Toru Yano (Holder) vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Sabre Jr and Yano, Yano gets up and he kicks Sabre Jr in the midsection. Sabre Jr fights back and Yano keeps trying to throw him into the corner, Sabre Jr winds up throwing Yano into multiple exposed corners. Yano leaves the ring and he grabs a turnbuckle pad, Sabre Jr goes after Yano and he attacks him with strikes. Yano recovers and he sends Sabre Jr into the barricade, Yano puts a turnbuckle pad on in the corner and Sabre Jr attacks him before removing it. Sabre Jr then gets Yano in the cobra twist and Yano gets to the ropes, Yano recovers and he drops Sabre Jr with a hair pull. Sabre Jr quickly recovers and he gets Yano in an ankle lock until Yano gets to the ropes, Yano leaves the ring again and he grabs a turnbuckle pad. Sabre Jr goes after Yano and he drops him with a European uppercut, Yano fights back and a striking exchange breaks out. Yano sprays Sabre Jr in the eyes with his water bottle and both make it back into the ring, Yano grabs some tape and he tapes the turnbuckle pad to the corner. Sabre Jr gets back up and he sends Yano into the exposed corner a few times, Sabre Jr works over the ear of Yano.

Sabre Jr keeps Yano down while stomping on his bent arm a few times, Sabre Jr also wrenches away on the leg of Yano. Yano fights back and he hits Sabre Jr with a belly to belly suplex, Yano sends a charging Sabre Jr into the exposed corner before rolling him up a few times for a few near falls. Sabre Jr fights back and he also rolls Yano up for a near fall, Sabre Jr gets Yano in a knee bar and he transitions to a leg lock. Yano goes for his own leg lock and Sabre Jr transitions to a heel hook, Yano eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold. Yano leaves the ring and Sabre Jr follows him out there, Sabre Jr smashes Yano’s injured leg into the barricade before applying a leg lock to him. Yano ties Sabre Jr’s shoes to the barricade and he gets back into the ring, Sabre Jr gets counted out.

Winner: Toru Yano, by count out, still the Provisional KOPW ‘20

NEVER Openweight Championship
Minoru Suzuki (c) vs. Shingo Takagi

The match begins with Suzuki and Takagi immediately exchanging a bunch of strikes, Takagi sends Suzuki into the corner before landing a corner clothesline. Suzuki fights back and he exchanges more strikes with Takagi in the corner, Suzuki and Takagi also exchange headbutts. Suzuki ends the exchange by getting Takagi in a standing guillotine choke, Takagi gets free by nailing Suzuki with a suplex. Takagi misses a charge in the corner and he manages to block a rope assisted arm bar afterwards, Suzuki manages to get the rope assisted arm bar on the second attempt. Suzuki follows up by knocking Takagi to the arena floor, Suzuki goes after Takagi and he sends him into the barricade a few times. Suzuki grabs a steel chair and he attacks Takagi’s injured back with it, Suzuki gets Takagi in a single leg crab on the arena floor. Suzuki traps Takagi in the barricade while choking him, Suzuki gets Takagi back in the ring before kicking him in the back. Suzuki goes for another single leg crab and Takagi immediately gets to the ropes, Takagi fights back and Suzuki boots him right in the face .

Suzuki goes for a penalty kick and Takagi blocks it before landing a back drop driver, Takagi follows up by dropping Suzuki in the corner. Takagi keeps Suzuki down while landing a middle rope dragon elbow drop for a near fall, Takagi taunts Suzuki and a striking exchange breaks out a few moments later. Suzuki goes for a Gotch style pile driver and Takagi counters with a back body drop, Suzuki goes for it again a few moments later and Takagi counters with a death valley driver. Suzuki gets up and he kicks Takagi before Takagi levels him with a lariat, Suzuki gets up and he attacks Takagi’s injured back before eating a DDT. Takagi follows up by nailing Suzuki with a sliding lariat, Takagi goes for Made In Japan and his injured back gives out. Suzuki looks for a Boston crab before kicking Takagi in the face, Suzuki picks Takagi up and a striking exchange breaks out. Suzuki ends the exchange by nailing Takagi with a drop kick, Suzuki then gets Takagi in the Boston crab. Suzuki transitions into a single leg crab on Takagi and Takagi gets to the ropes, Suzuki then gets Takagi in a sleeper hold.

