MLW Saturday Night SuperFight Results Contra Reigns Supreme, New Tag Team Champions Crowned

Hey there Fight Fans, we hope you are having a great weekend and are ready for MLW's first ever pay-per-view event headlined by a No Disqualification Match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship!

Pre-Show

TNA IMPACT (4/25/2024) Results: Nic Nemeth vs Eddie Edwards, Matt Hardy Returns, Mike Santana, More

-We open the show with a video package for all of tonight's matches.

Leo Brien vs Savio Vega

They lock up several times before Leo backs Savio into the corner for a clean and they exchange hammer locks before Savio hits a couple of right hands and a hip tied into a dropkick. Leo goes outside to group before Savio follows him and chops him at ringside before rolling him back into the ring, Leo stomping Savio and hitting a float over suplex for a quick two count. Leo puts Savio in a rear chin lock before Savio hits a running cross body for a two count, Leo talking to the crowd before rocking Savio with a right hand and dropping him with a spear. Leo hits a scoop slam and Savio comes back with strikes before shoving the referee out of the way before Leo sends Savio into the referee. Leo then hits Savio with his cowbell for the pin and the win when the referee is incapacitated.

Winner: Leo Brien defeats Savio Vega via pinfall.

-After the match Savio attacks Leo and sends him running with dual kendo sticks before we get a video package for Mance Warner, Bestia 666 and Jinny Havoc.

Gino Medina vs Air Wolf

They go back and forth, matching each other with flips before Air hits a huricanrrana and dropkicks Gino for a quick two count. Gino hits an enzuigiri and plays to the crowd before stomping Air on the corner and hitting a snap mare into a rear chin lock. Gino hits a jawbreaker before Air hits a drop toe hold onto the corner and a 619 into a snap German suplex before Gino kicks Air in the head and Air hits a Pele kick. Gino launches Air into the corner and hits a running knee into a variation of eat defeat for the pin and the win.

Winner: Gino Medina defeats Air Wolf via pinfall with eat defeat.

-We go to Dynasty's MJF talking to Richard Holliday outside of the hotel and have a bonding moment when MJF gives Richard his sunglasses.

-We see Injustice in the crowd protesting before El Hijo de La Park comes out for his match against Zenshi.

El Hijo de La Park w/Salina de la Renta vs Zenshi

Zenshi hits a tope to the outside before Hijo hits a suicide dive and chops Zenshi at ringside before sending him into the railing before hitting him with a chair and posing and paying homage to his father. Hijo chops Zenshi in the corner once they're back in the ring before Zenshi rolls him up when he's busy playing to the crowd before Zenshi hits a 619 for a two count. Salina grabs Zenshi from behind, but Hijo can't capitalize before Zenshi hits a slingshot twisting senton for a two count before hitting a code red for a two count of his own. Hijo hits a Spanish fly off of the top and superkicks Zenshi before Zenshi drops Hijo and they both fall to the mat, Zenshi going for a coast to coast flipping senton missile dropkick, but doesn't reach Hijo. Hijo then turns Zenshi inside out with a lariat and hits a reverse piledriver for the pin and the win.

Winner: El Hijo de La Park defeats Zenshi via pinfall with a reverse piledriver.

-After the match Salina grabs a microphone and says that LA Park is going to win the MLW World Championship before Contra minus Jacob Fatu come out and surround the ring before officials and agents hold them off before Salina and Hijo leave.

Contra Unit (Ikuro Kwon & Simon Gotch) w/Josef Samael vs Spirit Squad vs Douglas James & Dominic Garrini

Doug and Kenny start the match for their respective teams, Kenny putting Doug in a side headlock and dropping him with a shoulder block before Doug hits a huricanrrana. Ikuro tags himself in and Doug dropkicks him before Mike grabs the hair of Ikuro and pulls him down before Simon goes after him and Doug and Ikuro exchange strikes while Dom and Kenny go at it at ringside. Ikuro hits a suicide dive and Dom takes Mike down and locks in an armbar. Simon breaks up the hold and Dom goes for a heel hook, but Mike stomps Dom until he breaks the hold and hits an arm drag for a quick two count. Simon comes in and kicks Dom before Dom goes for a knee bar and Simon gets back to his feet before Dom hits a Saito suplex and Ikuro drops Kenny with an enzuigiri.

Doug tags himself in and makes Ikuro kick Kenny before hitting a jumping knee and making Kenny DDT Ikuro before Kenny pokes Doug in the eyes and Dom locks in an armbar on Kenny. Ikuro then mists Mike before Simon hits a Gotch-style piledriver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Contra Unit defeat Spirit Squad and Douglas James and Dominic Garrini when he pins Mike Mondo with a Gotch-style piledriver.

