WWE Main Event Report For November 16: Luke Harper vs. Apollo Crews & Breezango In Action

Welcome to this week’s edition of WWE Main Event, your commentary team for the evening are Tom Phillips and David Otunga.

Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) vs. The Vaudevillains (Aiden English & Simon Gotch)

The match begins with English over powering Fandango before attacking him in the corner, Fandango responds by dropping English with a clothesline. Fandango takes English down with an arm drag before landing a leg drop, Breeze tags in and he double teams English for a near fall. Gotch tags in and he catches Breeze with a series of strikes, Breeze recovers and nails a charging Gotch with a flying forearm strike. English distracts Breeze and Gotch knocks him to the arena floor, English tags in and he works over Breeze on the arena floor. English tosses Breeze back into the ring to get a near fall, Gotch tags back in and he drops Breeze before a pin attempt.

Gotch starts working over the arm of Breeze, Breeze fights back and he eventually drops Gotch with the Enzuigiri. Fandango and English get the tags from their respective partners, Fandango drops a charging English with a spin kick for a near fall. Gotch hits the ring and Fandango nails him with an Enzuiguri, Breeze hits English with a super kick and Fandango nails him with a falcon Arrow for the near fall.

Winners: Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango)

Our first Raw Flashback of the night shows WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns defeat the team of Cesaro and Sheamus.

The next Raw Flashback shows us the final altercation between Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman before WWE Survivor Series.

Apollo Crews vs. Luke Harper

The match begins with Harper powering Crews into the corner before assaulting him with strikes. Harper takes Crews down with a headlock after that. Harper then drops Crews with a shoulder tackle, and Crews and Harper go through a series of reversals that ends with Crews nailing Harper with a drop kick. Harper rolls to the arena floor and he nails Crews with a super kick when Crews gets out of the ring, we go to a commercial break. We return from the break and see Harper locking Crews in the cross face submission. Crews tries fighting back and he nails a charging Harper with a boot to the face.

Harper recovers and he nails a charging Crews with a sidewalk slam for a near fall, Harper brings Crews to the corner to attack him with chops. Harper punishes Crews further by nailing him with a slingshot in between the ropes, Harper holds Crews down while applying the chin lock. Crews fights back and he drops Harper with a flying boot to the face, Crews then hits Harper with a series of kicks and a flying clothesline as well. Crews then clobbers Harper with the Enzuiguri before nailing him with a high cross body for a near fall, Harper recovers by nailing Crews with a sit out powerbomb for a near fall. Harper sets up for the powerbomb and Crews counters with an Olympic Slam followed by the standing shooting star press for a two count. Harper recovers to hit Crews with a knee strike followed by a discus clothesline for the three count.

Winner: Luke Harper

The final Raw Flashback of the evening shows the debate between Stephanie McMahon/Mick Foley (Raw) and Shane McMahon/Daniel Bryan (Smackdown), followed by the brawl between Team Raw and Team Smackdown.
