NJPW 11th Annual Young Lions Tournament Match

Syota Umino vs. Tetsuhiro Yagi

The match begins with Umino and Yagi doing some chain wrestling, Yagi backs Umino into the ropes before landing some chops. Yagi then drops Umino with a shoulder tackle before applying an ankle lock, Yagi smashes the knee of Umino on the mat below. Yagi traps Umino in the corner before stomping away on his injured knee, Yagi traps the leg of Umino in the ropes while twisting away on it. Yagi drags Umino into the middle of the ring while still wrenching away on the injured leg, Yagi follows that up by applying a modified Indian death lock to the legs of Umino. Umino starts fighting back and Yagi drops him by kicking him in the injured leg, Umino then drops Yagi with a drop kick.

Umino then hits Yagi with a running back elbow strike and some chops, Umino drops Yagi with a running forearm strike for a near fall. Yagi recovers to hit Umino with a running forearm strike followed by a back body drop, Yagi applies the single leg crab to Umino and Umino gets to the ropes. Umino recovers to catch Yagi with a middle rope missile drop kick, Umino then slams Yagi before landing a top rope elbow drop for a near fall. Umino follows that up by applying the Boston crab and a tap out follows.

Winner: Syota Umino

NJPW 11th Annual Young Lions Tournament Match

Katsuya Kitamura vs. Ren Narita

The match begins with Narita dropping Kitamura with a drop kick as the bell sounds, Kitamura gets up and he shoves Narita across the ring a few times. Narita applies the headlock and then tries dropping Kitamura with shoulder tackles, Kitamura eventually drops Narita with a shoulder tackle of his own. Narita recovers to hit Kitamura with a belly to belly suplex for a near fall, Narita then applies the Boston crab to Kitamura and Kitamura gets to the ropes. Narita follows that up by stomping away on the injured back of Kitamura, Kitamura recovers and he attacks Narita with a series of chops. Kitamura then hits Narita with a running back elbow strike folowed by a shoulder tackle, Kitamura follows that up by slamming Narita for a near fall.

Kitamura applies the Boston crab to Narita and Narita gets to the ropes, Kitamura catches Narita with a jack hammer for the three count.

Winner: Katsuya Kitamura

NJPW 11th Annual Young Lions Tournament Match

Hirai Kawato vs. Tomoyuki Oka

The match begins with Oka and Kawato doing some chain wrestling, Kawato drops and applies a knee bar to Oka until Oka gets to the ropes. Kawato keeps Oka down while stomping away on his leg, Kawato starts wrenching away on the injured leg of Kawato as well. Oka eventually recovers and drops Kawato with a shoulder tackle, Oka gets Kawato up to attack him with forearm strikes and a slam. Oka follows that up by applying a modified STF to Kawato, Oka briefly applies the Boston crab to Kawato before attacking the injured back with strikes.

Kawato recovers and he drops a charging Oka with a drop kick, Kawato then nails Oka with a spin kick for a near fall. Kawato would then apply a single leg crab to Oka until Oka gets to the ropes, Kawato keeps Oka near the ropes while nailing him with strikes. Oka recovers and catches a charging Kawato with a power slam and avalanche in the corner, Oka then hits Kawato with a gut wrench suplex for a near fall. Oka then slams Kawato to the mat below, Oka looks for a Boston crab and Kawato rolls him up for a three count.

Winner: Hirai Kawato

Henare, Tiger Mask IV & Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado, Taka Michinoku & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

The match begins with Henare attacking the members of Suzuki-Gun before the bell sounds, Henare keeps Michinoku in the ring before dropping him with a flying shoulder tackle and a slam. Henare goes to the top rope to hit Michinoku with a flying shoulder tackle, Liger tags in and he nails Michinoku with a palm strike. Desparado tries interfering and Liger takes him out, Desparado distracts the referee and Kanemaru spits beer into the eyes of Liger. A brawl breaks out on the arena floor between everybody in the match, Kanemaru grabs a chair and he chokes Liger with it. Kanemaru also throws Liger into some chairs in the crowd, Liger eventually gets back in the ring and Michinoku just chokes him.

