall.

Brian hits a cheeky nandos into a sit-out electric chair face buster for a near fall before Michael hits a dead lift powerbomb and rocks him with a headbutt. Michael clotheslines Brian and hits a lariat into a pop-up sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before he hits a buckle bomb and Brian drops him with a discus lariat that turns Michael inside out. They exchange strikes and kicks until Brian hits a buckle bomb and Michael a Canadian destroyer for a near fall before Brian rocks Michael with a knee and hits a powerbomb into an F5 for a very close near fall. Michael then counters the Drill Claw and hits a buckle bomb before Brian counters the Elgin Bomb and pins Michael for the win.

Winner: Brian Cage retains his IMPACT World Championship by defeating Michael Elgin via pinfall.

-After the match Michael attacks Brian and goes to attack Don Callis at ringside before he's speared by a masked person who resembles ECW and WWE alum Rhyno.

-We get a video package for Bound for Glory which will be held on October 20th in Chicago, Illinois.

-We get a video package for the main event inter-gender match between Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard.

Inter-gender Match

Sami Callihan vs Tessa Blanchard

They go toe to toe in the center of the ring before Tessa hits Sami with forearms and sends him out onto the apron with a huricanrrana. Tessa hits a dropkick that sends Sami off of the apron before hitting three suicide dives, Sami countering a huricanrrana and sending Tessa into the railing before hitting a DVD onto the floor. Sami gets back into the ring and plays to the crowd before Tessa gets in and Sami throws her back out before powerbombing her onto the apron. Tessa gets back into the ring and Sami beats her down before Tessa comes back with a running neckbreaker and Sami drops her with a boot. Sami takes a bow and stomps the ankle of Tessa before he hits a scoop slam and tosses her out of the ring and onto the ramp.

Tessa counters a powerbomb into a cutter on the ramp before they get into the ring at the last second and Tessa hits Sami with everything she had before hitting a Samoan drop. Tessa hits a tornado DDT for a near fall before Sami counters the buzz saw DDT and Sami hits a shoulder breaker into a knee and a powerbomb for a near fall. Sami locks in a choke before Tessa gets to the bottom rope right before tapping and Tessa hits a springboard code breaker for a near fall. Tessa beats on Sami before she accidentally takes out the referee and Sami hits her with his baseball bat for a near fall before Sami takes out the second referee and Tessa low blows him. Tessa hits Sami with her own bat before hitting Sami with the Magnum for a very close near fall and Sami hits a package tombstone for a near fall.

Tessa then does thumbs up, thumbs down to Sami before he grabs her and hits a piledriver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Sami Callihan defeats Tessa Blanchard via pinfall with a piledriver.

-After the match Sami teases hitting Tessa with her own bat before handing it to her and leaving as we go off the air.
