WWE NXT (12/5/2023) Results: Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifiers, Meta Four vs Alpha Academy, More

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, WWE hosted a new episode of NXT on the USA Network. The show was headlined by the Men's and women's last-chance qualifiers for the Iron Survivor Challenge.

• Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Last Chance Qualifier - Fatal Four Way Match: Fallon Henley def. Kiana James, Roxanne Perez & Thea Hail (w/ Jacy Jayne).
• NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria was interviewed by Kelly Kincaid (formerly known as Quinn McKay in ROH). Valkyria said that she looked forward to the Iron Survivor Challenge, but Lola Vice confronted her by telling her not to get ahead of herself. Tatum Paxley interrupted and challenged Vice to a match.
• Wes Lee came to the ring in a crutch. Lee said he imagined slapping Dominik Mysterio around all across the arena and regaining the NXT North American Championship, but said that he won't be able to do it because he will need back surgery. NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio came to the ring to make fun of Wes Lee and said he would take the night off for NXT Deadline; however, it was revealed that Dragon Lee would be replacing Lee and challenging for the NXT North American Title at NXT Deadline. Later in the broadcast, Vic Joseph stated that Wes Lee is expected to be out for 8-12 months.
• Roxanne Perez & Kiana James brawled in the trainer's room. Ava Raine said that she would speak with Shawn Michaels to make a match between the two for NXT Deadline.
• There was a video package for all the participants of the Men's NXT Breakout Tournament.
• Lola Vice (w/ Elektra Lopez) def. Tatum Paxley.
• There was a video segment from last week showing Axiom & Nathan Frazer talking backstage, where Axiom gifted him a mask as a joke after Frazer's match against Ilja Dragunov. The two agreed to a match, which is set for tonight.
• Baron Corbin was interviewed in the NXT Parking Lot, where he said that it would be sweet when he wins the title on Saturday.
• There was a video of Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams talking backstage before the two headed out of the room.
• Joe Gacy was in the crowd for the next match. He jump-scared Vic Joseph.
• Alpha Academy (Otis, Chad Gable & Maxxine Dupri) (w/ Akira Tozawa) def. Meta-Four (Noam Dar, Oro Mensah & Lash Legend)
• Hank Walker & Tank Ledger were at Gallus's bar before they were confronted by Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang. Ledger & Walker challenged Mark Coffey & Wolfgang to a match next week, which they accepted.
• Tiffany Stratton, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley & Blair Davenport were in the Iron Survivor Challenge Summit, hosted by Byron Saxton. Everyone took verbal shots at each other before Henley attacked Stratton, leading to an all-out brawl.
• Nathan Fraser vs. Axiom ended in a No-Contest.
  • The participants of the Women's Iron Survivor Match brawled before Nikkita Lyons made her return and attacked Blair Davenport.
• Andre Chase addresses Chase University Student Body, where he revealed that the University was on Academic Probation & would not be eligible for Financial Aid. Many students, including Riley Osborne, threw suggestions to bring the University out of its financial woes.
• Lexis King called out Carmelo Hayes in a pre-recorded promo.
• Men's Iron Survivor Challenge Last Chance Qualifier - Fatal Four Way Match: Tyler Bate def. Carmelo Hayes, Eddy Thorpe & Joe Coffey.
  • DIJAK, Bron Breakker & Josh Briggs interrupted Bate's celebration to throw verbal jabs at each other ahead of their involvement in the Men's Iron Survivor Match before Trick Williams joined. Everyone brawled before security guards & referees came in to separate them all.
• Carmelo Hayes met with Ava before being confronted by Trick Wiliams. Williams asked if Hayes was with Lexis King, but Hayes said that he would not work with that sucker. Hayes said that he will face King on NXT Deadline.
• Baron Corbin & NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov came face-to-face ahead of their match at NXT Deadline. Dragunov said that Corbin's biggest mistake was making it personal with him. Corbin said that for Dragunov it was another high-profile title match, while for him the title match was his vindication for being a prominent TV Feature and was taking what was his. Corbin demanded Dragunov to attack him, but Dragunov hugged him instead and said this: "The only person that can take out the Dragon is the Dragon himself".
• Breakker, DIJAK, Bate, Briggs & Williams came back to the ring to brawl alongside referees & security guards. The ring turned into chaos to end the broadcast.
