-We start off with everyone involved tonight talking about where they were at Brooklyn last year. A very good video package put together, really interesting to see where everyone was and where they''ve gone since then. 

No Way Jose vs Austin Aries

Aries takes down Jose with some collegiate style wrestling that just angers Jose when he stands up. Aries offers to shake Jose's hand, but Jose slaps him. Aries ducks out of the ring, but Jose chases him then Jose drops Aries with a right hand, Aries getting back out of the ring. Jose dives off the apron then grabs Aries when he tries to leave through the crowd, Aries begging him to stop, but Jose keeps on him. Aries hits a elbow to the back of the neck of Jose and gets a quick 2 count.. Aries then hits two running elbows for another quick 2 count. Jose tosses Aries out of the ring then chops him on the apron. Aries lock the Last Chancery in in the middle of no where, but Jose gets to the ropes. Aries gets caught with a TKO, but manages to kick out after a close 2 count.. Aries sends Jose outside then dives through the ropes after him, quickly tossing him back into the ring before hitting a rope assisted backbreaker then a corner dropkick. Jose hits a reverse falcon arrow for a very close 2 count. Jose then turns Aries inside out with a lariat, then Aries hits a crucifix bomb then another dropkick in the corner for a close 2 count. Aries goes up to the top rope, but Jose meets him. Aries turns it into a sunset powerbomb then hits the Last Chancery out of no where and gets the tap and the win. Really good match to start the night.

Winner: Austin Aries via submission with the Last Chancery

-After the match Aries applies it again the a sharply dressed Hideo Itami comes out to the ring. Itami hits a series of punches and kicks after taking his jacket off and loosening his tie then the crowd absolutely explodes when he hits the GTS. I am fully behind this program.

-We then see Samoa Joe backstage getting ready then Shinsuke Nakamura with Funaki and Kota Ibushi.

Billie Kay vs Ember Moon

Moon shows off a lot of agility early, but is quickly dropped by Kay who hits a spinning clothesline for a quick 2 count. Moon hits a springboard cross body for a quick 2 count then Billie hits Eat Defeat, but only gets a quick 2 count; sorry Gail Kim. Kay focuses on the back of Ember, going for a submission version of Widows Peak. She ends up slamming her face into the mat for back to back quick 2 counts. Ember rolls her up for a quick 2 count of her own then Bliie goes for a death valley driver, but Ember counters and hits a neckbreaker. Moon then hits a front flip splash into the corner then hits a...front flip stunner off the top rope?! What did I just see...That was amazing! Ember gets the pin and the win. Amazing debut for Ember Moon.

Winner: Ember Moon via pinfall

Bobby Roode vs Andrade Cien Almas

Roode plays to the crowd the first few minutes, really annoying Almas. Roode then goes to toss Almas out of the ring, but he hangs in the ropes and does his signature pose. Almas hits a springboard headscissor that sends Roode out of the ring then dives over the top rope, ducking Roode, a lot of unique rope play in this match that only Almas can do. They exchange chops then Roode hits an stalling suplex for a quick 2 count. Almas hits a springboard dropkick that sends Roode out of the ring then hits a corkscrew dive off the top rope, tossing Roode back in then hits a corkscrew cross body for a quick 2 count. Almas then hits a facebuster for a quick 2 count as the former Los Ingobernables member is in complete control right now, until he gets turned inside out with a clothesline for a close 2 count. Roode goes for a german suplex off the top rope, but Almas flips to his feet, hitting a straightjacket suplex for a very close 2 count. Roode goes for a fisherman suplex, but Almas turns it into a roll up for a quick 2 count, the two exchanging right hands and playing to the crowd. Almas hits a double knee in the corner then hits Roode with a big boot, but Roode drops him with a spinebuster. Roode then hits the Glorious Bomb for the pin and the win. Great debut for Roode, good match between these two.

Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall with the Glorious Bomb

-They then show a trophy made by Orange County Choppers for the Cruiserweight Classic.

Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa vs The Revival NXT Tag Team Title Match

Ciampa and Dawson start it off, Dawson going to tag in Dash quickly, but Ciampa keeps him away. Dawson dives out of the ring and takes a breather as The Revival have a quick meeting before Dawson gets back in the ring. Ciampa tags in Garano who gets a quick 1 count off of a back elbow. Dawson tags in Wilder, but Gargano is all over him, getting a quick 1 count off a dropkick. Dawson gets back in, but Gargano takes him down. Dawson drops Gargano with an elbow then tags Wilder back in. The Revival go after Gargano, but they stop for a second when Ciampa comes in. Gargano and Ciampa take The Revival out with dives then Wilder tags in Dawson, Dawson hitting a german for a quick 2 count.. The Revival do their trademark near constant tags after each move, cutting the ring in half. Ciampa goes to ta in Gargano, but Dawson yanks him off the apron before he can, then they hit a double team move for a close 2 count. Ciampa cannot get to Gargano as WIlder tags Dawson back in. Ciampa is so desperate to get to Gargano, but The Revival distract the referee, getting a very close 2 count off a backbreaker elbow. Dawson takes out Ciampa, but Gargano finally gets in and takes out both members of The Revival. Gargano hits a neckbreaker for a very close 2 count then hits a spear through the ropes for a an even closer 2 count. Dawson hits a DDT then Dasher goes for the pin, but only gets 2.Gargano gets a roll up for 2 then tags in Ciampa who hits an armbar, but Wilder breaks it up; I and the crowd both thought that was gonna be new champs. Gargano spears Dash out of the ring then Ciampa rolls up Dawson for a very very close 2 count as the crowd erupts. So much happens in 10 seconds I can't even keep up then Ciampa and Gargano hit a double superkick, and just when they think they won, the referee says Dash had his foot on the rope. The crowd is ireat as Dawson applies a reverse figure for the tap and the win.

