This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT. Tonight we have a great show as in our main event Street Profits take on the Authors of Pain to determine a new number one contender for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Heavy Machinery vs Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss
Tino and Otis start the match off by locking up before Otis shoves him away, then Tino dropkicks Otis, but only stumbles him before Otis catches and slams Tino down to the mat. Otis tags Tucker in and he hits a slingshot senton for a quick two count before swinging Tino around the ring in a front face lock. Moss gets tagged in and gets into the ropes to avoid the swing himself at first only for Tucker to end up swinging him around anyway. Otis comes in and he and Tucker double team Moss before Otis does the worm and hits an elbow drop for a quick two count. Moss chop blocks Otis before tagging Tino in and the two start tagging in and out and stomping Otis in their corner.
Otis manages to tag Tucker in and he takes out both Tino and Moss with a hip toss and a dropkick before sending Tino out of the ring. Moss then uses the ropes as leverage to pin Tucker for the win.
Winner: Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli via pinfall
-The Undisputed Era cut a promo about NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. We then get a video package for Aleister Black and Adam Cole's Extreme Rules Match at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia.
Roderick Strong vs Fabian Aichner
They lock up to start the match before exchanging wrist locks, Aichner dropping Strong with a shoulder block before Strong dropkicks him. Fabian then catches Strong in midair before hitting a powerslam as we go to commercial.
Fabian has Roderick in an abdominal stretch as we come back from commercial until he drops him with a back press. Fabian goes for a powerbomb, but Roderick counters and clotheslines him before hitting him with a chip and a running forearm in the corner. Strong hits a backbreaker for a quick two count when he catches Fabian coming off of the top rope, then Fabian drops Roderick with a European uppercut before hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Strong then catches Fabian coming off of the top again and hits a backbreaker before locking in the Strong Hold for the tap and the win.
Winner: Roderick Strong via submission
-After the match Roderick cuts a promo about how he's going to beat Lars Sullivan at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. We then get a video package for TM61 where they talk about their careers in and out of NXT as TMDK.
Aliyah vs Lacey Evans
They lock up to start the match before exchanging wrist locks until Aliyah trips Lacey and gets a quick two count. Aliyah gets another quick two count off of a crucifix before Lacey grabs her and scrapes her face against the top rope. Lacey hits a leg drop for a quick two count before stomping Aliyah in the corner, Aliyah coming back with a series of forearms and European uppercuts before hitting a bridging suplex for a near fall. Lacey then drops an exhausted Aliyah with a right and knocks her out when she catches her running in for the pin and the win.
Winner: Lacey Evans via pinfall
-After the match Lacey says that she wants Ember Moon before Shayna Baszler comes out and scares her off before getting in the ring and choking out Aliyah until Ember Moon comes out to save her. Shayna lets go of the hold right before Ember makes it in the ring and escapes up the ramp, Ember calling her into the ring, but Shayna opts to leave as we go to commercial.
-We come back from commercial to William Regal backstage saying that against his better judgement Ember Moon will defend her NXT Women's Championship against Shayna Baszler at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia.
-Johnny Gargano comes out to the ring and talks about how it is his time and he will beat Andrade Almas and become the new NXT champion. Johnny then agrees to put his title shot on the line next week against Velveteen Dream.
NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Match
Street Profits vs Authors of Pain
Montez and Akam start the match off, Akam beating Montez down as soon as the match starts before tagging Rezar in, Rezar putting Montez in a full nelson they be nearly passes out in before trying to fight it off. Rezar then drops Montez and stomps on him before reapplying it as we go to commercial.
Rezar gets a quick two count as we come back from commercial and tags Akam in, Akam putting Montez in a front choke before Montez finally tags Angelo in. Angelo takes out Rezar when he comes in before hitting a huge splash to Akam for a near fall that Rezar breaks up. AOP then hit the Super Collider and the Last Chapter for the pin and the win.
Winner: Authors of Pain defeat Street Profits via pinfall with The Super Collider and the Last Chapter to become the new NXT Tag Team Championship number one contenders.
