MLW Underground Results (2/7): Alex Hammerstone Defends World Title Against EJ Nduka

Major League Wrestling aired the premiere episode of MLW Underground on February 7. Matches were taped at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The show aired on REELZ.

  • Jacob Fatu makes it clear that he's going to cash in his title at at MLW SuperFight, and he has his sights set on a rematch with MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone. Real1 interrupted, claiming that he's the winner of the Battle Riot, not Fatu. He talked some trash about Fatu and his family. Fatu threatened to beat him up, and they had to be separated by security. Security officials take Fatu away, and Real1 runs his mouth until Mance Warner comes out to kick off their match.
  • Mance Warner defeated Real1
    • Warner pinned Real1 after punching him once shortly after the bell rang.
  • Alex Kane and The Bomaye Fight Club came out with the Opera Cup, which they have stolen. Kane vowed to win. He said he's going to shove a cheesesteak down his opponent's throat. A fan yelled, "You suck," and Kane made them the unwilling recipient of the cheesesteak by smashing them with it. Kane offered up two envelopes full of cash to anyone who will fight up, and The Marvelous Jafar accepts.
  • Alex Kane def. The Marvelous Jafar via stoppage
    • Kane kept attacking Jafar after the match. He then issued a challenge, which is answered by Davey Richards. The Bomaye Fight Club brawled with him, and The Billington Bulldogs (Tom & Mark Billington) join the fight until security separated everyone.
  • Lio Rush's return is hyped up in a video package
  • The broadcats team announces that Real1 will face Mance Warner in a Street Fight next week. Plus, Calvin Tankman will face Willie Mack.
  • Mads Krügger is down and out backstage, clearly the victim of some kind of attack. Once again, there's a signature calling card on his chest.
  • Last Man Standing Match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Alex Hammerstone (c) def. EJ Nduka
  • Jacob Fatu comes out and stares Hammerstone down.