-We end the Pre-Show with a rundown of the matches on the main card.

Main Card

MLW World Tag Team Championship Texas Tornado Tag Team Match

The Dynasty (MJF & Richard Holliday) vs The Von Erichs 

MJF gets on the mic before and insults the crowd and their opponents before Richard calls the Von Erichs fake Texans from Hawaii who can't afford shoes. The Von Erichs rush the ring and beat on MJF and Richard in opposite corners before hitting stereo dropkicks and clearing the ring before MJF sends Marshall into the railing and Dynasty beat on Ross at ringside. Richard holds Marshall before MJF hits him with the ring bell and MJF hits the Market Crash onto the apron before beating Ross down and mocking him and his families legacy while playing to the crowd. Richard gets a quick two count off of a lax pin before suplexing Ross for a two count and MJF argues with the referee before Dynasty hit a stereo suplex for a two count. Ross sends MJF and Richard into each other before Dynasty hit a double elbow into a double elbow drop for a two count, Marshall coming back in and hitting a double clothesline.

Marshall hits a discus clothesline and the Von Erichs hit a stereo cannonball in opposite corners before slamming Richard to the mat for a two count and Richard hits a superplex before MJF hits a diving splash onto Ross for a near fall that Marshall breaks up with a moonsault. The Von Erichs then pin MJF with a claw back suplex for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Von Erichs defeat Dynasty via pinfall to become the new MLW World Tag Team champions when they pin MJF with a claw back suplex.

Injustice vs Septimo Dragon, Gringo Loco & Puma King

Injustice pass around a foreign object before they rush the luchadores and the two sides brawl before the action spills to the outside and Gringo hits Jordan with a huricanrrana before Myron drags Gringo out of the ring and sends him into the railing. Septimo hits a question mark kick into a standing Spanish fly before Puma drops Kotto with several shoulder blocks and a superkick before the luchadores triple team Kotto with a series of high paced moves. The luchadores clear the ring and take turns hitting topes before Kotto hits a sling blade to Gringo for a two count before Myron is hit with a double enzuigiri before Septimo hits a double dropkick and Puma and Septimo hit a double diving stomp onto Myron. Gringo then hits a split legged moonsault for a near fall before Myron hits a stundog millionaire and Gringo hits a piledriver for a near fall before Kotto hits Gringo with a huricanrrana and a tornado DDT. Jordan hits a slingshot stunner before Kotto drops Septimo and Myron hits a springboard 450 for the pin and the win.

Winner: Injustice defeat Septimo Dragon, Air Wolf and Gringo Loco via pinfall when Myron pins Septimo with a springboard 450.

MLW World Middleweight Championship Match

Teddy Hart (c) vs Austin Aries

Austin attacks Teddy by hitting a suicide dive before Teddy gets into the ring or even takes off the Middleweight Championship before whipping him into the railing and rocking him with a forearm. Austin rolls Teddy into the ring and hits a missile dropkick for a quick two count before hitting a snap mare and stomping the face of Teddy before Teddy shoves Austin from the top turnbuckle and down onto the floor. Teddy chops Austin at ringside and Austin begs for mercy when Teddy gets back into the ring before Teddy punches and stomps Austin in the corner, Teddy visibly rattled as he holds his head every few moments. Teddy hits a springboard moonsault for a one count before rocking Austin with an uppercut at ringside and stalking Austin around ringside before Austin rolls back into the ring and catches Teddy coming in before sending him out of the ring and into the railing. Austin rolls Teddy back into the ring and hits a slingshot senton for a two count before locking in a variation of a Boston crab before he gets to the ropes for the break and Austin hits a diving uppercut for a two count.

Teddy comes back with right hands and uppercuts before countering the discus five arm into a back stabber and a belly to back suplex for a two count. They counter each other until Austin hits the discus five arm and slaps Teddy in the corner before Teddy hits a back stabber into a package DDT for a near fall. Teddy says Austin on the top turnbuckle and lies him across it before Austin counters into a code red for a near fall before locking in the Last Chancery right after. Teddy crawls to the ropes for the break right before tapping before snapping Austin's throat into the top rope before hitting a variation of an Asai moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring Austin crotches Teddy on the top turnbuckle before Austin hits a discus five arm in the corner into a running dropkick in the corner and a brainbuster for a very close near fall.

Teddy rolls out of the ring and sends Austin into the railing when Austin goes for a suicide dive before Teddy rolls Austin onto the apron and goes for a DVD, but Austin falls into the ring. Austin then rolls Teddy up for a near fall before Teddy hits the Canadian destroyer out of nowhere for the pin and the win.

