WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto Live Viewing Party

Welcome to the Fightful.com live viewing party for WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto! Tonight is the culmination of a long road that has birthed what is arguably the most heated rivalry in NXT history between Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe, the return of a former WWE Women's champion, the second annual Dusty Tag Classic and much more. Tonight we will get the rematch that everyone has been waiting for as in the main event Shinsuke Nakamura puts his NXT World title on the line against the former champion Samoa Joe and in our co-main event Asuka will defend her NXT Women's title against former WWE Women's champion Mickie James. #DIY get their hands on The Revival and hope to finally dethrone what are arguably the most dominant tag team in NXT history and we will see who is the better man as The Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger takes on fellow Canadian Glorious Bobby Roode! We also see the finals of the Dusty Classic as the Australian force that have dominated the global tag scene TM61 take on the destructive combo of Razar and Akum led by Paul Ellering making up The Authors of Pain so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST as history will be made at the very first TakeOver event in the Six!

-We open with a video package of the history of WWE in Canada and their major events and superstars who are from there. We get a video package for how we got to TakeOver and how it is NXT's turn to make history in Canada.

Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger

Bobby comes out to a choir singing his song before the match. They exchange right hands then Tye sends Roode out of the ring repeatedly. Roode begs Tye to stop his assault, but Tye doesn't and does his signature ten finger pose then hits Roode with a right hand ten times in the corner. Roode sends Dillinger over the top rope and to the floor as he tries to recover then comes around the other side and knocks Tye down from behind into the barricade. Roode is in control as he gets Tye back into the ring and hits an elbow drop off the top rope, playing to the crowd then goes for a neckbreaker, but Tye gets a quick 2 count off of a back slide. Roode hits a neckbreaker for a quick 2 count then Roode hits Tye with right hands in the corner. Tye drops Roode repeatedly then stomps on him in the corner ten times. Tye teases the Tye Breaker, but Roode rolls out of the ring and acts like he's leaving, but Tye puts him back in and Roode uses the opportunity to hit a spinebuster for a close 2 count. Roode sits Tye on the top rope then hits a superplex off the top rope for another very close 2 count. Roode mocks Tye then goes for the Tye Breaker, but Dillinger dodges it then Roode rolls up Dillinger for a quick 2 then Tye rolls him up. Tye hits a superkick for a close 2 count as they both fall to the mat exhausted. They exchange right hands and forearms in the center of the ring then Tye goes for the Tye Breaker, but Roode counters it, going for a DDT, but Bobby counters it then Tye puts on a sharpshooter, but Roode gets to the ropes. Roode tosses Tye into the post then hits a DDT for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall

-We have Asuka getting ready backstage and a plug for The Authors of Pain and TM61 in the Dusty Classic finale.

Authors of Pain vs TM61 Dusty Classic Tag Tournament Finals Match

Before the match Paul Ellering is suspended over the ring in a shark cage that is slowly lowered like a tiny hell in a cell. Ellering reluctantly gets inside and the cage is then locked and he's raised up above the ring. Akum and Miller start it off and Nick hits Akum with a series of forearms, Thorne tagging himself in then they send Akum then Razar out of the ring, Miller diving out onto Akum as Razar tries to climb scaffolding with Thorne on his shoulders then Thorne hits a swanton bomb off the top of it and takes out both members of AOP. Thorne is yanked off the apron then Razar rolls him back into the ring for a quick 2 count. Akum gets a quick 2 count of his own then puts on a side headlock, AOP looking up at Ellering throughout the match for instructions. Akum tosses him across the ring for another quick 2 count then misses a splash, Razar getting tagged in then Thorne hits a shotgun dropkick, tagging in Miller who drops both members of AOP. Miller hits a sliding forearm to each of them then hits a moonsault onto Razar for a close 2 count. TM61 hit a double huricanrrana on Razar then hit Thunder Valley, but Akum breaks up the pin. Ellering drops a chain from the cage then Thorne gets a roll up for a quick 2 the chain flying into the crowd. Akum hits a spinebuster then Razar drops Miller with a boot. AOP hit The Last Chapter for the pin and the win.

-After the match AOP are awarded the trophy with HHH, William Regal and Dustin Rhodes to congratulate them.

-Next we get a video package for #DIY and The Revival.

