WWE Main Event Report For 10/11/2019: Cedric Alexander vs. Cesaro, Plus The Revival In Action

The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) vs. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

The match begins with Wilder kicking Hawkins in the midsection before landing a few more strikes, Wilder corners Hawkins while landing more strikes. Hawkins fights back to hit Wilder with a slam and elbow drop, Hawkins then works over the arm of Wilder before tagging Ryder in. Ryder twists on the arm of Wilder before eating a few strikes, Wilder then hits a leaping Ryder with a power slam for a near fall. Dawson tags in and he works with Wilder to slingshot Ryder into the middle rope, Dawson also nails Ryder with a back suplex before tagging Wilder in. Wilder nails Ryder with an assisted leg drop for a near fall, Wilder slows things down further by holding Ryder in a chin lock. Dawson tags in and he nails a downed Ryder with an elbow drop for a near fall, Dawson picks up Ryder to attack him with a few strikes. Wilder interferes and he drops Ryder on the middle rope, Ryder fights back and he nails Dawson with a face buster. Hawkins and Wilder are tagged in by their respective partners, Hawkins quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team.

Hawkins nails Wilder with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall, Ryder and Dawson get sent out of the ring after interfering. Dawson tags in and The Revival hit Hawkins with a Shatter Machine for a three count.

Winners: The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)

- Highlights are shown from the Smackdown premier on Fox.

- The first Raw Flashback shows Brock Lesnar destroying Rey & Dominick Mysterio from two weeks back, which is followed by Lesnar defeating Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship and then the WWE debut of Cain Velasquez.

- The next Raw Flashback shows Lana and Bobby Lashley getting intimate in her bedroom, followed by an angry Rusev destroying King Corbin and Randy Orton.

Cedric Alexander vs. Cesaro

The match begins with Cesaro getting Alexander in a headlock, Alexander gets free and he gets Cesaro in a headlock of his own. Cesaro backs Alexander into the ropes before landing a few strikes, Cesaro corners Alexander before landing more strikes. Alexander fights back and he takes Cesaro down with a head scissors takedown, Cesaro gets up and Alexander nails him with a drop kick. Alexander follows up with a few chops before Cesaro drops him with a right, Cesaro corners Alexander again before landing more strikes. Alexander fights back and he nails Cesaro with another drop kick, Alexander goes for a springboard move and Cesaro trips him up as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Cesaro holding Alexander in an abdominal stretch, Alexander gets free and he nails Cesaro with a few strikes. Cesaro recovers and he nails Alexander with a clothesline for a near fall, Cesaro holds Alexander down while applying a modified chin lock. Alexander fights his way free and he hits Cesaro with a knee strike, Alexander then cracks Cesaro with a spinning elbow strike.

Alexander follows up by hitting Cesaro with a springboard flat liner for a near fall, Cesaro takes Alexander down before landing a boot to the face for a near fall. Cesaro and Alexander have a brief striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Alexander escapes the grasp of Cesaro to exchange more strikes. Alexander ends the exchange by nailing Cesaro with a Neuralizer and Lumbar Check for a three count.
