WWE held a live event on Dec. 30 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The SmackDown live event was headlined by Roman Reigns taking on King Corbin in a street fight. The show also saw 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt defend the WWE Universal Championship in a triple threat match against Daniel Bryan and The Miz, and Braun Strowman teamed with New Day to take on Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Shinsuke Nakamura. In news coming out of the show, Kalisto may have suffered an injury during the Lucha House Party vs. Revival bout. The match seemingly ended abruptly and Kalisto was checked out by officials.
