IMPACT Wrestling Results for 4/7/20 IMPACT World Tag Team Championship Match

Hey Fight Fans and welcome to our coverage of tonight's edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV and Twitch TV!

Rey Mysterio And Dragon Lee vs. Berto And Angel Added To 4/26 WWE SmackDown

- We open tonight's show with a recap of last week's show before we go to Ken Shamrock entering the arena earlier today. We then go to the opening video package before we go to the arena. Willie Mack comes out and demands Reno Scum out to the ring to answer for their attack on Rich Swann at his home before they come out to the ring.

2 on 1 Handicap Match

Willie Mack vs Reno Scum

Reno Scum take control early, doubling up on Willie before chaining together offense and frequent tags until Willie comes back when he counters a running senton. Willie gets to his feet and drops Luster with a clothesline before hitting a Samoan drop into a standing moonsault for two. RS then come back momentarily before Willie hits the Six Star Frog Splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: Willie Mack defeats Reno Scum via pinfall.

- After the match Ace Austin attacks Willie before he and RS lay him out and stand tall we then get a graphic for our tag team championship main event as we go to commercial.

- We come back to Kylie Rae meeting people backstage before she runs into Susie and Kiera Hogan.

Chris Bey vs Daga

They run the ropes before exchanging rolls up until Chris hits a Pele kick and Daga hits a hurricanrana into a dropkick. Chris crotches Daga on the top rope before hitting a jumping side kick that sends him over the top rope and down onto the floor. Chris sends Daga face first into apron before sending him into the railing and back into the ring. Chris suplexes Daga for two before kicking him in the back and rocking him with an uppercut. Chris then hits a high angle back drop before playing to the crowd as we go to commercial.

We come back to Chris in control of Daga, locking in an abdominal stretch before they start countering each other until Chris locks in a body scissors. Daga gets to his feet and back Chris into the corner before sending Chris out of the ring. Chris sends Daga into the side of the ramp before Daga climbs the ramp and hits a suicide dive off of the ramp. Daga tosses Chris back into the ring and hits a diving cross body before rocking Chris with a rolling forearm. Chris then counters a sunset flip and holds the ropes for the pin and the win.

Winner: Chris Bey defeats Daga via pinfall.

- We then go to this week's IMPACT+ Flashback Moment of the Week before we go to Taya Valkyrie hitting John E. Bravo with a chair while he's wearing a helmet and pillows taped to his body before she throws it at him and lays him out as we go to commercial.

- We come back to a segment of The Smoke Show with The Rascalz, The Deaners and TJP and Fallah Bahh before we go to the arena for a match between Madison Rayne and Havok.

Madison Rayne vs Havok

Havok boots Madison into the corner before hitting a backbreaker into a clothesline before hitting a running boot in the corner. Havok misses a running splash in the corner before Madison comes back with forearms and a running boot into an enzuigiri. Havok sets Madison on the top turnbuckle before she fights her off and Havok counters a northern lights suplex into a suplex of her own. Havok whips Madison into the corner before choking her and setting her on the top turnbuckle before catching Madison coming off of the top. Havok then hits a tombstone piledriver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Havok defeats Madison Rayne via pinfall.

- After the match we go backstage to Eddie Edwards and Tessa Blanchard arguing ahead of them challenging for the tag titles later tonight as we go to commercial.

- We come back to an interview with Ken Shamrock where he talks about being fire bombed by Sami Callihan and how he was fearful of not getting his eyesight back. Ken says that Sami has no respect and that he does things at the expense of others before talking about their match for Rebellion and how they aren't allowed to touch each other until the match. The lights then start flickering before Ken gets up and leaves in a rage, saying that he knows its Sami.

OvE (Jake Crist & Dave Crist) w/Madman Fulton vs Tommy Dreamer & Rhino

Tommy and Dave start things off with Tommy wrenching the arm of Dave before Jake and Rhino come in. Rhino drops Jake with a shoulder block and tags Tommy back in when he drags him to the corner before Rhino and Tommy hit a double back elbow. Fulton is ejected by the referee when he attacks Tommy as the Crists make him go to the back. Back in the ring Tommy is in control of Jake until Dave kicks him from the apron and Jake drops him with a kick for two. Jake keeps Tommy away from Rhino before knocking him from the apron and the Crists hit a double suplex for two.

