The third day of NJPW New Japan Cup 2018 action is in the books and two more competitors have advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. The two who advanced in the tournament are Zack Sabre Jr. and Kota Ibushi, who defeated Tetsuya Naito and Yoshi-Hashi respectively.
In tag team action, it was the factions of Chaos, Suzuki-Gun and Bullet Club who picked up some big victories.
