NXT Championship Match

Adam Cole (c) vs Matt Riddle

Matt immediately takes Adam down and goes for a Fujiwara armbar, but Adam is quick to the ropes for the break before Adam backs him into the corner and stomps on Matt. Matt hits a series of gut wrench suplexes for a two count before dropping him with kicks to the chest, sending him out of the ring, Adam hitting Matt with a roundhouse kick when he goes to grab him. Adam sends Matt into the ring steps and back into the ring before he stomps and chokes him in the corner, Adam dropping Matt with a back elbow when he runs the ropes before hitting a hanging neckbreaker for a two count. Adam hits an ushigaroshi for a two count and locks in a rear chin lock before locking in a head scissor, Matt rolling around before bridging and getting a two count before Adam superkicks him. Matt comes back with open hand palm strikes and a kick into a flying forearm and a senton into a shining wizard for a near fall before they counter each other until Matt hits the Final Flash and a fisherman's buster for a near fall.

Matt hits a dead lift German suplex for a near fall before following up with Kawada kicks and goes for a burning hammer that Adam turns into a back stabber in mid-air for a near fall. They exchange superkicks until Matt hits a release German suplex and Adam an ushigaroshi for a near fall before Matt hits an enzuigiri and Adam boots him off of the apron and down onto the floor. Matt catches Matt with a bicycle knee and rolls him back into the ring before he goes for the Floating Bro, but Adam gets his knees up before Adam hits the Panama Sunrise for a near fall. Matt collapses when Adam goes for the Final Shot before Matt counters second Panama Sunrise into a GTS into a powerbomb and the Floating Bro for a very close near fall. Adam hits several superkicks into a Panama Sunrise before Matt ducks the Last Shot and locks in the Bromission before Adam rolls back for a two count and Matt locks in the Fujiwara armbar.

Adam then gets a near fall off of a crucifix before Matt reapplies a Fujiwara armbar and Adam hits Matt with his cast before finishing with the Last Shot for the pin and the win.

Winner: Adam Cole retains his NXT Championship by defeating Matt Riddle via pinfall with the Last Shot.

-After the match Finn Bálor comes out to the ring and says that he's NXT before they square off in the center of the ring and Adam leaves when Finn approaches him before we get a video package for the NXT Women's Championship match between the champion Shayna Baszler and the challenger Candice LeRae.

-The Velveteen Dream comes out onto the stage and cuts a promo on Roderick Strong, challenging him to a match for the North American Championship before the Cruiserweight Championship match between Drew Gulak and Lio Rush is announced for next week.

Io Shirai vs Mia Yim

Mia hits a series of arm drags and an inverted atomic drop before she chops Io at ringside and Io hits a 619 as we go to commercial.

Io hits several dragon screws into a basement dropkick for a two count before Mia slaps her and Io hits a bulldog before hitting a flap jack into a hand stand double knee drop for a two count. Io misses running knees in the corner before Mia counters a Tiger bomb into an overhead belly to belly suplex before hitting a flurry of strikes into a shotgun dropkick for a two count. Mia with Kawada kicks before Io counters a huricanrrana for a two count and hits a 619 before hitting a springboard dropkick for a two count and Mia hits Code Blue for a near fall. Io rolls out of the ring to catch her breath before Mia hits a suicide dive as we go to commercial.

Io then hits a superplex for a near fall and drops Mia with a rolling kick before hitting a moonsault for the pin and the win.

Winner: Io Shirai defeats Mia Yim via pinfall with a moonsault.
