Every year, STARDOM holds two major singles tournaments. One is the highly-regarded round-robin style 5STAR Grand Prix, which has become a favorite for old and new fans. The other is perhaps their most unique tournament which of course is the Cinderella Tournament. Beginning in 2015, the Cinderella Tournament has played as a launching point to countless stars' rise to the main event with the Wonder of Stardom Championship more often than not being the prize pursued.
Each winner earns a "wish" and with that wish, we've seen the winner select a championship match. What makes the bracket-style, single-elimination tournament so great are the rules of the matches for the majority of the tournament.
Originally a one-night tournament, the 10-minute time limit for each match that isn't the final to go along with the rules of winning via pinfall, submission, or over-the-top rope. This has led to countless big surprises and upsets which is sure to continue this year.
