After 157 matches, STARDOM has finally found its 2022 5STAR Grand Prix winner following the finals event on Saturday. The show featured 13 matches, which would crown the winners of the Red Stars Block and Blue Stars Block before those two would go onto the finals in the main event of the show.
STARDOM fans got a chance to see a number of highly anticipated matches on the night including Giulia vs. Suzu Suzuki, Maika vs. Himeka for the very first time, and a rematch between Syuri and Risa Sera from their World of Stardom Championship match earlier this year.
In the final, Giulia and Tam Nakano met for the fifth time in their careers with Giulia coming out as the winner of the 2022 5STAR Grand Prix. This comes one year after she was forced out of the tournament due to injury.
