Tonight we have a great show as in our main event Johnny Gargano challenges Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship, Ruby Riot faces Sonya DeVille in their final match and much more so be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for an hour showcasing the WWE NXT brand!
Ruby Riot vs Sonya DeVille
They lock up to start the match for a clean break before Sonya rolls Ruby up for a quick two count. Ruby comes back with a series of shoulder tackles in the corner as we go to commercial.
Sonya hits Ruby with a series of forearms and a spinebuster for a near fall as we come back from commercial. Sonya drops Ruby with a roundhouse kick before Ruby comes back with a series of chops and forearms and finishes with a one legged springboard senton for a near fall. Sonya gets a near fall off of a shining wizard before locking in an ankle lock, but Ruby manages to get to the bottom rope for the break right before tapping. Ruby then hits a roundhouse kick that drops Sonya for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ruby Riot via pinfall
-We get several video packages for all of the matches from NXT TakeOver War Games and subsequent interviews with new champion Ember Moon, former champion Drew McIntyre and more as we go to commercial.
-We come from commercial to an extensive video package for the War Games match from NXT TakeOver War Games this past Saturday night.
WWE United Kingdom Championship Match
Pete Dunne (c) vs Johnny Gargano
They lock up to start the match before grappling, then Johnny fights out of a cravat, the two exchanging headlocks and head scissors until Pete drops Johnny with a forearm. Johnny sends Pete out of the ring and hits a blockbuster off of the apron before going for a tornado DDT, but Pete counters into a release suplex as we go to commercial.
Pete focuses on joint manipulation as we come back from commercial, twisting and bending the wrist of Gargano and stomping on it before Johnny suplexes him into the corner. Johnny hits a rolling Pele kick before hitting a spear through the ropes for a near fall. Pete gets out of the ring to regroup before Johnny hits a tope to the outside and a tornado DDT onto the floor. Pete hits a release suplex once they're back in the ring for a near fall when he counters an attempted slingshot DDT by Johnny, then Johnny counters the Bitter End into a DDT in midair. Johnny hits a head scissor into a variety of a cross face before Pete snaps his fingers to get out of it.
Gargano gets a near fall off of a roll up before ripping out Pete's mouthpiece and hits a superkick for a near fall. Pete then catches Gargano with a forearm in midair when he goes for a spear through the ropes and finishes with the Bitter End for the pin and the win.
Winner: Pete Dunne defeats Johnny Gargano via pinfall with the Bitter End to retain his WWE United Kingdom Championship.