The Revival vs #DIY NXT Tag Team Championship Match 2 out of 3 Falls Match

Gargano and Dawson start off the match, Gargano getting a close 2 count almost immediately then they lock up, Dawson hitting a series of forearms then knocks Gargano down repeatedly. Ciampa comes in and #DIY hit a double dropkick, sending Wilder to the outside. Dawson drags Ciampa around by the beard then tags in Wilder, Ciampa and Wilder exchanging strikes then Wilder tags Dawson back in. Dawson hits a scoop slam then tags Wilder back in before dropping him on Ciampa for a quick 2 count. Gargano and Dawson are tagged in then Gargano chops them both, following up with a bulldog then a suplex on Dawson for a quick 2 count. Gargano dives into the ring from the apron and The Revival hit The Shatter Machine for the first fall of the match.

Gargano tries to roll up Dawson, but only gets a quick 2 count then Dawson traps him in the ropes before hitting a suplex for a quick 2 count. The Revival hit Gargano with a series of strikes then hit a leg sweep elbow drop for another quick 2 count. Dawson puts Gargano in a Gory Special then gets out and drops Wilder on the apron. Gargano hits a spinning DDT then hits Dawson with a kick. Gargano tries to get to Ciampa and Wilder pulls him off the apron from under the ring. Ciampa chases Dawson around the ring then Dawson hits The Heart Attack for a very close 2 count. Gargano hits a cross body then Dawson gets back in, Ciampa finally getting in. Ciampa hits a shotgun dropkick off the top rope then a running knee then drops Dawson repeatedly. Ciampa hits a famouser for a close 2 count then hits a series of German suplexes on Dawson before hitting a running knee for a very close 2 count. Ciamap hits a cross body for a quick 2 count then #DIY hit a running knee and superkick to Dawson for the pin and the match becomes even at 1-1

Wilder and Ciampa exchange forearms in the center of the ring then Dawson gets tagged in, Gargano getting tagged in then hits a springboard DDT for a very close 2 count. The Revival hit a superkick German suplex combo for a very close 2 count that Ciampa breaks up then Dawson sends Ciampa to the outside. Dawson gets tagged in then Gargano hits both members of The Revival repeatedly with forearms then Gargano rolls Dawson up for a close 2 count. Ciampa sends Wilder over the top rope then Gargano kicks a belt that Wilder brought into the ring when he tries to kick Dawson. Dawson puts an inverted figure four on Gargano who just barely gets to the ropes. Wilder gets tagged in then Wilder superkicks Dawson before #DIY hit a Shatter Machine of their own for a very close 2 count that Dawson breaks up. Dawson gets a very close 2 count, but the referee calls him out for holding the tights then Gargano sends Dawson to the outside. Wilder and Gargano try at least five pinning attempts then #DIY put a double submission on The Revival and both are forced to tap out for the final fall.

Winner: #DIY 2-1 via submission

-We get a video package for the career of Asuka where she talks about what her name means and how we got to the point of her facing Mickie James.

Asuka vs Mickie James NXT Women's Championship Match

They start off fast then lock up, each getting a quick 2 count off of it then break cleanly, the two shaking hands and facing off head to head. Mickie puts a side headlock on Asuka who gets out of it quickly then Asuka focuses on the arm of Mickie then Mickie hits a snapmare into a dropkick that sends Asuka to the outside for the first time in her career so far. Mickie welcomes her back in and she obliges, Mickie and Asuka alternating hammer locks. Mickie goes for an armbar, but Asuka puts a headscissor on then Asuka hits a kick. They run the ropes then Asuka hits a hiop attack that sends Mickie to the outside, Asuka starting to let Mickie back in then hits another hip attack while she's tied up in the ropes. Asuka misses on off the apron then Mickie hits a kick then a huricanrrana that sends Asuka to the floor. Asuka puts on an ankle lock outside of the ring then hits a German suplex. Mickie gets back in at the count of seven then Asuka hits her repeatedly with hip attacks before tossing her across the ring. Asuka hits a dropkick to the mid section in the corner for a quick 2 count then mounts Mickie and hits her with a series of right hands. Asuka hits another hip attack then puts an octopus stretch on in the ropes. Asuka goes for another hip attack and is caught in the ropes, but gets out quickly and hits Mickie with a series of kicks, Mickie putting a single leg Boston crab on Asuka then puts on a Muta Lock, but Asuka manages to get to the ropes. They exchange forearms then Mickie hits a kick and drives Asuka's face into the turnbuckle, only for Asuka to do it to her back. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring then Asuka hits a series of slap, only for Mickie to hit her with one of her own when Asuka misses a spinning back fist. Mickie hits a neckbreaker then drops Asuka repeatedly, Asuka missing a splash then Mickie hits a flapjack. Mickie goes to the top rope and hits a seated senton for a close 2 count, Asuka putting a cross arm breaker on, but Mickie instantly gets to the ropes then hits Asuka with a kick. Mickie hits a roundhouse kick to Asuka who manages to get her foot on the rope once then Mickie tries another pin attempt, but Asuka kicks out at 2. Mickie goes for a DDT then Asuka goes for the Asuka Lock, but Mickie keeps rolling out of it, Mickie getting a quick 2 count then Asuka puts on a Cross Face Chicken Wing for the tap and the win.