Winner: Teddy Hart retains his MLW Middleweight Championship by defeating Austin Aries via pinfall with a Canadian destroyer.

-We go to Josef Samael who says that Teddy has a target on his back and that he has an offer for the Von Erichs before saying that Jacob is going to execute LA Park in tonight's main event no disqualification match for the MLW World Championship.

-We get a video for the women's division of MLW set to debut this fall.

Brian Pillman Jr. vs Low-Ki

Brian chops Low-Ki around the ring before slapping Low-Ki who rips his shirt off lays into him with chops before they exchange chops at ringside and Brian kicks Low-Ki in the chest before Low-Ki drops him with an open hand palm strike. Low-Ki slams Brian onto the floor and rolls him back into the ring before kicking him and taking him down for a quick two count before applying a figure four headlock. Brian chops and drops Low-Ki with a dropkick for a quick two count before locking in a rear chin lock and chopping him across the back of the neck and hitting a belly to back suplex. Low-Ki catches Brian coming in before Brian hits a powerslam for a two count and Low-Ki drives him into the corner before Low-Ki sends him into the corner with knees. Brian turns Low-Ki inside out with a springboard clothesline for a near fall before Low-Ki drops him with a kick to the face and a cartwheel kick.

Brian then throws his mouthpiece at Low-Ki and tells him to bring him his best before Low-Ki knocks Brian out with a rolling heel kick.

Winner: Low-Ki defeats Brian Pillman Jr. via referee stoppage when he knocks Brian out with a rolling heel kick.

-After the match Low-Ki helps Brian up and talks to him after the match before leaving.

-It's announced that MLW has reached a new arrangement with AAA and that AAA wrestlers will be performing in MLW and MLW performers will be at AAA shows.

Timothy Thatcher w/Douglas James vs Tom Lawlor

They brawl in the ring and at ringside before Tom locks in a guillotine and Tim drives him into the railing before Tim rolls Tom back in the ring and they grapple before Tom stomps the midsection of Tim. Tim drops Tom with a knee to the midsection and knees him in the ribs before applying a bow and arrow and Tom rolls on top of Tim before going for an armbar. Tim counters the armbar and locks in a single leg Boston crab before they slap each other repeatedly until Tim slams Tom into the apron and Tom picks Tim up when he goes for a double wrist lock. Tom hits an airplane spin and Tim counters a choke into a variation of a Fujiwara armbar, Tom getting to the ropes for the break before they exchange strikes until Tim hits a belly to belly suplex. Tom hits a belly to belly suplex of his own and Tim rolls out of the ring before Tom sends Tim into the railing and chops him before kicking Tim in the spine and the chest.

Tom hits Kawada kicks and a delayed dropkick in the corner before Tim hits a butterfly suplex for a near fall before immediately locking in an armbar. Tom rolls through and hits a release German suplex before Tim drops him on his head with a belly to back suplex and Tom turns him inside out with a discus clothesline. Tom counters an armbar by Tim into a tombstone piledriver for a near fall before they exchange headbutts and Tom hits a pump handle suplex for a near fall. Tom then hits a kamagoye and a PK before he rains down strikes on Tim and locks in a choke for the tap and the win.

Winner: Tom Lawlor defeats Timothy Thatcher via submission with a rear naked choke.

-After the match Tom talks about how good Tim is and his future before Tom says he can do whatever he wants, Tom saying that he could put Team Filthy back together among other things and that MLW is going to stay filthy.

Stairway to Hell Triple Threat Match

Jimmy Havoc vs Mance Warner vs Bestia 666

Mance hits Jimmy with a trash can lid and drops Bestia with a boot before poking Jimmy in the eyes and hitting Bestia with a trash can when he goes for a suicide dive before throwing it at him. Mance brings a ladder into the ring and fights Jimmy over a staple gun before Mance makes Jimmy staple his own crotch and stapling money the fans are giving him to Jimmy. Jimmy rips the money off and puts them in his pocket, forgetting one on his back before Mance sets the ladder up on the railing and the apron and chokeslams him onto the ladder. Bestia sends Mance into the ladder and knocks Jimmy off before Bestia and Jimmy climb opposite sides of the ladder before Mance shoves it over, crotching them both on the top rope. A bloodied Mance puts boards in the ring and sets them up in several corners before Bestia slams Jimmy onto the ladder before setting it up.

