Ring of Honor Wrestling Presents Final Battle Live Viewing Party

This is the Fightful.com live viewing party for Ring of Honor Wrestling's biggest event of the year; Final Battle! Tonight the year is set to go out with a bang as Kyle O'Reilly finally gets his hands on Adam Cole when they square off in our main event for the ROH World title! The Young Bucks defend their ROH World Tag Team titles against The Briscoes and The Kingdom take on Jay White, Lio Rush and KUSHIDA! If that wasn't enough we have a fatal four-way match for the ROH TV title as The Villain; Marty Scurll defends his title against Will Ospreay, Bobby Fish and Dragon Lee! Be sure to come back for what is shaping up to be a great event tonight at 9PM EST!

-We open with Story Time with Adam Cole where Adam talks about his career and we get video clips of his biggest achievements then talks about Kyle O'Reilly before we go to the arena.

The Rebellion vs The Motor City Machine Guns & Donovan Dijak

Sabin and King start it off, locking up then Sabin puts on a reverse wrist lock, but King drops Sabin and they take turns doing rolls and front flips as Dijak comes in then Coleman comes in then The Rebellion take out MGM on the apron, triple teaming Dijak then Titus comes in. Dijak takes out Coleman and King on the apron then MGM and Dijak triple team TItus. Dijak gets a quick 2 count on Titus. King dives over the top rope and takes out Dijak then Coleman comes in and stomps on Sabin before King hits a springboard leg drop then Titus does a splash for a quick 2 count on Sabin. The Rebellion do an innovative triple team move on Sabin for another quick 2 count, a mixture of a back stabber into a double foot stomp. Dijak comes in and takes out Coleman and King on the apron then hits a throw away slam on Titus, catching Coleman and throwing him over the top rope and onto King on the outside. Sabin takes out King and Coleman on the outside with Dijak along in the ring then Dijak hits a tope suicida, taking out all of The Rebellion. Sabin gets tagged in legally then Dijak hits Feast Your Eyes for a very close 2 count. Coleman hits a Sky Splitter then Titus hits a splash for the pin and the win.

Jushin Thunder Liger vs Silas Young

Silas attacks Liger when he tries to shake hands then hits him with a forearm then Liger drops him with a drop toe hold. Silas goes outside to regroup and Liger hits a cannon ball off the apron, chopping Silas around ringside. Liger rolls him back in the ring, but he rolls back out then Liger hits him with a big knee when he comes back into the ring, following up with a surfboard stretch then Silas gets out and drops Liger in the corner with forearms, Silas trying to rip the mask off of Liger, but it just angers Liger. Silas hits a spinning neckbreaker to the knee for a quick 2 count then stomps on Liger before pushing him out of the ring. The Beer City Bruiser attacks Liger on the outside then rolls him into the ring, Silas putting a headlock on Liger, but he powers out quick. then BCB helps Silas, Silas hitting a double stomp for a quick 2 count then they hit a double clothesline, both men falling to the mat then Liger hits a shotei into a huricanrrana for a close 2 count. Liger goes for the Liger Bomb, but Silas counters and goes for Misery, but Liger counters and Silas hits a backbreaker for a close 2 count. Silas takes a drink of the beer BCB is holding then spits it in the face of Liger. Liger hits a brainbuster then goes to the top rope, but Silas meets him and goes for a superplex, but Liger fights him off. BCB tries to distract him, but Liger drops him with a shotei then goes for a moonsault, but Silas gets his legs up then Silas hits Misery for the pin and the win.

-Next we get a recap for how Colt Cabana turned on Dalton Castle last week and set up their match tonight.

