Last summer, for some reason, The Farmborough Country Music Festival in New York City listed among the banned items:
- Chain Wallets
and of course
- WWE Superstar Seth Rollins
This seemed odd.
Rollins himself Tweeted out this response:
At least Seth had a sense of humor about it.
But this year, 2700 miles away, it has happened again.
At the Watershed Country Music Festival, taking place in the Gorge Amphitheater in rural Washington state, halfway between Seattle and Spokane, a friend of Smackdown Play-by-Play announcer Mauro Ranallo spotted Seth Rollins on another banned list.
Yes, among other offending items such as:
- Selfie Sticks
- Laser Pointers
- Hula Hoops
and of course,
- Bad Attitudes.
And sandwiched right between Aerosol Cans and Squirt Guns, is WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.
This time however, Seth doesn't seem to be taking it in stride:
Perhaps this is simply a coincidence, or an inside joke, or maybe there's a bi-coastal Country- Music-Festival-promoter/SHIELD-superfan who never really got over this:
And now his life's work is dedicated to driving Seth Rollins insane, one Banned List at a time.
There is a twist to the story, though. That country music festival from last year, Farmborough, is now defunct. It was canceled after only one year. Now, it's possible that Farmborough was canceled because the promoters wildly overestimated the number of country music fans in Manhattan. But it's also possible, however improbable, that Seth Rollins holds a grudge and knows some very powerful people in the music biz who owe him a favor.
It's also possible that Rollins had a gypsy place a curse on them. It's 50/50 at this point.
Either way, the folks at The Watershed Festival had better watch their backs.
You can't just ban Seth Rollins and get away with it.