Liger leaves the ring to go after Kanemaru and Desparado helps Kanemaru throw him into the barricade, Desparado attempts to rip the mask off of the face of Liger. Desparado tagged in during the melee to get a near fall when Liger is back in the ring, Kanemaru tags in and he stomps away on a downed Liger. Kanemaru goes to the top rope and Liger crotches him before going up, Liger nails Kanemaru with a superplex. Mask IV tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Mask IV gets Kanemaru on the top rope and he follows him up there. Mask IV catches Kanemaru with a top rope arm drag for a near fall, Mask IV catches Kanemaru in an arm bar until Michinoku breaks it up.

Kanemaru nails Mask IV with a drop kick to the knee before tagging Desparado in, Liger hits the ring and his team triple teams Desparado. Mask IV catches Desparado with a tiger driver for a near fall, Mask IV goes for a timbstone pile driver and Michinoku breaks it all up. Liger takes some alcohol and he accidentally spits it in the eyes of Mask IV, Michinoku rolls up Mask IV for a three count.

Winners: Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado, Taka Michinoku & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

Kota Ibushi & Togi Makabe vs. Bullet Club (Leo Tonga & Yujiro Takahashi)

The match begins with Tonga locking Makabe in a head lock, Tonga and Makabe exchange shoulder tackles until Makabe goes down. Ibushi and Takahashi get the tags from their respective partners, Ibushi goes for a headlock and Takahashi bites his hand. Takahashi then hits Ibushi with a side kick followed by a few strikes, Ibushi recovers and he knocks Takahashi out of the ring with a hurricarana. Ibushi goes for the Golden Triangle and Takahashi trips him up to knock him to the arena floor, Takahashi grabs his pimp cane and he attacks Ibushi with it. Takahashi gets Ibushi back into the ring before nailing him with multiple elbow drops, Tonga tags in and he stomps away on a downed Ibushi.

Tonga corners Ibushi before attacking him with a series of strikes, Tonga follows that up by catching Ibushi with a running clothesline in the corner followed by a delayed verticle suplex for a near fall. Takahashi tags in and he drops Ibushi before landing a single leg drop kick, Ibushi recovers and he catches a charging Takahashi with a drop kick. Makabe tags in and he immediately cleans house on the opposing team, Makabe traps Takahashi in the corner before nailing him with a lot of punches. Makabe then clobbers Takahashi with a clothesline for a near fall, Tonga interferes and that allows Takahashi to hit Makabe with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall.

Tonga tags in and Makabe quickly drops him with a clothesline, Ibushi tags in and he kicks Tonga in the back before taking Takahashi out with a dive. Ibushi then catches Tonga with a springboard drop kick, Ibushi waits for Tonga to get up by dropping him with strikes followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Tonga recovers and catches Ibushi with a drop kick, Tonga then hits Ibushi with a suplex for a near fall. Tonga gets Ibushi up again and Makabe attacks him to break it all up, Ibushi then catches Tonga with a head kick followed by a knee strike for a three count.

Winners: Kota Ibushi & Togi Makabe

Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Takashi Iizuka & Taichi)

The match begins with a brawl breaking out between everybody in the match before the bell sounds, Goto grabs Taichi and he throws him into the barricade. Suzuki grabs an electric razor and he tries attacking Goto with it, Taichi battles Ishii in the ring as well. Ishii traps Taichi in the corner while assaulting him with strikes, Ishii then drops Taichi with a shoulder tackle. Ishii catches Taichi with a suplex, Taka Michinoku comes out to distract the ref so Iizuka can attack Ishii with a chair. Another brawl breaks out between both teams and Suzuki chokes Goto with a chair as they battle into the crowd, Ishii finds Suzuki and they battle near ringside.

Iizuka attacks Ishii from behind and he beats him up before throwing him back into the ring, Suzuki tags in and he attacks Ishii with some chops. Ishii tries fighting back and Suzuki chokes him in the corner, Iizuka tags in and he bites the arm of Ishii. Taichi tags in and he attacks Ishii with the bell hammer while the referee is distracted, Suzuki and Goto brawl on the arena floor again. Taichi then attacks a kneeling Ishii with some kicks, Ishii recovers and he quickly drops Taichi with a lariat. Yano and Iizuka get tagged in by their respective partners, Yano removes the turnbuckle and pad and he throws Iizuka into the exposed corner.