Colt Cabana vs Dalton Castle

Before the match Castle comes out to the ring in a chariot led by The Boys. Castle shows off his amateur grappling skills, all over Colt then slaps him across the face then they lock up, but Colt is whipped across the ring then they counter each other before Castle does his trademark pose then sends Colt to the outside. Colt puts The Boys in the ring then Castle hits a missile dropkick that sends Colt back to the outside as The Boys quickly get out of the ring. Castle hits a suplex then rides Colt's back, getting a quick 2 count then Colt chops the leg out from under Castle when he goes for a move off the top rope, following up with a right hand that drops Castle. Colt chops Castle then Castle chops him back then Colt goes for The Billy Goat's Curse, but Castle gets out of it then Colt hits a wrecking ball dropkick that sends Castle to the floor on the outside. They get back in the ring and Castle hits a dead lift German suplex for a close 2 count then follows up with a t-bone suplex and a running knee in the corner. Colt goes for something off the top rope then Castle goes for Bang-A-Rang, but Colt counters the first one, Castle getting the second attempt for the pin and the win.

-Next we get a promo by Jay Lethal for his match with Cody Rhodes.

Cody vs Jay Lethal

-The Addiction come out before the match starts and Kaz says that they don't have a match and that they don't care to have the night off and Daniels says that Cody is debuting against arguably the greatest champion Ring of Honor has ever had in Jay Lethal and talks about what an influence Dusty had on his career. The Addiction hop on commentary before the match starts and they shake hands, the two very even to start the match.

They exchange wrist locks and arm drag take overs then Lethal hits a cartwheel dropkick before stomping Cody in the corner. Lethal goes for a suplex, but Cody counters with a stalled suplex of his own, dropping Lethal on his face for a quick 1 count. Cody misses a springboard cross body then Lethal hits a dropkick for a quick 2 count, following up with a move in the corner, but Cody drops him for a quick 1 count. Cody focuses on the left arm of Lethal then Jay sends him to the outside and hits a dropkick when Cody tries to get back in. Lethal dives through the ropes twice, but Cody is back in by the third, Cody sending Lethal to the outside then Cody dives off the top rope and takes out Lethal on the outside. Cody rolls Jay into the ring for a quick 2 count then Cody turns Jay inside out with a Beautiful Disaster then Lethal hits The Lethal Combination for a close 2 count. Jay puts a cross face on Cody who reverses into an Indian death lock, but Lethal gets to the ropes almost immediately. Lethal goes for Hail to the King, but Cody dodges it then Lethal hits a cutter, Jay goes for the elbow off the top again and hits it this time then Cody hits a low blow then Cross Rhodes when the referee is knocked down for the pin and the win.

-After the match Cody causes a bunch of trouble at ringside, knocking over tables, throwing stuff then pushes Steve Corino out of his chair on commentary before leaving.

The Kingdom vs Lio Rush, KUSHIDA & Jay White Ring of Honor World 6-Man Tag Team Championship Match

Team NJPW almost win immediately, but Taven kicks out at the very last second, the commentary talking about a curse he has. TK comes in against Jay and drops him, but White hits an arm drag then a series of chops and forearms. TK rakes Jay's eyes then chops him, KUSHIDA tagging himself in and dropkicking TK, following up with a series of kicks then tags in Lio who hits a sliding lariat for a quick 2 count. Lio kicks TK several times, but he catches one, only for Rush to roll him up, but Taven hits a DDT on him before the referee can count as Vinny takes out White and KUSHIDA on the apron. The Kingdom do frequent tags in and out then Vinny hammers away at Lio with right hands before tagging in TK who hits a float over suplex for a quick 2 count. Taven comes back in and Taven hits a big boot then VInny hits a spear for a quick 2 count, TK coming back in and chopping Lio in their corner. Lio goes to the outside and takes out both VInny and Taven before tagging in KUSHIDA who drops everyone then goes for the Hoverboard Lock, but TK gets to the ropes quickly. The Kingdom double team KUSHIDA as TK distracts the referee for a quick 2 count, Vinny hits a back drop for a quick 2 count then he and TK try to double team KUSHIDA, but KUSHIDA hits a huricanrrana then a double handspring elbow, tagging in Jay White who hits VInny with a series of strikes then drops him with a back elbow. Jay hits a back elbow in the corner then sends The Kingdom into Vinny in the corner with exploders suplexes, Lio hitting a shoulder tackle, KUSHIDA hitting an elbow then Jay hitting a back elbow before they all three hit a tripe team move on VInny. Jay hits a missile dropkick on VInny for a close 2 count then sits Vinny on the top rope, but Vinny fights it off and goes for a form of a Boston crab then KUSHIDA puts the Hoverboard Lock on him before Taven hits a superplex on KUSHIDA. Everyone does a move to one another off the top rope then you have Vinny and Jay left in the ring, the two getting up to the count of 7, Taven and Lio coming in and Lio drops Taven with a series of kicks that send him to the outside then everyone dives out of the ring either over the top or off the top turnbuckle or through the ropes for a solid two minutes. Lio rolls up Taven for a close 2 count then Taven hits The Climax for a very close 2 count, but White breaks it up then drops Taven with a dropkick, KUSHIDA doing the same thing then Lio hitting a shining wizard. Lio gets a quick 2 count on Taven, but Vinny hits a swanton off the top rope and takes out the referee. The Kingdom hit their triple team finisher for the pin and the win.