-After the match Mickie tries to shake hands, but Asuka holds the title up and leaves.

-We get a video package for Shinsuke and Samoa Joe and their heated rivalry.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe NXT World Championship Match

Shinsuke comes out with a group of people playing his song on violin before the match starts down the ramp then in the ring. Shinsuke starts off aggressive with a series of kicks, but Joe lands some of his own as well as knees then Shinsuke does the same, the two locking up then Joe hits a knee. Shinsuke hits a knee to the mid section of Joe then a snapmare and finally a jumping knee. Shinsuke hits Good Vibrations then Joe goes to the outside, hitting Shinsuke with a chop then a kneebefore Shinsuke sends Joe over the barricade. They exchange right hands in the crowd then Shinsuke tosses Joe back onto the floor then back into the ring. Shinsuke hits a series of knees and punches in the corner before Joe sends him into the corner and hits a back elbow into an enzugiri that drops Nakamura. Joe face washes Shinsuke in the corner then runs the ropes, but Shinsuke hits a kitchen sink then Shinsuke hits a series of knees to the grounded Samoan. Joe hits a uranagi then drops Shinsuke before hitting an elbow drop for a quick 1 count. Joe sends the knees of Shinsuke into the mat then kicks his legs before rolling into a kneebar that Shinsuke quickly gets out of then Joe kicks his legs again. Joe drops Shinsuke with an elbow then focuses on the leg of Shinsuke again, but he gets out of it, Joe sends Shinsuke through the ropes then dives out onto him. Joe gets the stairs  then goes for a uranagi on the stairs again, but Shinsuke gets away only long enough to be dropped with a kick. Joe rolls Shinsuke back into the ring for a quick 2 count then Shinsuke drops him with a roundhouse kick. Shinsuke hits a dropkick then a series of knees then drops Joe with a kick. Shinsuke hits an enzugiri then a forearm before hitting his double running knees in the corner for a quick 2 count of his own. Shinsuke hits a series of knees to the side and head of Joe then puts on a front choke, but Joe powers out of it. Joe drops Shinsuke with a boot then a senton for a close 2 count. Joe hits a powerbomb for a quick 2 count then puts on a Boston crab before transitioning into a cross face, but Shinsuke rolls him over for a quick 2 count, Shinsuke putting on an armbar, but Joe counters then hits a powerslam for a very close 2 count. Joe hits an Enzugiri on Shinsuke on the top rope then Shinsuke pulls Joe out onto the apron then hits a knee. Shinsuke goes up top and hits a knee to the face of Joe, the two falling to the mat exhausted, not getting up until the count of 6. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring then they exchange strikes and knees, Shinsuke dropping Joe. Shinsuke goes for a reverse exploder, but Joe counters then Shinsuke hits a German suplex. Shinsuke goes for the Kinshasa, but Joe gets out of the way and takes out the leg of Shinsuke before setting him up for the Muscle Buster, Shinsuke rolling through then hits the Kinshasa for a very close 2 count. Shinsuke goes for it again and Joe puts the Cocida Clutch on, but Shinsuke gets out and Joe hits a German suplex into a Dragon suplex then a straight jacket suplex for a very close 2 count. Joe is cut above the nose as he grabs Shinsuke and goes into the ropes before Shinsuke hits a Kinashasa to the back of his head, sending Joe to the outside. Shinsuke goes for a Kinshasa on the outside, but Joe hits a low blow then Joe hits a uranagi on the steps before hitting the Muscle Buster for the pin and the win.