Iizuka recovers by biting Yano and trying to attack the referee, Yano and Iizuka exchange to inverted atomic drops. Goto and Suzuki get tagged in by their respective partners, Suzuki and Goto immediately get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Goto gains control after nailing Suzuki with a spin kick in the corner followed by a belly to back suplex for a near fall, Suzuki recovers and nails Goto with a running kick to the face. Suzuki then assaults Goto with some forearm strikes. Suzuki goes for his pile driver and Goto uses a back body drop to escape, Suzuki-Gun then works over Goto with some triple team moves in the ring.

Suzuki distracts the referee so Iizuka can choke Goto with a rope, Suzuki catches Goto with a penalty kick for a near fall. Taichi tags in and he kicks Goto in the head for a near fall, IIzuka puts the iron glove on and Yano drags him out of the ring. Taichi then grabs the microphone stand and he misses a swing at Goto, Goto nails Taichi with a GTR for the three count.

Winners: Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano)

After the match, Minoru Suzuki attacks Hirooki Goto and tries cutting his hair, but Goto breaks free and the two continue brawling for a short time. Suzuki grabs on of the young boys and he cuts his hair, Suzuki then grabs a color commentator and he tries cutting his hair. 

Satoshi Kojima, Kushida & Masked Horse vs. Chaos (Rocky Romero, Sho & Yoh)

The match begins with Kojima tossing Romero across the ring, Romero attacks Kojima with multiple shoulder tackles and Kojima doesn’t go down. Romero eventually gets Kojima down with a running cross body block, Kojima recovers and drops a charging Romero with a shoulder block. Kushida tags in and he attacks the arm of Romero with a top rope tomahawk chop, Sho tags in and he does some chain wrestling with Kushida. Kushida then works over Sho by applying a headlock, Sho breaks free and he drops Kushida with a shoulder tackle. Kushida then catches Sho with a hip toss followed by a drop kick, Sho recovers and he catches Kushida with a modified power bomb.

Yoh tags in and he teams with Sho to do some double team work on Kushida, Yoh then keeps Kushida down before landing a knee drop. Romero tags in and he mauls Kushida with strikes in the corner, Romero would then apply the octopus stretch to Kushida. Kushida eventually gets free and he takes out two members of the opposing team before tagging Horse in, Horse immediately cleans house on the opposing team. Horse catches Yoh with an enzaguri before just choking him, Horse misses a choulder tackle and Yoh nails him with some hip attacks. Horse recovers and he drops Yoh with a hip attack of his own, Kojima and Romero get the tags from their respective partners.

Romero traps Kojima in the corner before nailing him with machine gun chops, Romero follows that up by attacking Kojima with Forever Clotheslines. Kojima stops his momentum before nailing Romero with his own machine gun chops, Kojima goes to the top rope and Sho knocks him off. Roppongi 3K then hit Kojima with some triple team moves for a near fall, Horse hits the ring and he applies an ankle lock to Sho. Kushida also applies the Hoverboard Lock to a downed Yoh, Romero breaks everything up before Sho hits Kushida with a German suplex. Kojima then hits Yoh with a Koji Cutter from out of nowhere, Kojima levels Romero with a Kozy Lariat for the three count.

Winners: Satoshi Kojima, Kushida & Masked Horse

IWGP NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Title Match

Los Ingobernables (Bushi, Evil & Sanada) (C) vs. Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa)

The match begins with Bushi and Fale trying to use illegal tactics to help their teams, Evil and Sanada hit the ring to nail Loa with some double team moves. Bushi tags in and he chokes Loa with his shirt, Fale interferes and he attacks Bushi after dragging him to the arena floor. Fale then tosses Bushi into the barricade a few times, all the members from both teams eventually start brawling on the arena floor. Loa eventually gets Bushi in the ring and he drops him with a headbutt, Fale tags in and he attacks Bushi with a plethora of strikes.

Fale traps Bushi in the corner while attacking him with clothesline strikes, Tama tags in and he nails Bushi with a series of elbow drops. Tama then hits Bushi with a suplex for a near fall, Tama follows that up with a side slam on Bushi for another near fall. Tama hits Bushi with a blue thunder power bomb before tagging Loa back in, Loa then catches Bushi with a running back suplex for another near fall. Loa slows things down by holding Bushi in a modified chin lock, Tama tags in and he misses an avalanche attempt against Bushi. Bushi then drops Loa with an enzaguri before catching Tama with a mule kick, Sanada tags in and he immediately cleans house on the opposing team.

