WWE 205 Results 4/4 Number One Contender Fatal Four Way Match & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE 205 Live! Tonight after defeating The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived this past Sunday at Wrestlemania, there is a need to determine a new number one contender for Neville's Cruiserweight Championship and that's exactly what will happen in our main event as Austin Aries, TJ Perkins, Jack Gallagher and Mustafa Ali look to be next in line to try and dethrone The King of the Cruiserweights! Akira Tozawa looks to finally put an end to the weeks of torment The Brian Kendrick has put him through and Neville looks to celebrate his Wrestlemania victory and much more so be sure to come back here at 10 PM EST for all of the action!

-We open with a video package for Neville defending his WWE Cruiserweight Championship this past Sunday at Wrestlemania.

Akira Tozawa vs The Brian Kendrick

-Kendrick comes out and says lesson number ten as the crowd chants ten, saying that it's not about strength, it's about who's smarter. Kendrick gets out of the ring to start the match, then gets back in before Tozawa hits him with a series of forearms and a kick before he hits a PK high angle senton for a quick two count. They exchange chops once he's back up, then Kendrick rolls him up before Tozawa drops him with a discus forearm. Kendrick pokes him in the eye and dropkicks him for a quick two count, then tries to lock in The Captain's Hook, but can't and puts him in a camel clutch instead. Tozawa gets out of it, then dropkicks Kendrick before he whips Kendrick across the ring and hits a boot in the corner, then hits a huricanrrana that sends him to the apron. Tozawa then knocks Kendrick off of the apron before diving through the ropes and putting him back into the ring, Kendrick catching him on the top rope and Tozawa falls in pain. Tozawa then rolls Kendrick up once he distracts him for the pin and the win.

Winner: Akira Tozawa via pinfall

Oney Lorcan vs Rich Swann

Lorcan whips Swann in to the corner and hits him with a series of running back elbows, then they flip before Lorcan turns Swann inside out with a lariat for a near fall. Lorcan locks in an octopus stretch, but Swann fights out of it, only to be hit with a kitchen sink and hung on the top rope for another quick two count. Lorcan puts Swann in a body scissor, but Swann gets out of it, then gets caught on the top turnbuckle. Lorcan goes for a half and half suplex, but Swann lands on his feet, then drops Lorcan with a thrust kick before Lorcan hits a running Alabama slam for a near fall. Swann comes back and drops Lorcan repeatedly before jumping over Lorcan and hitting a back kick to the face. Swann chops Lorcan, then gets caught with a superkick before Swann hits a frankensteiner and a phoenix splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rich Swann via pinfall

-After the match Rich gets on the mic and talks about Alicia, then says that he was the one who gave Alicia all of the gifts the past weeks. 

-We see Drew and Ali backstage, Drew trying to convince him to wrestle more conservatively.

-We then see Trent Seven, Mark Andrews, Wolfgang and Pete Dunne on the ramp before Tyler Bate comes out with his title. We are then told about the UK guys touring with 205 Live and that there is a weekly UK show coming soon as we go to commercial.

-Neville comes out next and talks about retaining his belt at Wrestlemania, finally getting a Wrestlemania moment that had been stolen from him the previous year and that there is no one on his level. He talks about people saying that he cheated and that he was desperate, saying that he exploited Aries' injured eye because he deserved it, then demands three cheers for the King of the Cruiserweights that the crowd goes along with. Neville says that he would like to thank the fans for never believing in him. Neville goes on to thank Aries and the entire roster of 205 Live, saying that their persistent, futile attempts to beat him has done nothing, but bolster his reputation. Neville then says that he's going to be ringside for the main event, saying that they're just four more lambs ready for the slaughter as we go to commercial.

TJ Perkins vs Mustafa Ali vs Austin Aries vs Jack Gallagher

They brawl, then it leaves Aries and TJ in the ring, TJ hitting a double arm drag when Jack comes back in, then sends Ali out of the ring before diving over the top rope onto him. Jack boots him off of the apron, then goes for his umbrella senton, but Aries grabs him, then dropkicks him out of the ring before reclining on the top rope. Aries elbows TJ, then gets elbowed back before TJ bull dogs Aries and clotheslines Jack when he runs back in. TJ takes out Aries with a pendulum dropkick, then Ali takes him out with a wheel kick before Jack stands on his head in the corner. TJ sends Ali out of the ring with a missile dropkick, then locks Jack in a kneebar, but Aries puts TJ in the Last Chancery before Ali dropkicks them to break up the dual submissions.

Ali hits a springboard cross body for a quick two count, then Aries hits a double reverse DDT on TJ and Jack before Ali rolls in with a neckbreaker for a near fall on all three men. Jack and Aries use TJ as a step ladder and superplex Ali before Aries pins Ali and Jack pins TJ for a near fall. Aries dives out of the ring and takes out both Ali and TJ, then Jack grabs his umbrella . Jack hits a senton off of the top rope onto everyone at ring side with his umbrella as the crowd chants Mary Poppins, then Ali hits TJ with a tornado DDT, but Aries breaks it up. Ali gets dropkicked off of the top rope and to the floor, then Jack headbutts Aries before Aries hits him with a forearm, Jack falling on Aries for a near fall. TJ and Jack exchange forearms, then European uppercuts before TJ comes back with a flurry of strikes and hits a Detonation Kick before Jack headbutts TJ, Aries running in and hitting TJ with what he calls a Discus Fivearm for the pin and the win.