Suzuki goes for the Gotch Style Pile Driver and Takagi defends against it before his back gives out again, Suzuki gets Takagi back up and he attacks him with headbutts. Takagi recovers and he drops a charging Suzuki with a forearm strike, Takagi waits for Suzuki to get up before attacking him with clothesline smashes. Takagi nails Suzuki with more clotheslines and they daze Suzuki until he goes down, Takagi goes for the Last Of The Dragon and he nails it for a three count.

Winner: Shingo Takagi, your new NEVER Openweight Champion

Kazuchika Okada vs. Great-O-Khan w/ Will Ospreay

The match begins with Great-O-Khan attacking Okada before the bell sounds, Okada fights back and he eats Mongolian chops from Great-O-Khan. Great-O-Khan sends Okada out of the ring and he follows him out there, Great-O-Khan sends Okada into the ring post. Great-O-Khan keeps Okada down while trying to crush his head, Great-O-Khan gets Okada back in the ring and he nails him with a pump kick. Great-O-Khan keeps Okada down while holding him in an arm triangle choke, Okada gets to the ropes to break the hold from Great-O-Khan. Okada fights back again and Great-O-Khan nails him with a few knee strikes, Okada recovers and he nails Great-O-Khan with a flapjack. Okada gets up and he nails Great-O-Khan with a few strikes before landing a back elbow strike, Okada then hits a cornered Great-O-Khan with a leaping back elbow strike and DDT for a near fall. Okada looks for the modified neck break and Great-O-Khan blocks it before sending him face first into the mat below, Great-O-Khan then hits Okada from behind with a corner clothesline. Great-O-Khan hangs Okada upside down in the corner while working him over, Great-O-Khan gets Okada down by landing a basement drop kick for a near fall.

Okada fights back again and he nails Great-O-Khan with a modified neck breaker, Okada looks for a tombstone pile driver and Great-O-Khan blocks it. Okada also misses a follow up drop kick attempt on Great-O-Khan, Great-O-Khan then hits Okada with an elevated flat liner for a near fall. Great-O-Khan keeps Okada down while holding him in an arm triangle choke, Okada eventually gets to the ropes to break the choke. Great-O-Khan looks for an elevated reverse DDT and Okada defends against it before eating Mongolian chops, Okada recovers and he nails a charging Great-O-Khan with a drop kick. Okada follows up by nailing Great-O-Khan with a tombstone pile driver, Okada gets Great-O-Khan in the Money Clip and Great-O-Khan gets free by getting Okada in the claw. Great-O-Khan goes for The Eliminator and Okada escapes before eating another pump kick, Great-O-Khan then hits Okada with a reverse suplex. Great-O-Khan goes for The Eliminator and Okada counters with the Money Clip, Great-O-Khan gets free and Okada nails him with a shotgun drop kick. Great-O-Khan recovers and he gets Okada in the claw, Okada escapes and he nails Great-O-Khan with a Rainmaker.

Okada gets Great-O-Khan in the Money Clip again and Great-O-Khan tries getting to the ropes, Great-O-Khan goes out cold and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada

After the match, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay come face to face in the ring. Ospreay gets the microphone and he congratulates Okada for passing his test, Ospreay admits that he used Okada to become more popular in NJPW. Ospreay says he wants to beat Okada to become the best wrestler in the world, Ospreay says he wants more attention and he wants to end Okada's career. Ospreay says he'll never have to worry about buying expensive things again after he ends Okada's career, Ospreay challenges Okada to a match at Wrestle Kingdom and Okada accepts.

Kenta (Contract Holder) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

The match begins with Kenta taunting Tanahashi as they lock up a few times, Kenta cracks Tanahashi with a few strikes before eating a second rope cross body block. Tanahashi follows up by drop kicking Kenta out of the ring, Tanahashi then hits Kenta with a dive that sends them both crashing to the arena floor. Tanahashi gets back in the ring and he leaves to get Kenta back in the ring, Kenta leaves the ring again and he grabs the briefcase. Tanahashi goes after Kenta and Kenta hits him in the head with the briefcase, Kenta gets in the ring and he nails Tanahashi with some strikes. Kenta focuses his attack on the neck of Tanahashi while landing some knee drops, Tanahashi fights back and Kenta drops him before landing a neck breaker for a near fall. Kenta keeps Tanahashi down while applying a head scissors to him, Tanahashi eventually gets to the ropes to break the head scissors from Kenta. Kenta gets Tanahashi up before attacking him with elbow strikes to the back of the neck, Kenta attacks Tanahashi with mid-kicks before landing a neck breaker. Kenta holds Tanahashi down while applying a chin lock to him, Kenta releases the hold to attack Tanahashi with more kicks.

