WWE hosted its latest episode of Monday Night Raw on October 2, 2023. The episode features Becky Lynch defending her NXT Women's Championship against Tegan Nox in a first-time-ever bout.

Also featured on the show, Nia Jax is set to face Raquel Rodriguez, while Ivar sets his focus on getting revenge against Kofi Kingston in a Viking Rules Match, and Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes are set to be interviewed by Michael Cole after winning the WWE Tag Team Titles at WWE Fastlane. WWE Raw (10/9/2023)

- Seth Rollins kicks off the show. He promises that he just getting started as a champion but he wants one night without having to fight for his life. Drew McIntyre interrupts. They agreed to meet for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Crown Jewel. Damian Priest then sneaks up behind Rollins as McIntyre prepares to leave. When he lands South of Heaven, Priest requests that Dominik deliver him his Money In The Bank briefcase. Dominik does so, but McIntyre stops him and gives him a Glasgow Kiss. As Rollins clotheslines Priest out of the ring. Drew chucks the briefcases up the ramp.

* Viking Rules Match: Ivar def. Kofi Kingston

- Byron Saxton interviews Shinsuke Nakamura. Before Shinsuke can speak he is attacked by Ricochet.

- Judgment Day is backstage yelling at JD McDonagh. It's announced that Damian Priest and Finn Balor will challenge for the Tag Team Championship next week. Rhea Ripley tells McDonagh he needs to prove himself against Drew McIntyre tonight.

* Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez ends in a no-contest as Ripley comes out to attack both of them. Rodriguez fights back but is ultimately taken out by Ripley. Shayna Baszler arrives and is attacking Nia Jax but she's pulled off by Ripley who she ends up hitting with a running knee.

- Michael Cole interviews Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Michael Cole is very blunt with Cody when questioning Cody if he's afraid to finish the story because he failed at WrestleMania. Cody never really gets a chance to respond. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens interrupt. Zayn is congratulatory towards the new champions. Kevin Owens says he's not happy about them being Champions and he wants to face them tonight for the championship belts. Cody agrees and the match is made.

- Chad Gable is getting ready for the Triple Threat Match to determine the number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bronson Reed, who is also in the match, confronts him.

- Ricochet makes his entrance for the Triple Threat, but he's attacked from behind by Nakamura, who hits him with a GTS.

* Winner faces Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship next week: Bronson Reed def. Chad Gable and Ricochet.

- Becky Lynch cuts a promo ahead of her Championship defense against Tegan Nox. Xia Li returns to television to interrupt her. She asks Becky when it's going to be her chance to fight for the title. Becky says she's not a hard woman to find.

* Drew McIntyre def. JD McDonagh

- Wade Barret interviews Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. They speak about their history together and then Wade Barrett asks when they are going to be a team on Raw and they're blindsided by Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.

- Natalya wishes Tegan Nox good luck in her match against Becky Lynch up next.

- Adam Pearce informs Ricochet that he will face Shinsuke Nakamura next week in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. In the background of this shot, Rhea Ripley can be seen talking to Drew McIntyre.

* NXT Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) def. Tegan Nox

- Adam Pearce is talking to Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Rhea Ripley barges into his office and tells them to leave. Pearce asks what he can do for Ripley this time. She demands to get her division in order and wants to start next week by facing Shayna Baszler.

- Tegan Nox is backstage. Natalya approaches her to congratulate her on her efforts. Nox is hard on herself and says maybe she shouldn't be here since she lost. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance enter the frame and also offer support for Tegan. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven come into the shot from the other side. Some bickering leads to a match being made for next week between Piper and Nattie.

- Jey Uso is getting ready to defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Drew McIntyre walks up to him and confronts him. There is still clearly tension between the two of them. Sami Zayn enters the shot and McIntyre exits. Uso tells Zayn he appreciates him always having his back but it's go time.

- A spontaneous solo vignette for Ludwig Kaiser airs. He says his competition is art, like paintings by Picasso or the Mona Lisa.

* Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso (c) def. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

- Both teams show respect to each other after the match. Kevin and Jey hug it out.