Winner: The Revival via pinfall

Asuka vs Bayley

They're both equally matched to start the match, a test of strength ends with three rollups by Bayley for a 2 count. Bayley dives off the top rope and gets a knee right int he face, rolling to the outside. Asuka hits a series of hip attacks as Bayley gets back in then one in the corner. Asuka applies an octopus stretch in the ropes then gets a quick 2 count. Bayley starts getting frustated as Asuka is always one step ahead, hitting a series of kicks on Bayley who's hung up on the second rope, getting a 2 count off of it.. Bayley hammers Asuka's face into the turnbuckle repeatedly then hits a suplex and a an elbow to the back of Asuka, following up with a sliding clothesline and an knee drop for a quick 2 count. Asuka goes for a hip attack, but gets hung up in the ropes, Bayley dropping her then hitting a cross body for a quick 2 count. Bayley goes up to the top rope and misses another cross body, Asuka hitting a shining wizard for a quick 2 count. Asuka sets Bayley on the top rope then goes for a superplex, but Bayley slips out and gets hung up in the tree of woe. Bayley hits an elbow drop in the corner then gets a quick 2 count; she just can't put Asuka away. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring, then a series of knees and hip attacks. Asuka locks in what is bascially the Brock Lock then turns it into a pin attempt for a quick 2 then Asuka turns it into an ankle lock. Asuka repeatedly kicks Bayley then hits her, Bayley getting a backslide for 2. Asuka locks in the Asuka lock then Bayley hits Bayley to Belly out of no where for a very close 2 then Asuka goes for another Asuka lock, but misses. Asuka kicks her in the head several times for the pin and the win. That was a great match.

Winner: Asuka via pinfall after a series of head kicks

-Bayley and Asuka hug after the match then Asuka raises her arm and leaves.

-They show a great video package with the new Of Mice & Men song, very well put together for Joe and Shinsuke. Before the match we get a very beautiful violin version of Shinsuke's theme, that's something special. He then plays along to the actual song, this is amazing.

Samoa Joe vs Shinsuke Nakamura

They lockup early with a test of strength then they exchane kicks and Joe slaps him. Shinsuke takes Joe down and they have a lot of jiu-jitsu style grappling. They lock up again then Joe applies a wrist lock. After a series of grappling exchanges on the ground they lock up again, Shinsuke giving his traditional clean break. Shinsuke tells Joe to bring it then hits a series of knees in the corner, ending it with Good Vibrations as Joe gets out of the ring. They fight outside the ring, exchanging right hands and chops, getting back in the ring at the count of 8 and 9. Joe hits a splash then an enzugiri in the corner. Shinsuke hits his running knee on the draped Joe, Shinsuke going for the knee drop from the apron and missing, hitting the floor as Joe dives out after him. Joe gets back in at the count of 7 and gets a quick 2 count. Joe hits a series of moves ending with an elbow for another quick 2 count, in complete control of Shinsuke at this point. Joe applies a series of submission moves, but can't get the tap, first a boston crab then a crossface. Shinsuke finally drops the samoan with a spinning kick, both men down, but up at the count of 5. Shinsuke drops Joe again with a series of kicks then hits his signature knees on the draped Joe in the corner. Shinsuke goes for an exploder suplex, but Joe counters, Joe going for a senton, but Shinsuke rolls out of the way. Shinsuke applies a guillotine then floats over and hits Joe with a series of knees on the grounded champion. Shinsuke runs at Joe but he gets caught and dropped with an improvised uranagi. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster, but Shinsuke hits a kick off the top rope that drops Joe. They then exchange foearms and punches until Joe turns Shinsuke inside out with a lariat. Joe went for a spinning lariat, but Shinsuke counters with a flying armbar then transitions into a triangle, but can't get the tap. Joe powers out and turns it into a cloverleaf, but Shinsuke gets to the ropes; both men are exhausted. Joe goes for the Coquina Clutch, but Shinsuke rolls him over, Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch on the ground, but Shinsuke gets to the bottom rope. Joe sets Nakamura up for the Muscle Buster, but Shinsuke counters, hitting an amazing german suplex. Shinsuke goes for the Kinshasa, but Joe counters into a powerslam for a very close 2 count. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster again, but Shinsuke somehow kicks out; what a match! Joe goes for another, but Shinsuke counters then Joe kicks out of the Kinshasa which has never been done before. Shinsuke hits a knee to the back of the neck then hits another Kinshasa for the pin and the win. Shinsuke Nakamura is NXT champion!