-They then recap how WIll Ospreay beat Bobby Fish for the TV title then how Marty Scurll did the next night.

Marty Scurll vs Will Ospreay vs Dragon Lee ROH TV Title Match

Will sends Marty outside immediately then he and Lee do some flips before Marty comes in and they do some more flips, everyone going for a pin, but no one can even get a 1 count. Marty is sent back outside and Will and Lee chop each other then Lee dives to the outside. Lee and Marty are back in and Lee hits the kitchen sink then a basement dropkick for a quick 2 count that's broken up by Will. Marty goes back outside then Will hits a huricanrrana into a standing moonsault, but Marty breaks it up at 2. Marty goes for the Cross Face Chicken Wing, but WIll counters and Marty drops WIll when he goes for the OsCutter, Lee breaking it up for a quick 2 count. Lee chops Scurll and Ospreay across the chest then Marty and Will take turns kicking Lee. Will goes for a pin, but Marty drags him off then they face off, exchanging right hands then Marty hits a chop, running at Ospreay, but he gets out of the way and Ospreay hits a cheeky nandos. Ospreay hits a Yakuza kick on Lee then goes for a standing guillotine choke, but Lee hits an innovative powerbomb for a quick 2 count. Lee hits a huricanrrana to Ospreay, but he lands on his feet on the outside, Marty dropping Lee with a thrust kick then Ospreay drops Marty with a flying forearm. Ospreay hits a stunner on Marty then back flips several times into a moonsault then a 630 senton. Ospreay goes for the OsCutter, but Marty counters into a chicken wing, but cannot lock it in before Lee breaks it up. Everyone takes turns chopping each other then Marty rakes both of their eyes, Ospreay hitting a springboard double Pele kick, following up with an attempted move off the top rope, but Lee gets out of the way then Marty grabs the hands of Lee, snapping his fingers. Marty goes for the chicken win on Lee, but he rolls him up for a quick 2 count, Ospreay hits the OsCutter on Lee then Marty throws Will out of the ring, locking in the Cross Face Chicken Wing for the tap and the win. That match was so hard to keep up with, but it was arguably the best match of the night so far, we'll see if the Bucks and Adam Cole and Kyle can top it next however.

The Briscoes vs The Young Bucks Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship Match