Bestia climbs the ladder before Mance pulls him down and hits forearms and chops before Jimmy climbs the ladder and Mance shoves him back and Jimmy falls through the board in the corner. Mance sets the ladder back up and grabs the barbed wire before Bestia gets the barbed wire and rubs it all over the head and face of Mance before Jimmy piles barbed wire on top of the trash can and Jimmy and Bestia suplex Mance on top of it for a near fall. Bestia superkicks Jimmy and covers Mance for a two count before Jimmy drags him out of the ring and sends him into the commentary table. Jimmy hits Bestia with a chair and tosses him back into the ring before setting up chairs in their side and Bestia hits a sidewalk slam onto them with Jimmy. Jimmy applies a groin claw and sends him off of the ladder and onto the chairs before setting up a board on the chairs, Mance coming back with strikes before Jimmy attacks both Mance and Bestia with barbed wire.

Mance turns Jimmy inside out with a lariat before Bestia hits him with the trash can and hits a knee strike before Mance superplexes Bestia through the board for the pin and the win.

Winner: Mance Warner defeats Bestia 666 and Jimmy Havoc via pinfall when he pins Bestia with a superplex through a wooden board.

-After the match Jimmy attacks Mance and grabs a piece of the railing before piledriving him onto it and hitting the Acid Rainmaker before licking blood off of Mance and leaving before it's announced that MLW will start having a Thanksgiving special on YouTube starting this year.

MLW National Openweight Championship Match

Alexander Hammerstone (c) vs Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Alex takes Davey down, but he hops right up out of a head scissors before Davey takes Alex down with an arm drag and hits a snap mare into a stretch before Alex gets to the ropes for the break. Alex comes back with punches and stomps in the corner before choking Davey and Davey rocks Alex with a forearm and a headbutt before dropping him with an uppercut. Alex hits a delayed suplex and plays to the crowd, Davey hopping right back up and hitting a delayed suplex of his own before Alex rolls out of the ring. Davey follows Alex out of the ring and sends him into the railing before dropping him with a boot and tossing him back into the ring before Alex rips off the turnbuckle pad. Alex forearms Davey in the spine and the kidneys before slamming him down and hitting him with right hands before Davey drops Alex with a boot.

Davey hits a jumping leg drop for a two count before hitting numbered punches in the corner and Alex hits an enzuigiri into a missile dropkick for a two count. Davey catches Alex on the top turnbuckle when he takes too long before hitting a superplex and a diving headbutt for a near fall before Alex hits a t-bone suplex for a near fall. They exchange German suplexes before Davey hits three in a row for a near fall before locking in a cross face, Alex getting free off of a distraction by MJF. Alex whips Davey into the corner with an exposed turnbuckle before dropping Davey with a bicycle knee for a near fall before Davey gets a near fall off of an inside package. Alex then rolls Davey up with the tights and the ropes for the pin and the win.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone defeats Davey Boy Smith Jr. via pinfall with a leverage pin to retain his MLW National Openweight Championship.

MLW World Heavyweight Championship No Disqualification Match

Jacob Fatu (c) w/Josef Samael vs LA Park w/Salina de la Renta

Before the match LA Park addresses the fans in Spanish before they play to the crowd until they get loud enough and exchange forearms and a series of German suplexes before LA hits a shining wizard. Jacob rolls out of the ring and LA hits a suicide dive before Josef distracts LA and Jacob drops LA with a thrust to the throat before dropping him with a headbutt and playing to the crowd. Jacob whips LA into the corner and hits a running clothesline before pulling at his mask and Salina argues with the referee before Josef rushes in and hits LA with a spike. LA is left with half a mask and blood on his face before Jacob sends LA into the railing and plays to the camera and the live crowd before tossing him into the front row. Jacob rolls LA back into the ring and beats on him in the corner before dropping him with strikes in a heap in the corner.

Josef superkicks LA and LA headbutts Jacob off of the top before hitting a twisting senton out of nowhere for a near fall before tossing Jacob out of the ring and picking up and hitting Jacob with the time keeper's table. LA throws a chair at Jacob and breaks the ring bell over the head of Jacob before we see that Fatu is busted open and LA chokes Jacob in the ropes once they're back in the ring. LA headbutts Jacob in the corner and hits him with his belt before headbutting him more and Jacob hits a twisting senton for a near fall. Jacob hits a flop to the outside and grabs a table before he sets it up in the ring as Josef beats on LA at ringside before Jacob sets the table up in the corner and misses a moonsault. LA then goes for the pin before Josef fire balls the referee and Salina slaps Josef before LA accidentally spears Salina through the table before Jacob hits a moonsault for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jacob Fatu retains his MLW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating LA Park via pinfall with a moonsault.
