IMPACT Wrestling Results (1/13/22): Deonna Purrazzo Faces Rok-C In A Winner-Takes-All Title Match + More!

Welcome to Fightful.com's live coverage for the 1/13/22 edition IMPACT Wrestling!

We're just days removed from the Hard To Kill pay-per-view and we have you covered on all of the fallout from the event!

The show opens with a highlight package from this past weekend's Hard To Kill pay-per-view event.

W. Morrissey comes through the back door of the arena and reams out production asking if they've seen Moose before making his way out to the ring. Morrissey says he and Moose both know that he had him beat at Hard To Kill. Morrissey says Moose needs to come down to the ring and face him one-on-one for the IMPACT World Championship. Moose appears on the big screen and says he never had Morrissey pegged as the complaining type but he's clearly wrong. Moose says he'll only give title shots to those who are truly deserving and he has a title match tonight...just not against him. Moose says Morrissey needs to head to the back of the line and watch 'the greatest world champion in all of professional wrestling...Moose'. Morrissey says he has a feeling that he won't make it to his world title match. Scott D'Amore meets Morrissey backstage and says Morrissey just needs to accept that Moose already has a title match tonight against somebody else. Morrissey asks how there's a title match without him in it.

We cut back to the ring and ROH's Vincent, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven and PCO attack D'Lo Brown on commentary. Vincent and Bennett put D'Lo on the announce table as PCO nails him with a pair of diving splashes through the table as Taven heckles Tom Hannifan on the mic. IMPACT officials chase the heels off and then check on Brown as we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Hannifan breaks down what just happened to his broadcast partner before the break and says that he'll be running commentary by himself for the remainder of the evening. Hannifan runs down tonight's card and we cut to a video package highlighting Rok-C's undefeated run in Ring of Honor ahead of her title vs. title match later on tonight against Deonna Purrazzo and we're about to get into our first matchup of the evening.

Winner - Laredo Kid

We then see Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Heath, Eddie Edwards and Rhino backstage. Swann says it's one thing to attack them at Hard To Kill [Vincent, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and PCO] but jumping D'Lo Brown is just wrong. Heath says he doesn't know who they are but he's pissed that they took their big moment away from them after their win at Hard To Kill. Edwards says they should split up and guard all of the entrances so they can't attack them or anyone else. Rhino says screw that and they should be the one's looking for a fight. They all agree and yell as they grab weapons and head off to look for the ROH bunch and we head to a break.

Back from the break and Brian Myers is backstage with Zicky Dice and VSK. Zicky says he's the one getting an IMPACT World Championship match against Moose then a pizza delivery man shows up. Myers says he shouldn't be eating pizza before such a big match, Zicky says it's a serious pizza for a serious match. Myers and VSK grab a slice and walk-off and Zicky's looking for someone to pay for the pizza as we head back to the ring for our next match, which Ace Austin and Madman Fulton will join Tom Hannifan on commentary for.

'Speedball' Mike Bailey vs. Jake Something

Bailey blasts Jake with a kick to the face, goes up top and nails Jake with the knees to the back and gets the three-count for the win!

Winner - 'Speedball' Mike Bailey

Backstage, we see Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Eric Young, Deaner and Joe Doering. Karl says they only teamed up so they could take out Heath's team at Hard To Kill. Young says Karl needs to watch himself because he's the one who got pinned at Hard To Kill, Young says he's only worried about the future and just imagine what this 'business arrangement' could be if they continued. IMPACT officials yell for help as Rhino and Heath have gotten taken out and we head to a break.

Back from the break and Gia Miller's backstage with Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green. Gia asks them what wemt wrong at Hard To Kill. Cardona says all he can do is stay Alwayz Ready, make his own luck and create his own opportunities. Chelsea says in her opinion, Matt should've won and in everyone's opinion, he could've won. Chelsea says she was at the top of the Ultimate-X structure with Tasha [Steelz] and she was the one who unhooked the X but she let it slip through her fingers. Tasha and Savannah Evans show up and tell Gia to leave, which she does. Tasha says she took the win from Chelsea and that's what winners do. Tasha says it's good that she lost because it creates a balance in their household because she won't have to wake up next to a loser like Matt. Chelsea gets in Tasha's face and challenges her to a match, next week. Tasha declines, Chelsea shoves her down and tells her to sit and think about it as the segment ends.

Masha Slamovich vs. Vert Vixen

After the match, Josh Alexander comes down to the ring, he and Masha stare each other down, Masha heads out and Josh heads to the ring. The Dallas, Texas crown reigns down 'Walking Weapon' chants, Josh says he hears them and he's been told a lot that he needs to keep his emotions in check and if he does so, he'd get his IMPACT Wrestling World Championship rematch. Josh says he fought Minoru Suzuki then JONAH, he's had his ribs broke, his jaw shattered and he's still never lost focus. Josh says what Moose did to him in front of his wife and kids will be burned into his brain forever but he got a taste of what it feels like to hold the IMPACT World Championship and as far as he's concerned, he's the uncrowned world champion until Moose beats him. Josh says Moose clearly doesn't have a problem handing out title shots to anyone who asks but he's really just avoiding the one true challenge in the company. Josh says if Moose intends on competing tonight and defending the title against Zicky Dice, he'll only do so once he faces him. Josh says if he doesn't get his world title rematch, he might have to seriously consider if IMPACT Wrestling is the right place for him. WWE tag team legend Charlie Haas interrupts and heads down to the ring! Haas says he'd like to introduce himself to the IMPACT crowd because this is the first ever time he's been inside of an IMPACT Wrestling ring. Haas says Josh is a great wrestler, they have the same pedigree and they've both done a lot of things the same. Haas says he was a D1 college wrestler and was part of one of the world's greatest tag teams, just like Josh was part of one of the best tag teams in IMPACT history. Haas says Josh's the pinnacle and he wants to prove that he has something left in the tank and proposes a match between the two. Josh says he knows who Haas is, so does everyone else. Josh says Haas is one of the best amateur and professional wrestlers of all-time and he looked up to Haas growing up and it would be an honor to share the ring with him but he needs his world championship match first and if he doesn't get his title shot, Haas would just be another obstacle in the way. Haas takes a cheap shot at Josh and they begin to brawl until IMPACT officials make their way down and separate the pair as the crowd urges on to 'let them fight'. Haas backs-off and makes his way out as the crowd pours in the 'Charlie, Charlie, Charlie!' chants. Josh grabs a mic and says if Haas wants this match, he's got it!

JONAH vs. Raj Singh

JONAH eats a forearm from Singh and an upper-cut, then a running clothesline then drills Singh with a clothesline of his own. JONAH tosses Singh to the corner, runs after him, eats a boot, Singh unloads a few strikes, JONAH powers out and tosses Singh across the ring with a press slam, then a running senton, the big man goes up top and delivers a flying tsunami from the top rope and gets the 1-2-3 for the win!
