Welcome to the Fightful.com recap for this week's episode of Ring Of Honor Wrestling! We are one week away from All-Star Extravaganza where Adam Cole (BAYBAY!) will be defending his ROH world title against Michael Elgin and Jay Lethal will take on Tetsuya Naito! Tonight we have Toru Yano versus Silas Young and in our main event ROH world champion Adam Cole and Hangman Page versus Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin!
Toru Yano vs Silas Young
They start with a lockup for a clean break then they shake hands and Yano gets a roll up for a quick 2 count. Silas chases Toru around the outside of the ring. Yano sends Silas to the outside then as soon as he comes back in he drops Yano. Yano tries to take the padding off the turnbuckle, but Young stops him and hits 5 elbow drops for a quick 2 count as we go to commercial.
Yano sends Silas to the outside then gets the turnbuckle pad off, the two exchanging right hands and forearms. Yano plays to the crowd then Silas hits a cutter, but Yano kicks out at 2. Young hits a neckbreaker for another quick 2. Yano goes to the outside then Young dives out after him, but catches nothing but the floor. Silas beats Yano with his own move, tossing him into the exposed turnbuckle then hitting a low blow for the pin and the win.
Winner: Silas Young via pinfall
Cheeseburger vs Damian Martinez
Martinez beats on Cheeseburger in the corner then gets big booted then a sitout chokeslam for the pin and the win; Jesus he was 5 foot over the ring with that one. Martinez is a monster.
Winner: Damien Martinez via pinfall
-After the match Damian and B.J. Whitmer beat on him as we go to All-Star Extravaganza. Next we get Adam Cole cutting a promo for the main event as we go to commercial.
Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin vs Adam Cole and Hangman Page
Michael Elgin and Page start it off after Cole immediately tags him in. Elgin takes out Cole who tries to interfere then hits a stalled suplex on Page that lasts at least 25 seconds as we go to commercial.
Tanahashi is in against Page, in control until Cole distracts the referee then everyone goes outside, but Page hits a standing shooting star press taking out both Tana and Elgin. Cole gets tagged in, focusing on the neck of Tanahashi then tagging Page back in. Cole comes back in and plays to the crowd, but Tana counters him, Page coming in and helping Cole then gets out so Cole can tag him in legally. Tana hits a neckbreaker then tags in Elgin who sends Cole out of the ring then hits a falcon arrow for a close 2 count. Page hits a DDT for a quick 2 count as we go to commercial.
Cole goes for the Destroyer, but Elgin catches him. Elgin tags in Tana who drops Cole then hits the swanton bomb for a quick 2 count. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring then Cole hits a superkick, but Tanahashi hits a sling blade. They tag in Page and Elgin, but Cole breaks up the pin. Elgin drops Page again, but can't get the win. Elgin hits the turnbuckle bomb then a sitout powerbomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin via pinfall
