This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! Tonight we have a very special show because in our main event we have a rematch for the NXT World Championship as Samoa Joe looks to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura once again and in his home country no less! Will Shinsuke become a two time NXT World Champion or will Samoa Joe keep the King of Strong Style off of the throne? Be sure to come back here at 8PM EST to find out!
-Team #DIY come out to celebrate their winning the tag belts at TakeOver: Toronto. The Authors of Pain come out and interrupt them and Paul says the prophecy has come true and that their celebration is premature as The Revival come out. The Revival say they deserve a rematch and that the only reason AOP won the Dusty Classic is because they weren't in it as AOP come down and get in the faces of The Revival. AOP shove them and they back off, Paul saying the next chapter shall be written by AOP and they'll be the next champions. Someone named Percy Watson who was on NXT in the past joins on the commentary team, apparently a permanent third person on the team.
No Way Jose & Rich Swann vs SAnitY
Wolfe and Jose start it off, locking up then exchanging strikes, Jose hitting a flapjack then tags in Swann who sends Wolfe to the outside. Swann drops Wolfe then hits him with a series of chops then goes for a head scissor, but Wolfe catches him and tags in EY who tosses him out of the ring. EY stomps on him on the outside as we go to commercial.
EY whips Rich into the turnbuckle for a quick 2 count then chokes him in the corner, Rich dropping EY with a dropkick then goes to tag in Jose, but EY stops him and chokes him from behind in the corner, hanging him from the second turnbuckle then hits a knee drop for a quick 2 count. Wolfe is tagged in and stomps on Swann before dancing like he's at a metal concert, flailing his arms around and head banging. Swann and Wolfe hit a double clothesline then Swann tags in Jose as Wolfe tags in EY. Jose drops EY repeatedly then hits a TKO for a close 2 count that Wolfe breaks up then Swann sends Wolfe to the outside, hitting a phoenix splash to the outside. EY sends Jose to the outside then Jose drops him with a right hand as Wolfe sends Swann face first into the stairs as Big Damo, now known as just Damo appears and takes out Jose as EY hits Young Blood for the pin and the win.
Winner: SAnitY via pinfall
-William Regal says The Revival get a rematch against #DIY in January then the winner gets to face Authors of Pain at TakeOver: San Antonio. Regal announces the #1 contender tournament and tells Tye Dillinger that he'll be in it then picks up his famous brass knuckles with a sigh as we go to commercial.
-As we come back someone tries to get a word from EY about what happened and he leaves then Nikki stops and stares at the women's title sitting on a container then as she goes to touch it, Asuka comes out of no where and grabs it then they look at each other and smile as we go back to the arena and have Ember Moon come out.
Ember Moon vs Kimber Lee
They start with a test of strength and some flips then Ember hits Lee with a series of kicks before Lee hits a side slam for a quick 2 count, putting on a unique submission then a Gedo clutch for another quick 2 count. They exchange chops then Lee hits a head scissor then Lee kicks her in the head for another quick 2 count. Moon hits a front flip forearm then hits her finisher on Lee for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ember Moon via pinfall
Samoa Joe vs Shinsuke Nakamura NXT Championship Match
They exchange kicks early then lock up for a clean break as Shinsuke tells Joe to bring it then hits him with knees repeatedly then hits Good Vibrations in the corner twice before Joe goes to the outside. Joe rakes at Shinsuke's eyes as we gets back in the ring as we go to commercial.
Joe has Shinsuke in an STF then into a cross face as we come back, Shinsuke getting to the ropes then takes Joe down, transitioning into an armbar then a triangle choke, hitting Joe with a series of elbows, Joe getting his foot to the ropes. Shinsuke hits a German suplex on Joe then goes for the Kinshasa, but Joe hits a powerslam for a close 2 count. Joe chops Shinsuke in the corner then sits him on the top rope and goes for the Muscle Buster, but Shinsuke gets out then goes for a Kinshasa, but Joe gets out of the way and puts the Coquina Clutch on Shinsuke then hits a series of German suplexes then a t-bone suplex for a close 2 count. Joe tries to use the stairs again, but Shinsuke powers out of it and hits a knee to the back of Joe as his face runs into the stairs. They exchange forearms then Shinsuke hits a series of kicks that drops Joe, Shinsuke puts Joe on his shoulders, but falls down with him and Joe falls to the outside. Shinsuke hits a knee off the top rope then hits a Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall
