STARDOM returned to pay-per-view on Sunday for the second weekend in a row, this time with MidSummer Champions 2023. The show is the final major stop ahead of STARDOM's premier tournament, the 5STAR Grand Prix, which begins on July 23 live inside Ota City General Gymnasium.
The card for the final pay-per-view ahead of the tournament featured Tam Nakano's first Wonder of Stardom Championship defense since becoming a Double Champion as she defended the championship against back-to-back Cinderella Tournament winner MIRAI, who used her wish to get a shot at the championship for the second-straight year.
Also set for the card was an Indian Strap Match between Natsupoi and Saori Anou as their long time history came to a head in the main event.