Tanahashi tries fighting back and Kenta attacks his injured neck, Tanahashi recovers and he hits Kenta with a dragon screw leg whip. Tanahashi follows up by dropping Kenta with a flying forearm strike, Tanahashi follows up by nailing Kenta with a middle rope swanton bomb for a near fall. Kenta fights back and he kicks a charging Tanahashi in the head a few times, Kenta also nails Tanahashi with a tornado DDT into the top rope followed by a top rope clothesline for a near fall. Kenta locks for Game Over and Tanahashi makes it to the ropes, Kenta also nails Tanahashi with a power slam for a near fall. Kenta traps Tanahashi in the corner while landing a few strikes, Tanahashi tries fighting back and Kenta spikes him with a DDT for a near fall. Kenta knocks the referee out of the ring by “accident” after Tanahashi kicked out of the pin attempt, Kenta grabs his briefcase and Tanahashi hits him with it after the referee gets involved. Kenta recovers before he and Tanahashi get dropped with a double clothesline, Tanahashi and Kenta have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Kenta ends the exchange by nailing Tanahashi with a rope assisted DDT, Kenta follows up by nailing a cornered Tanahashi with a soaring drop kick.

Kenta goes to the top rope and he nails Tanahashi with a double stomp for a near fall, Kenta looks for Go To Sleep and Tanahashi escapes before eating some strikes. Kenta then hits Tanahashi with a running knee strike for a near fall, Kenta goes for Go To Sleep again and Tanahashi counters with multiple Twist & Shouts. Tanahashi looks for the sling blade and he eventually nails Kenta with it a few times for a near fall, Tanahashi goes to the top rope and he nails a standing Kenta with a High Fly Flow. Tanahashi applies the cloverleaf to a downed Kenta, Kenta gets free and he manages to get Tanahashi in Game Over. Tanahashi gets free and Kenta reapplies Game Over to him a short time later and Tanahashi submits after a long struggle.

Winner: Kenta, who retains the IWGP United States Championship Right To Challenge Contract

Double IWGP Right to Challenge Contract
Kota Ibushi (Contract Holder) vs Jay White w/ Gedo

The match begins with White immediately leaving the ring to avoid Ibushi, Ibushi goes after White and White gets back in the ring with his briefcase. White throws the briefcase at Ibushi before attacking him with strikes and stomps, Ibushi recovers and he drops White with a flying mid-kick. Ibushi follows up by kicking a seated White in the back a few times, White recovers and he dumps Ibushi on the ring apron. Gedo distracts Ibushi and White drop kicks him in the knee, White then drops Ibushi on the ring apron. White gets back in the ring and he stomps away on a downed Ibushi, Ibushi tries fighting back and White drops him in the corner. White nails Ibushi with multiple knee strikes to the midsection before sending him into the corner, White keeps Ibushi in the corner while landing some shoulder thrusts. White gets Ibushi out of the ring before sending him into the barricade, White gets Ibushi back in the ring before getting him back out to send him into the barricade again. Ibushi fights back by sending both Gedo and White into the barricade, White gets Ibushi back in the ring and Ibushi drop kicks him back to the arena floor.

Ibushi follows up by taking out White with a dive, Ibushi gets White back in the ring before landing a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ibushi misses a charge into the corner and he still hits White with a power slam a short time later, Ibushi goes for a middle rope moonsault and White avoids it. White continues attacking the midsection of Ibushi before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, White follows up with a throw suplex and a Blade Buster on Ibushi for a near fall. Ibushi and White have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ibushi ends the exchange by nailing White with a huracanrana. White looks for a lawn dart before Ibushi nails him with a release German suplex, White recovers and he nails Ibushi with a dead lift German suplex. White follows up by nailing Ibushi with a uranage, White looks for a head and arm suplex and Ibushi manages to get free. White corners Ibushi before landing a multitude of strikes on him, Ibushi fights back and he nails White with a package tombstone pile driver. White avoids a knee strike and Ibushi still hits him with a release German suplex, Ibushi then nails White with a head kick.