Sanada would eventually catch a charging Tama with a drop kick, Tama rolls out of the ring and Sanada catches him with a dive. Sanada gets Tama back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Tama recovers and he drops Sanada with a spear. Loa tags in and he double teams Sanada with Tama, Evil hits the ring and he is quickly drop by a clothesline from Loa. Sanada then catches Loa with a springboard drop kick, Bushi tags in and he stomps away on a downed Loa. Los Ingobernables then attack Loa with some triple team moves for a near fall, Tama hits the ring and Sanada drops him with a drop kick. Loa drops Bushi and he tags Fale into the match, Bushi quickly sends a charging Fale out of the ring before taking him out with a suicide dive.

Bushi gets Fale back into the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Evil and Sanada try hitting Fale with a Magic Killer until Tama and Loa break it up. Bullet Club then attack Bushi with some triple team moves, Fale catches a downed Bushi with a splash for a near fall. Bushi escapes the Bad Luck Fall to push the referee into Fale and spray mist into his eyes, Bushi then kicks Fale right in the balls. Los Ingobernables hit Fale with a triple team Magic Killer, Bushi then hits Fale with the MX for a near fall. Loa and Tama get back in the ring and a brawl erupts, Tama and Loa catch Sanada with Guerilla Warfare after knocking Evil out of the ring, Fale then drops Bushi with a clothesline followed by the Grenade for the three count.

Winners: Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa), your new IWGP Six Man Tag Team Champions

Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Yoshi-Hashi) vs. Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi)

The match begins with Naito quickly dropping Okada and stomping away on him, Okada recovers and drops a charging Naito with a boot to the face. Okada gets Naito out of the ring before tossing him into the barricade, Okada gets Naito back in the ring and Naito knocks him right back out. Naito then throws Okada into the barricade a few times, Naito gets Okada back into the ring before twisting away on his head. Takahashi tags in and he drops Okada before landing a drop kick for a near fall, Naito tags back in and he stomps away on Okada. Naito then traps Okada in the corner before attacking him with strikes, Takahashi hits the ring and Okada knocks him right out.

Okada eventually drops Naito before tagging Yoshi-Hashi in, Yoshi-Hashi drops Naito with a rolling neck breaker. Yoshi-Hashi then gets Naito on the top rope before landing a drop kick for a near fall, Takahashi hits the ring and he attacks the knee of Yoshi-Hashi. Takahashi tags in and he attacks the injured knee of Yoshi-Hashi with a plethora of stomps, Takahashi traps the leg of Yoshi-Hashi in the ropes before nailing him with a drop kick. Naito tags back in and he drops kicks the injure dknee of Yoshi-Hashi, Naito follows that up by landing an atomic drop to the injured leg of Yoshi-Hashi, Naito would then apply the figure four leg lock to Yoshi-Hashi.

Naito releases the hold and he tags Takahashi into the match, Takahashi corners Yoshi-Hashi before stomping away on him. Takahashi gets Yoshi-Hashi out of the corner before catching him with a pump handle dragon screw leg whip, Naito tags back in and Yoshi-Hashi eventually drops him with a mule kick. Okada tags in and he drops Naito with a forearm strike followed by a back elbow strike, Okada then hits Naito with a diving back elbow strike in the corner followed by a DDT for a near fall. Naito eventually traps Okada in the ropes before catching him with a neck breaker, Naito follows that up with a missile drop kick on Okada for a near fall.

Naito avoids a few shots from Okada before catching him with an enzaguri, Okada recovers and drops Naito with a flapjack. Takahashi tags in and he quickly drops Okada to get a near fall, Okada recovers and catches Takahashi with a modified neck breaker. Okada then crushes Takahashi with a top rope elbow drop, Okada goes for the Rainmaker and Takahashi counters with a release German suplex. Takahashi then hits Okada with a Time Bomb for a near fall after Yoshi-Hashi breaks everything up, Takahashi then cracks Okada with a super kick. Yoshi-Hashi interferes and he drops Takahashi with a Western Lariat, Naito hits the ring and Okada takes him out. Okada locks Takahashi in the cobra clutch and Takahashi taps out.

Winners: Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Yoshi-Hashi)

After the match, Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito continue brawling until Okada lays him out with the Rainmaker.
