This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT. Tonight history will be made as NXT is making its broadcast debut on USA Network as part of WWE Week and the show is packed with action as in our main event Adam Cole takes on Aleister Black, Andrade Almas faces Fabian Aichner and much more so be sure to come back here at 7PM EST rather than the usual 8PM EST start time for all of the action!
Andrade Almas vs Fabian Aichner
Almas dropkicks Aichner before the match starts, then Aichner sends Almas out of the ring once it does start. Aichner hits a springboard cross body to the outside before rolling Almas back into the ring and hitting a tornado DDT off of the top for a near fall. Aichner hits a fall away slam before Almas knocks him off of the top and to the floor, then sends him into the steps. Almas then rolls Aichner back into the ring and hits his finisher for the pin and the win.
Winner: Andrade Almas via pinfall
-We get a video package for Ember Moon and how she became NXT Women's champion at NXT TakeOver WarGames as we go to commercial.
Danny Birch & Oney Lorcan vs Authors of Pain
They brawl to start the match before AOP take then out and hit the Super Collider and the Last Chapter for the pin and the win in under ninety seconds.
Winner: Authors of Pain via pinfall
-We get a vignette for the forthcoming Shayna Baszler.
Adam Cole vs Aleister Black
They lock up to start the match for a clean break before Adam plays to the crowd, then Aleister powers out of a side headlock and sends Adam out of the ring before sitting in the ring with his legs crossed as we go to commercial.
Adam is in control as we come back from commercial, putting Aleister in a modified cross face before Black manages to get to the ropes for the break. Adam stomps on Aleister in the corner before playing to the crowd, then Black comes back with a series of kicks and a running forearm in the corner into a springboard moonsault. Adam gets out of the ring to regroup, then goes for a move off of the top, but Aleister kicks him in midair for a near fall. Adam hits an enzuigiri into a backstabber for a near fall of his own before the two exchange forearms and kicks. Adam then hits an ushigaroshi for a near fall before Black counters a superkick and drops Adam with a high knee before knocking him out with the Black Mass for the pin and the win.
Winner: Aleister Black via pinfall