White avoids another knee strike before landing shoulder thrusts to the midsection of Ibushi, Ibushi lands a knee strike on White a short time later. Ibushi follows up with a sit out power bomb on White for a near fall, White tries fighting back and Ibushi nails him with a head kick. Gedo interferes and Ibushi knocks him to the arena floor, White goes for Blade Runner and Ibushi nails him with a knee strike. White shocks Ibushi with a roll up from out of nowhere with his feet on the ropes for a three count.

Winner: Jay White w/ Gedo, your new holder of the Double IWGP Right to Challenge Contract

Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Evil w/ Dick Togo

The match begins with Evil getting Naito in a headlock, Naito gets free and he drags Evil to the ground before getting put in another headlock. Naito gets free and Evil drops him with a shoulder tackle, Naito fights back to drop Evil and then land a basement drop kick. Naito keeps Evil down while applying a head scissors to him, Naito transitions to a headlock on a downed Evil. Evil gets up and Naito holds him in a kravat for a short time, Evil leaves the ring and Naito follows him out there to land a few strikes. Togo distracts Naito and Evil sends him into the barricade afterwards, Evil follows up by nailing Naito with a suplex on the arena floor. Evil waits for Naito to get back into the ring to nail him with another suplex for a near fall, Naito fights back and Evil sends him into an exposed corner. Evil gets Naito back out of the ring before sending him into the barricade again, Evil gets Naito back in the ring and Togo attacks him with a steel chair. Evil gets back in the ring and he gets Naito in a single leg crab, Naito eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Naito tries fighting back and he eventually nails Evil with a neck breaker, Naito nails Evil with a few strikes before attacking Togo.

Naito follows up by dropping Evil with a huracanrana, Naito then drops Evil in the corner before landing a slingshot drop kick for a near fall. Naito keeps Evil down while applying a leg assisted full nelson to him, Togo distracts Naito and Evil clotheslines Naito out of the ring. Evil wraps a chair around Naito’s head before hitting it with a second chair, Evil gets Naito in the ring before landing a fisherman buster suplex on him for a near fall. Naito recovers and he drops Evil with a tornado DDT, Naito gets Evil on the top rope and he follows him up there. Evil gets free and he trips Naito up before sending him into the exposed corner, Evil then hits Naito with a back breaker. Evil gets Naito up and he sends him back into the exposed corner, Evil gets Naito on the top rope and he follows him up there before landing a superplex. Evil follows up by getting Naito in the sharp shooter, Naito eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Evil then nails Naito with Darkness Falls for a near fall, Evil goes for Everything Is Evil and Naito nails him with a release German suplex followed by a spine buster. Naito gets Evil on the top rope before taking him down with a super huracanrana, Naito also hits Evil with Gloria for a near fall.

Evil avoids Destino before landing a release German suplex on Naito, Naito avoids Everything Is Evil again before dropping Evil and attacking Togo. Naito follows up by landing a Destino on Evil, Naito connects with a second Destino on Evil for a near fall as Togo drags the referee out of the ring. Togo starts choking Naito while Yujiro Takahashi attacks Naito with his pimp cane, Takahashi then hits Naito with Pump Juice. Sanada hits the ring to attack Takahashi and Togo, Sanada clears them out of the ring before landing a dive on them. Sanada drags Togo and Takahashi to the backstage area, Evil and Naito have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Naito accidentally takes the ref out and Evil nails him with a low blow afterwards, Naito fights back and he nails Evil with a low blow. Jay White hits the ring next and he nails Naito with a release German suplex, Kota Ibushi hits the ring and he chases White out of it. Ibushi nails Evil with a head kick before chasing White backstage, Naito hits Evil with a few elbow strikes to the head. Evil fights back and he sends Naito into the exposed corner, Naito recovers and he sends Evil into the exposed corner.

Evil nails Naito with a second low blow before landing a clothesline for a near fall, Evil and Naito have a back and forth before Naito hits Evil with a brain buster. Naito follows up by nailing Evil with Destino for a three count.

Winner: Tetsuya Naito, still the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion & IWGP Intercontinental Champion

After the match, Jay White returns to the ring with Gedo, White says its him and Tetsuya Naito now after Evil and Kota Ibushi failed. White says he is taking off night one of Wrestle Kingdom 15, but he'll challenge Naito for the double championship on night two. Kota Ibushi comes out and he chases the Bullet Club members backstage.