Tommy gets the tag to Rhino after superplexing Dave before Rhino takes out both of the Crists for two before everyone hits a move. Rhino then Gores Jake after he takes out Tommy for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rhino and Tommy Dreamer defeat OvE via pinfall.

- After the match Fulton comes back and attacks Rhino before sending him out of the ring and Fulton takes out Tommy with a spinning flat liner as we go to commercial.

- We come back to Rosemary at the bar before Johnny Swinger walks up to her and they start talking before Rosemary leaves. We then go back to the arena for a match between Kiera Hogan and Susie.

Susie vs Kiera Hogan

Susie takes Kiera down before Kiera backs her into the corner and Susie hits a bulldog for two. Kiera pulls Susie down by her hair for two before sending her face first into the middle turnbuckle and choking her in the corner. Kiera hits a running forearm in the corner into a running hip attack and a running kick in the corner for two. Kiera dropkicks Susie for two before Susie counters a fisherman's buster and hits a Thesz press into punches in mount. Kiera rolls over and reverses Susie before Susie gets to the ropes for the break.

Kiera goes up top before Susie hits a frankensteiner for a near fall before Kiera rocks her with a roundhouse kick. Susie then gets distracted when she's trying to find her glove before Kiera hits a fisherman's buster for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kiera Hogan defeats Susie via pinfall.

- After the match we go backstage to Michael Elgin walking in and talking to The North ahead of their title defense in tonight's main event as we go to commercial.

- We come back to a rundown of the card for Rebellion before it's announced that Johnny Swinger will take on Michael Jackson next week as we go to the ring for our main event.

IMPACT World Tag Team Championship Match

The North (c) vs Tessa Blanchard & Eddie Edwards

Ethan and Eddie kick things off for their respective teams by exchanging wrist locks before Eddie takes Ethan down to the mat. Josh comes in and Eddie hits him with a deep arm drag before dragging him to the corner and tagging in Tessa. Josh drops Tessa and chops her against the ropes before Tessa hits a flying head scissors and Tessa counters a suplex. Tessa hits running clotheslines against the ropes, but can't get Josh over the ropes until her third attempt before Ethan gets in her way when she goes for a suicide dive. Josh capitalizes on the distraction by Ethan and drops Tessa from behind before knocking Eddie off of the apron.

Eddie gets the tag and boots Ethan off of the apron before dropping Josh several times and hitting both members of The North with machine gun chops in the corner. Eddie then sends The North out of the ring before Eddie hits a suicide dive and Tessa hits a diving cross body off of the top and onto the floor as we go to commercial.

We come back to Eddie fighting out of the corner before Josh counters a frankensteiner and hits a diving knee for two. Ethan comes in and chokes Eddie against the ropes before The North double up on Eddie in the corner and mock Tessa. Eddie finally gets the tag to Tessa, Tessa hitting a diving cross body before sending Ethan out of the ring hitting Josh with a shiranui. Tessa hits suicide dives out of both sides of the ring before hitting a Magnum for a near fall. Ethan backs Tessa into the corner before Josh knocks Eddie off of the apron and The North hit a slingshot cutter into a German suplex for a near fall.

Eddie stops The North from hitting a double suplex to Tessa before everyone hits a move and collapses. Josh nearly knocks Tessa out with a rolling forearm before Eddie hits him with a German suplex and Tessa sends Ethan out of the ring. Eddie hits Josh with Tiger driver before Tessa hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a near fall. Josh catches Tessa when she goes for a Magnum before The North hit a double crucifix bomb for a near fall that Eddie breaks up. Tessa hits Ethan with a Samoan drop before hitting Josh with a tornado DDT.

Tessa then rejects a tag attempt by Eddie before The North knock Eddie off of the apron and hit Tessa with their finisher for the pin and the win.

Winner: The North retain their IMPACT World Tag Team championships by defeating Tessa Blanchard and Eddie Edwards via pinfall.

- After the match Eddie and Tessa argue before Eddie leaves and Tessa is attacked from behind by Michael Elgin. Eddie then leaves before Elgin hits an Elgin Bomb before holding up her World championship as we go off the air.
