NJPW The New Beginning In Sapporo Day 2 is in the books and a lot went down on Sunday Morning, including the crowning of two new champions. Jay White defeated Kenny Omega in the main event to win the IWGP United States Title, while Roppongi 3K defeated The Young Bucks to capture the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.
However, what may be best remembered from this event is that it would seem like the Bullet Club is imploding. That’s because former ROH World Champion Cody would hit Omega with the Cross Rhodes after an argument ensued with Bullet Club, including when Omega accidentally shoved down longtime friend Matt Jackson. This would lead to Kota Ibushi making the save for his former tag team partner, which would lead to the two embracing in the middle of the ring.
