We are just days away from NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, but tonight we have the finale of the Dusty Classic when Authors of Pain take on Pete Dunne & Roderick Strong, Kairi Sane is in action and Killian Dain and Lars Sullivan clash tonight before the WWE North American Championship Tournament Ladder Match this Saturday night. Dusty Classic Tag Team Tournament Finals Match
Authors of Pain vs Pete Dunne & Roderick Strong
AOP double team Strong to start the match before Pete is quick to get the tag and lock up with Akam as we go to commercial.
AOP start tagging in and out and beating on Pete as we come back from commercial for a near fall before Rezar beats on Pete and plays to the crowd as he and Akam continue to tag in and out and double team Pete. Pete comes back with a finger snap into s roundhouse kick and a spinning flapjack before finally tagging Strong in. Roderick takes out Akam on the apron before dropping Rezar with a flurry of offense. Strong hits a wrecking ball dropkick to Akam at ringside before hitting an Olympic slam to Rezar for a near fall. Strong tags Pete in and he hits a double foot stomp for a near fall before Pete puts Rezar in a triangle choke he powers out of.
AOP hit a combination powerbomb neckbreaker for a very close near fall before Pete hits the Bitter End for a near fall of his own. Undisputed Era then runs in and attacks everyone for the disqualification.
Winner: No Contest due to interference by Undisputed Era.
-William Regal then comes out and announces a triple threat match this Sunday night at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans where the winners will be the NXT Tag Team Champions and the Dusty Classic winners.
-We get an extended video package for the unsanctioned match between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano this Saturday night at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.
-Kairi Sane has a squash match against Vanessa Borne where Kairi wins with the Insane Elbow
-We get an extended video package for the NXT Championship match between Andrade Almas and Aleister Black this Saturday night at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.
Lars Sullivan vs Killian Dain
They lock up repeatedly to start the match before exchanging right hands and Dain sends Lars out of the ring. Lars then drags Dain out of the ring and backs him into the apron as we go to commercial.
Lars is in control as we come back from commercial, beating on Dain before he comes back with a slam and a senton only for Lars to counter a Vader bomb. They end up on the top before both falling off of the top and to the floor only for everyone else involved in the WWE North American Championship including Ricochet.
Winner: No Contest due to interference.