Nick and Mark start it off, Mark backing him into a corner and hitting him with a chop then drops him, tagging in Jay who shoves Matt on the apron. All four exchange right hands in the center of the ring then Jay and Matt go over the top rope before Nick turns Mark inside out with a dropkick. Matt hits a superkick to Jay then Nick dives over the top rope and takes out both Briscoes. The Briscoes double team Nick then take out Matt on the apron then Nick tags in Matt, the two dropping Mark inside then Jay on the outside. The Bucks hit a double powerbomb on the apron then run the ropes, but the Briscoes come in and drop them with clotheslines. The Briscoes double team Matt then Mark goes to the outside as Jay puts a headlock on Matt inside the ring. Matt hits a cutter on Jay then tags in Nick who drops Mark when he comes in repeatedly then drops Jay on the apron. Nick hits a sitout facebuster to Mark on the inside then a tilt-a-whirl DDT to Jay on the outside then dives back in for a roll up for a quick 2 then the Bucks hit a superkick on Mark, but miss one on Jay. Matt hits a superkick on Mark then they hit a double superkick on Mark. The Bucks hit a double superkick on Jay, but he takes it and turns them both inside out with a double clothesline. Matt and Jay exchange right hands in the center of the ring then the Bucks hit a double team move on Jay for a close 2 count that Mark breaks up then Nick hits a series of superkicks on Mark into a doomsday device. The Bucks hit More Bang For Your Buck for a very close 2 count on Jay then Mark hits a uranage to Nick on the floor before Jay hits a DDT on Matt in the ring. The Bucks go for The Meltzer Driver, but Mark hits a cutter off the top rope right when Nick jumps then Jay hits the Jay Driller and Mark hits Froggy Bow for a very close 2 count. The Briscoes hit a doomsday device on Matt for a very close 2 count after Mark hits a blockbuster on Nick on the outside then the Briscoes take turns stomping Matt before Nick comes back in and hits a series of enzuigiris to both of them. The Bucks hit The Meltzer Driver for a very close 2 count that Jay breaks up then The Bucks hit three superkicks to the Briscoes, but they just spit at them and flip them off so the Bucks then hit them with at least 10 more in a matter of 10 seconds for the pin and the win.

-After the match Broken Matt Hardy appears on the big screen and says he and Brother Nero are coming to ROH to delete them.

Adam Cole vs Kyle O'Reilly ROH World Championship No Disqualification Match

They exchange forearms immediately then right hands then forearms again then Kyle drops Cole and mounts him, transitioning into an armbar, but Cole gets out. Kyle puts an armbar on Cole in the ropes then Cole drops him with an enzuigiri on the apron, Cole playing to the crowd and Kyle drags him out of the ring and throws him into the barricade repeatedly. Kyle rushes at Adam, but he hits a boot to Kyle then a overhead belly to belly suplex before getting back into the ring. Kyle hits a kitchen sink then a kick to the back of Cole for a quick 2 count. Kyle goes for a rear naked choke, but Cole counters then Kyle goes to the top rope, but Cole sends Kyle to the floor. Cole whips Kyle into the corner sternum first then back first, Kyle flying in the air as Cole says Kyle isn't in his league, Kyle spitting in his face. Kyle hits a series of kicks then a right hands that drops Cole to the mat then to the outside. Adam grabs the belt then Kyle comes off the apron, but Cole hits him right in the face with the belt. Cole grabs a trash can and hits Kyle in the top of he head with it then puts it over him, hitting a superkick then brings a chair and a trash can lid into the ring. Cole hits Kyle in the back with the chair then the gut, but Kyle just takes it then drops Cole. Kyle sets up a chair then runs into Cole then hits a back drop onto it. Kyle goes for a kneebar, but Cole kicks him in the head to break it up then Kyle goes into a flying armbar, but Cole gets to the ropes. Kyle sits Cole in a chair and kicks him repeatedly before hitting him with the trash can then dives off the apron and hits a shot gun dropkick into the trash can and Cole. Kyle brings a table out from under the ring and sets it up then puts Cole on top of it, but Cole gets up when Kyle is on the top rope then Kyle slides out of the back before getting behind him and hitting a back drop through the table for a close 2 count on Cole. They get on the apron then exchange low blows as Kyle puts a standing guillotine on Cole, but they fall off of the apron and Cole is essentially DDT'd through a table at ringside. Next Kyle grabs a chain as we see that Cole is busted on, Kyle tying the chain to the top rope, but it falls then Cole hits the Last Shot for a close 2 count. Cole goes under the ring and brings out a bag of thumbtacks and pours them out on the mat then tries to German Kyle onto them, but Kyle hits a series of kicks then puts Cole in a guillotine then transitions into a triangle choke, but Cole manages to slam Kyle into the thumbtacks. Kyle misses a superkick then hits a brainbuster on Cole in the tacks then puts on an armbar as Adam Cole taps out and Kyle O'Reilly picks up the win.

Winner: Kyle O'Reilly via submission
